Whoops! A bunch of our blogs are still on a shared host, and I guess they were putting too much load on the server. Without warning, I’m staring at a “Your Account Has Been Suspended” message! We are getting ready to move everything over to a new dedicated server, and as such, [...]
Gonzalo Arijon’s documentary “Stranded: I’ve Come from a Plane That Crashed on the Mountains” tells the commanding, full-circle tale of the Uruguayan rugby team, “the Old Christians,” and their families and supporters, compromised of forty-five privileged, educated and high-spirited individuals with everything to live for, boarding a plane for the first time which was on [...]
Hi, just to let you guys know. My PC has a problem and doesn’t power on anymore I’m using my laptop now, but the Internet connection here is really bad and I have almost no traffic allowed per month.
So, anime reviews may be delayed for some time. For now, I’ll only continue with [...]
The Office program crashed just before you save a document and sometime it’s just hanged and couldn’t be closed except through the Task Manager.
When it restarted, the last saved status of the backup copy is restored and it’s likely that you would lost the last ten minutes or your work.

I've just received news that b3ta.com is down due to a fire started by a faulty microwave. B3ta.com founder 'Rob Manuel' has been killed in the blast. I'm still a little shaken up by the news. He owes me £2000, but that's not important right now. His six children and wife are now father/husbandless. I'm going round there next Wednesday to help
Those of you frequently reading this blog, know I am a frequent traveller. There were times, I averaged 40 flights a month. That is why I frequently post stuff about planes, airports and air travel in general...As an aidworker, I often fly "bush planes", "special charters", or at least fly in areas where ummm... air travel might not be as strictly controlled as it should be. I gave some examples i
As someone who hates to fly I am a big fan of cruise ships which in my opinion are truly the safest way to travel. Later this year I have an event to attend in San Fransisco which means a 6 day trip acoss the Atlantic on a Cunard Liner.

I know we are so over it and so back to drinking Perrier, flying on Airbus planes, coating our faces with L’Oreal and reading Rolling Stone magazine, even so I want to write about the old French product protest “we” had a few years ago. My first question about our protest of French products is; [...]
If you noticed, for the last couple of hours my blog kinda went nuts.
For a while it went to a blank page, soon after, the design appeared but no entries were showing. About 15 mins ago, everything went back to normal. (At least I think it did.)
Me and my itchy hand.
Aaah! Okay, here's the thing.
I'm waaay stressed out over tomorrow's paper so I decided to take a break and do a little programming. (Bad choice of course.)
I was just gonna modify my pinging thingy cause recently it kinda broke down or something. I don't know why but it doesn't seem to auto ping at Ping.sg when I publish an entry.
Unfortunately, I kinda ended up crashing the whole system instead.
I was totally in panic mode, fyi.
Haven't exactly backed up the system for like... I can't even remember the last time I did do a b
Just wanted to mention that because of a server failure at my web host, HostGator, I’ve lost my two latest articles: Top 5 iPhone Blogs I Recommend and the April Fools joke I posted yesterday, BREAKING: FCC to Issue iPhone Ban in the US — Yes, it was a joke, no need to panic! (...)
Computers take a lot of abuse these days and laptops probably bear the most of it. As mobile technology gains momentum more and more people are using their laptops to store information that they can access readily wherever they are. In an effort to have organized, ready to refer information at their fingertips, many people are shifting over to virtual ways of storing data but not many pay attention to the fact that like many advanced machines a laptop also needs to be cared for and maintained. When one day your laptop decides to take a breather and crash, you realize you are at risk of losing all that valuable information that you entrusted into the hands of your faithful laptop. Backups may not be updated and every second of data loss may cost you a lot of money. Luckily, you have data re

Xie Xingfang and Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong, the title holders of the Yonex All England, were sent packing as early as the first round in a day of upsets.Hopefully for Xie Xingfang, the second half of 2008 will be brighter than the first one. Because so far, the world’s best has had a tough beginning of the year. Injured in Malaysia just before the kick off of the tournament, she then withdrew from Korea Open to prepare for the All England. And if her waist injury was gone, she didn’t seem at her ease on Wednesday, against Hong Kong’s hard hitter Yip Pui Yin. There will be no hattrick of titles as well for Xingfang as the top Chinese player went down in two games against the Pui Yin.The tiny Hong Kong player played some of her best badminton in her career – something she seems to

