Barack Obama appeared live on satellite during the taping of The Daily Show Wednesday night. After Obama's 30 minutes of air time on 7 networks Obama also made it onto The Daily Show. Obama's 30 mintues informercial may of cost him $3 million dollars The Daily Show appearance was no charge. With just 5 days to go before the election it will difficult to avoid both candidates and their ads. Barack Obama did a very entertaining 8 minute visit on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart before holding another rally in Florida on Wednesday. Man do these candidates stay busy.Obama jokes about his "infomercial," Sean Hannity, and a few real issues.Obama also joked that he has been going through therapy so he isn't a victim of the Bradley Effect from himself. His white half might decide not to vote
Stewart will try to make jokes at these three subjects:Disintegration of the Chicago baseball teams and Mets.Stewart would lose to Obama 100-0 in basketballWatch out:Dick Cheney "maybe still hiding in the White House when you move in "It'll be worth watching, but honestly the comedy potential is much higher if Obama went on the Colbert Report. Who knows: maybe he'll make a surprise appearance. Th
Just funny...Update 1 - September 28, 2008 @ 1:30amNiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice quote from Rep. Lloyd Doggett, a Democrat from Texas, re this bailout being pushed on the American taxpayers:"I think President Bush did properly diagnose it when he said the problem was that Wall Street got drunk and has a hangover. The problem is the people who are asked to clean up all the broken furniture, they didn'
I used to really enjoy "The Daily Show," but ever since "The Best F****** News Team" made its debut, the show's fun level has decreased for me. I know they're trying to be funny, but a lot of what they do seems awkward. It's neat when someone like Anderson Cooper is shown laughing and then saying, "I'm sorry," because he just ruined a bit in which one of the members of The Daily Show "pretends"
Jon Steward does it again!!I absolutely agree that in the free world Barack Obama has the right - to freely choose his religion - which means that all the rules that those in Islam imagine - to be true have no worth. Muslims are perfectly welcomed to be slaves to Islam - but to compel others to do the same -- Muslims double talk that claims no compulsion to Islam - but compels those whose grandfat

New Housemates!
At last, all 18 Housemates have entered the Big Brother house. During Sunday’s live show three housemates and two houseguests entered the game. This year’s audition process was a little bit different compared to season’s past. The public was allowed to vote in their favorites. The top three with the most votes were guaranteed [...]
Aftermath of Friday Night Live
The events of the first Friday Night Live are still sending shockwaves throughout the house. After a night of exhausting challenges that included hopping over imaginary planets and battling aliens, Nobbi won the games. As the winner of the first Friday Night Live Nobbi was given a globe trophy - which [...]
The boys alliance, also know as the Spa Mafia devised their first official operation in the house. They plan on stealing one of Bridget’s sleeping partners (IE, Stuffed Animals) and place the blame on one of the girls. Saxon and Ben went into the Diary Room to explain the mission with greater detail.
First, one [...]
One of the biggest differences between the American version of Big Brother and it’s international counterparts is the way houseguests are eliminated from the Game. In the American version the houseguests vote for the person they want out of the game. While in the International versions the viewing public gets to vote for elimination. The [...]

You may have thought over the past 7 years that the Fox News channel was an extension of the Bush administration. According to The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Fox News has now been around for 12 wonderful years. On Thursday night John Oliver of The Daily Show began a two part documentary on the Fox News channel showing just how “fair and balanced” they actually have been. The parts of the piece only total about 10 minutes but it is all that is needed to show the different types of coverage that is given to two different administrations. When it came to executive privilege, journalists for Fox News wanted it limited during the Clinton administration and expanded during the Bush administration. Clinton’s matter was a personal and sexual matter, yet the journali
Fox News, "fair and balanced." The fact that they feel it necessary to say that makes me question just how fair and balanced they are. I think their logic is, "People think we're unfair, unbalanced, so let's tell them they're wrong." The Daily Show usually seems totally unbiased, because they seem to make fun of all sides equally. Or do they?Sometimes I find myself wondering why Jon Stewart went one way instead of another. Those times are rare, but when they happen, I worry that all the people who trust the Fake News will get swayed one direction not out of logical argument, but simply because of faith and belief in what Jon Stewart says.I hope he can't be bought.
I was with the WGA on this strike, that is until NBC ran out of episodes of The Office and I realized how empty my 11 P.M. to 12 A.M.'s truly are without Jon and Stephen presenting the news to me. I understand what the WGA is going for but enough is enough, non-violent protest can only accomplish so much before more ex...just kidding. Both shows will be returning without their writing staff so the question of quality has to be raised. However, Stewart and Colbert already served as writers on their respective shows and new shows that are just ok will be better than no new shows at all. Also, the return of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, both WGA members themselves, may motivate the WGA to end this strike sooner rather than later. When asked if they would have preferred to come back on the air with their writing staff on board Stewart and Colbert responded "If we cannot, we would like to express our ambivalence, but without our writers we are unable to express something as nuanced
In case you didn’t see it, The Daily Show has posted the full, uncut interview with Bill Clinton.

Hey, if conservatives can make talk radio work, why not a satirical news show?
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fox News is preparing a couple episodes of a conservative-leaning satirical news program (think Daily Show, but red). It sounds like the initial plan is to run the show weekly if it is popular. Wizbang’s take is here.
Sounds good to me. Of course… can we get a common-sense news program (perhaps run by a Libertarian) that makes fun of both of the major parties and their antics?
It’s a sad day in comedy on the Internet, as Comedy Central (A Viacom company) has ordered a DMCA takedown of their TV content from the popular video sharing website YouTube. This will leave dead YouTube links on thousands of blogs, possibly even my own ( I haven’t checked yet), and reduce the value of YouTube considerably. Google may find they spent about a $1Billion too much on YouTube, when they bought it a couple weeks ago for $1.4B.
YouTube is not dead (Only some user’s schticks will be). We’ll just have to look to Lonelygirl15 for political and social commentary instead. Yes I’m kidding about that.
LisaNova is pretty good at satire though.
