The girls helped me put up our nativity scene the other night. Their excitement was awesome! When we were done, Emily was looking at it with a very confused look on her face. She looked at me and said, "But where's Noah?" I said, "He's in the playroom with his ark.", but then had a good laugh.*************************************Yesterday at church I was teaching about 25 kids under the age of 4 about the Christmas story. We were talking about the manger. I told them that animals eat food out of a manger. But since Mary and Joseph didn't have a bed for Baby Jesus, they used the manger for his bed. I had a box and put some hay in it and then gently laid a baby doll into it. One of the little boys had a really scared look on his face and said, "Oh no, are the animals going to eat Baby Jesus?" I assured him that the animals didn't eat Baby Jesus, but got another good laugh!

Yesterday the boys helped rake the backyard for the last time. There were so many leaves Woody insisted on helping. He did great and got the concept of moving all the leaves into the woods. What a little helper! Cooper was to busy to help. He was busy jumping into the leaves and bouncing again and again in them.

A day chock-full of Boxer-y goodness… today I got to see my girl Heidi and the two new Boxer pups that will be sharing her house… they are way too cute for words.  They have a funny smell (mom calls it “new puppy smell” and apparently I stunk like this too when I was a baby) but I found them interesting.  I was trying to play with Heidi but she didn’t feel like playing today - she was very tired and just wanted to rest on her couch. This is Dee-Dee, the girl pup.  She looks a LOT like her Aunt Heidi… she has on the pink harness in the photos (cause, well, she’s a GIRL) This is Fritz, the boy (notice the BLUE harness)… he has really cool stripes and white mittens on his paws… Heidi seems tired but happy.  She wagged her sweet little stump when I came in, and I was really happy to see her.  I was a little confused as to why she didn’t want to run outside with me, but I could tell that she wasn’

Do you ever watch those funny clips on Jay Leno where he says, “For legal reasons, my life has to be filmed 24 hours a day, so this footage is available for you now…” And then it shows his cat dialing the phone and stuff? Anyway. I sometimes wish my life was filmed 24/7! My kids do the cutest damned things, it’s sick. And the second I pick up my camera, they stop. Or sometimes, they save the real cuteness for someplace like the car or the grocery store, where I don’t have my camera sitting there ready. For example! Today, on the way home from picking up Kayley, we were listening to a mix CD and noticed Lexi singing along with the song. The song was, What Light by Wilco, and Lexi was just wailing along with it, “Ders a liiiight, wa liiiiight…” over and over. It was sick! They also LOVE singing along with parts of Rehab by Amy Winehouse and The Sweet Escape by Gwen Stefani. What can I say, they have a thing for catchy tunes. Also, Pablo

I had to post this picture because it's just too god damned cute! Don't you think? Hehe, yes, Ross and I are adorable.I can't wait to get done with work. I'm going to Ross's to play with the kitty. I've got three more hours in this little box before I'm finally set free. I'm feeling much better now about work and everything, though. A good bunch of sleep works wonders.I feel like I've accomplished a lot so far today, really. I caught up on my sleep, went to work, and even got some of my logic homework done. I'm beginning to understand logic, too. It's pretty easy and I'm incredibly thankful I don't have to sit through a lecture because I know that'd be a nap waiting to happen right there.My camping trip is coming up soon and I have no idea where we're going or who is coming with. My friend Courtney came over last night to take pictures of my kids. She’s the amazing photographer who took the pictures of the kids that are up there in the header, and you’ve probably seen a few other pictures of the kids that she’s taken over the past year or so. Her talent in capturing kids exactly how they look just astonishes me. All my friends have had her take pictures of their kids too, and I think we’re all just bowing down to her in awe! Note that the ACTUAL kid chairs have been pushed together to form a baby bed. Nikki would have no part of this. She was far too busy having fun with her PEEEEEEOPLES! And here’s one of ME! Do I have the slowest growing hair on the planet, or what? I got a haircut I hated THREE MONTHS ago. It’s still only, like, 1/8th of an inch longer than it was when I got it cut. Waaaaah! I miss having flippy ends and sideswept bangs! Somebody punch me in the throat next time I talk about getting a drastic change made to my hair.

We've been looking forward to getting the Zen Stone -- Creative's remarkably iPod Shuffle-like answer to the iPod Shuffle -- in our freshly washed, gadget-loving hands. And now we have. It really is as cute as a button. With pigtails. It's slightly larger than the Shuffle, but elegant with it.

I was so excited to meet the family I took pictures for last night. When mom emailed telling me she had a three month old, I couldn't wait. And let me tell you, this little girl was SO CUTE! She had the best disposition and the sweetest personality.
