You hate to ever have to turn down sales. It feels good to get in every sales dollar that you can.
However, you have to remember it’s not really a sale until you have cash in hand. It is collections that really counts.
Because of that reason there could be times when you just have to put your foot down.
If you don’t, you could be picking up the rejects from your competitors. There could be customers that circle around. They’ll by as much as they can from you. Then when they suddenly can’t buy anymore, they’ll move on to the next person. Or, when a company says, "You can’t buy anymore because you’re too stretched out," they’ll rotate around.
So, how does somebody get paid in that situation? Often times, it could be putting the clamps on them and saying no more shipments until they get certain invoices paid up. That might be your final leverage in order to get payments to come in sooner. Over the long-term, you’ll have to decide if this is the type of relationsh
WASHINGTON (AP) - Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton separately declared their support Tuesday for a March 31, 2008 cutoff in funds for the Iraq war, two Democratic presidential front-runners abruptly shifting positions on the issue at the heart of the 2008 race.
The twin announcements came on the eve of a largely symbolic Senate vote, and as Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd, said in a campaign commercial it was unfortunate that his White House rivals “will not join me” in supporting legislation setting the cutoff date.
In a written statement issued in early afternoon, Obama said that after 1,518 days, “the Iraq war rages on, with no sign of a resolution.”
The Illinois senator said he would vote for a cutoff in war funding as well as a second bill setting standards for the Iraqi government “not because I believe either is the best answer, but because I want to send a strong statement to the Iraqi government, the president and my Republican colleagues
Both top Democratic Presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton both have signed on to support a bill cutting off all funds for the Iraq war after March 31, 2008.A risky move if you ask me. Either one of them could be the nominee and the GOP an attack them for the chaos that will ensue after that date.It is, after all, the only way Congress can stop the war. You want to war to end, you want Congress to do it, then funds need to be cut. That's the only way they can do it. It's not a fun way, it's not anything to celebrate about, but that's how the war ends

But but but they say they DO support the troops. ~RJHWashington Post article link Reid Backs Iraq War-Funds CutoffSenate Leader Makes It Clear a Bush Veto Wouldn't End Debate on WithdrawalBy Shailagh MurrayWashington Post Staff WriterTuesday, April 3, 2007; A04Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid yesterday endorsed the Senate's toughest antiwar bill yet, a bid to cut off funding within a year, sending a clear signal to President Bush that the Iraq debate will continue in Congress regardless of whether he carries through on his veto threats.Reid (Nev.) announced that he had teamed up with Sen. Russell Feingold (Wis.), one of the Democrats' strongest war critics, on legislation to set a deadline of March 31, 2008, for completing the withdrawal of combat forces and ending most military spending in Iraq.Reid's decision came as House and Senate Democrats were just starting to deliberate a compromise war spending bill. The package is likely to include language at least calling for troop
