Wow! Capcom came with with an intro sequence for a Street Fighter game that didn't have GIF images sliding across the screen with 2 frames of animation. I'm impressed! Even more so because the sequence above is so stylized. I'm not keen on how the new chick is handing Chun-Li's titties to her on a plate though. She's the new girl. She should NOT be able to bitch slap Chun-Li and then fly kick her in the face and send her spinning. Not cool. And when Chun-Li did finally manage to land a spinning bird kick it lacked impact and didn't even looked like it did damage. I wanted that spinning bird kick to have the same effect on Crimson Viper that it had on Vega in the animated movie. ITH reader Benjie sent along a tip that a voter from the Idaho Statesman was leaving Indiana off of his Associated Press ballot. I did a little digging on pollspeak.com and confirmed that the individual in question, Nick Jezierny, has not voted Indiana in his last three AP ballots.
Of the other ballots available on pollspeak for Week 6, only seven other voters had Indiana ranked lower than 15 and no one had them ranked below 19.
Here are some other oddities with Jezierny’s latest ballot:

Last night Jesse and I took a big step toward buying our first home. We attended a class in Green Bay through NeighborWorks which teaches first time home buyers what to do to get pre-approved, how to clean up your credit, and most of all to find out if you are ready to buy a home. The class was a little intimidating: lots of information, a few horror stories, etc, but we're excited about the possibility maybe in the next six months to a year.I have a blackboard/corkboard in the kitchen where I post notes and invitations. On the blackboard, I put up a new piece of Scripture just about every week. I used to really push the kids to memorize them: every time they got one down, they got a candy bar. Even though I’m mostly a shonen lover now, I come across good shojo series every now and then. Normally said series are outside the pages of the oft-dreaded Shojo Beat magazine. Though I really don’t have a hatred for Shojo Beat, I was mildly shocked at myself for wanting to pick up Crimson Hero volume 1 on a whim at a Borders one afternoon.
I quickly discovered what a unique combination of sports and shojo this series is. The story begins with tomboyish Nobara Sumiyoshi’s first day of high school. She picked out her school because it’s legendary in the volleyball world, and she’s a serious volleyball FREAK player. However, when she arrives at her school, she finds out that there’s no girls volleyball team- the boys’ team is the one everyone’s talking about. Desparate, Nobara quickly attempts to form her own team, but her mom tries to stop her.
Then Nobara runs away from home and lives in the boys’ volleyball dorm as a dorm mother.
