We featured Saitek’s new Cyborg Gaming Mouse only a few posts back and, whilst we thought that Microsoft’s new Sidewinder probably won out in terms of desirability, we were not averse to the curious styling of Saitek’s new gaming mouse – however, the true cannot be said of Saitek’s frankly hideous Cyborg Gaming Keyboard. I thought I had seen the most advanced and cool looking keyboard when I bought the saitek eclipse 2 keyboard. But I was wrong. Saitek have done it a gain and this time they have even beaten logitech’s G15 keyboard in functionality. Astounding us all with a touch sensitive backlit control panel at the top of the keyboard, and 10 hot keys at the sides. Also you can scroll from red to green to amber easily, and adjust the brightness. So, weren’t these features available in the saitek eclipse 2? Yes, but this time the colours are saved on shut downs and restarts, removing the annoying matter of reconfiguring the lights every time you start up.
