Like Croatia, the music too is influenced from the neighbouring areas like the Mediterranean, Balkans and people that travelled from central and north Europe. The music is available in the traditional folk, there is pop and there is rock too.  The folk music contains the klapa music, which forms a part of the capella singing. Klapa means a group of people and has been founded in church singing. The motif of klapa singing comprises of wine, country and the sea. They basically translate to the elements of music that includes harmony; rhythm does not play a substantial role here.  The group is made of singers that are inseparable to the team. There is the tenor, bass and baritone. You can have 2 of each of them but the tenor has to be only one. On some occasions a few strings of the guitar sound heavenly along with the mandolin. Klapa still lives on from time immemorial, it is sung on festivals by the youth. You will also hear some amateurs crooning on the streets in the evening

English Premiership club Arsenal reported to sign Croatian midfielder Luca Modric. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger show his interest to bring Modric to London. Luca modric 22-year-old currently playing for one of the Croatian top clubs, Dinamo Zagreb. Luca Modric uses both feet to play, and his biggest strength is his swift offensive positioning without the ball. He’s also one of few playmakers who contribute on the defensive end as well. His lack of physical power contradicts his shot, which has a surprising amount of power making his shots on goal mostly effective. However, he has plenty of stamina and is very aggressive in duels. I'm extremely delighted to be able to spend time with two fine gentlemen, a Kuwaiti (Mr. K) and a Croatian (Mr. C). Because of them, I truely feel how fortunate I have been. Both of them have experienced wars first-hand. Mr. K with the First Gulf War and Mr. C with the Yogoslavian war in the early 90'sOne of the conversations with Mr. K goes like thisMe: What do you think about the US?Mr. K: Well, I can't say that I agree with the US foreign policy. But I have to be thankful to them. Without America, there's no Kuwaiti. By the way, our security depends on the US now. So we are friendsMe: Do you feel happy being a friend of the US?Mr. K: I know their intentions. They didn't help us because they really love Kuwaitis. But I was in Kuwait City during the whole duration of Iraqi occupation. Life was tough. When the Iraqis retreated, they took everyone they could see hostage.
