Actor-producer John Cusack is set to release a new movie later this month entitled "War, Inc." in which he stars and also co-wrote. The political satire represents his outrage at the war in Iraq, and hopes it will get a reaction out of viewers.Cusack said, "I think the movie should be kind of offensive. I'm shocked at how much good reaction we're getting." The film will include a chorus line consisting of female Iraq War vets showing lots of skin who are also amputees.Hilary Duff, also in the film, said: "We're trying to raise awareness with it. CHICAGO – Chicago’s John Cusack will play a mad scientist’s hunchbacked lab assistant in the animated feature film “Igor” from The Weinstein Company. Igor’s greatest aspiration is to win a first-place prize at an annual evil science fair. The film also features voice talent from Jay Leno, Arsenio Hall, Eddie Izzard, Molly Shannon, Steve Buscemi, John Cleese, Jennifer Coolidge and James Lipton (who plays himself). “Igor” is slated for release on Sept. 19, 2008. Following my Oct. 12 red-carpet coverage of John Cusack in Chicago for the Chicago International Film Festival sold-out premiere of “Grace is Gone,” I have been in communication with veteran Chicago photographer Joe Arce.He is a 23-year celebrity photographer. At The Sundance Festival this year, one of the films on everyone’s lips was “Grace Is Gone”. The Weinstein Co quickly snapped up the film and Clint Eastwood requested if he could write the score. The brilliant score is featured on the trailer which was released yesterday. Some critics have said that the trailer doesn’t show the film in the best light and I agree, but it’s definitely worth watching. The movie follows the story of a recently-widowed father as he tries to tell his daughters about their mothers death in Iraq on a road-trip to a theme park. The film is a heart-wrenching tale with political undertones, if you don’t reach for the Kleenex when you watch it you must be mad! Check out the trailer at /film.