hey guys I have here some information that will help you identify why your workstation crashed... thus lot's of you wondering why does your PC undergo such crop, so guys hope this will help identify such problem and from here you can start fixing it... c",)Fatal error: the system has become unstable or is busy," it says. What can you do? More importantly, how can you prevent it happening?1. Hardware conflictThe number one reason why Windows crashes is hardware conflict. Each hardware device communicates to other devices through an interrupt request channel (IRQ). These are supposed to be unique for each device. For example, a printer usually connects internally on IRQ 7. The keyboard usually uses IRQ 1 and the floppy
This was the incredible scene after a car cartwheeled more than 100ft through the air before embedding itself in a first-floor flat. John Gordon's Volvo took off after hitting a tree on a roundabout and flew until it crashed into the flats 15ft off the ground and facing backwards. The car smashed into a lounge where 19-year-old Laura Stevens had been a few seconds earlier.Emergency crews spent half an hour cutting free Mr Gordon, 31, but he later died from his injuries. His nine-year-old son, who was his passenger, survived with cuts and bruises. Engineers had to spend three hours dismantling the wall of the flats in Werrington, Peterborough, before they could remove the car. Source & Image: thisislondon
Last night’s match has seen some shock results as Bayern Munich and Barcelona lose their match in their respective league. Bayern Munich lose to VBF Stuttgart 3 -1 with the Brazillian defender Lucio had been sent out. This is a bad performance from them as they started very well in the early stage of the league. I guess they will work it out to sort out their problems and maintain at the top of the league. Barcelona on the other hand had the same fate as Bayern Munich as they crashed out 2-0 to Schuster’s old team Getafe. Zambrotta also have been sent out, bet the game was a tight one for Barcelona.
Meanwhile on EPL, Liverpool win their match against Fulham with two late goals 10 minutes from time by Fernando Torres and a penalty by Steven Gerard. Nonetheless, this is a boost for Liverpool to keep on winning and try to catch the top teams like Arsenal and Manchester United for the league title.

I'm happy that Vista or perhaps XP has a restore point feature to restore your previous known startup stage. I was trying to get an software to play the MDF and MDS image format. It turns out the MagicDisc has a very good review.MagicDisc is freeware. It is an utility designed for creating and managing virtual CD drives and CD/DVD discs. You know what, after I installed this fellow, it caused my PC unable boot. This fellow crashed my Vista!!! My baby is dead!!! Luckily I still managed to save my baby using the restore point feature from Microsoft. Kudos to the Microsoft this time. Microsoft, thank you...From now on, I have no longer trust any softwares that are from this site www.magiciso.com. I advise you not to try MagicDisc, it is probably not going to work especially in Vista. You can try your luck but use at your own risks. You can download this MagicDisc here.I'm still searching for utility to view my MDF and MDS video image format file...
I should have known, when my laptop was taking 20 minutes to just come on. My husband tried everything, and it just kept locking up and programs would not work. So we had to do a full restore on the...
The cabin voice recorders, known as black boxes, of a passenger plane that crashed on the New Year's day have been retrieved and will be sent to the United States for further investigation, an official said Tuesday. "The black boxes will be sent immediately to Washington for examination, we also received offer from Australia to help read the black boxes," said Tatang Kurniadi, head of the National Committee for Transportation Safety (KNKT). The cabin voice recorders were retrieved from the Majene Sea in West Sulawesi province on Monday, after three days of searching by a joint team of KNKT and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of the United States. The Boeing 737 operated by budget carrier Adam Air crashed into the Sulawesi waters with 102 people onboard. The bodies of the passengers have not been found.Indonesia News Blog: http://indosnesos.blogspot.com
Talking about cars, here’s a strange car accident. The Illinois Interstate police were investigating a car crashed on the Edens Expressway. It’s a Lamborghini luxury sports car worth $350,000 belonging to a foot ball player, linebacker Lance Briggs of Chicago Bears. Police officials say that the car was discovered around 3am.
Interstate police didn’t find any body inside the car and it doesn’t appeared that anyone was hurt or injured during the accident. They have already contacted Briggs because police are not sure if the linebacker or someone else was behind the wheel when the crash happens.
I wonder what Briggs has to say about this.
It is going from bad to worse this year for the former Prost F1 driver and F3000 Champion (well he was stripped off the title after his cannabis incident). Only a week after crashing with Mika Salo in the ALMS race at Mid-Ohio (videos inside the article) and following sacking from the Petersen Motorsports/White Lightning team (after pressure from Ferrari allegedly) Tomas Enge crashed again. This time at 24 hour FIA GT race at Spa in the colors of Scuderia Ecosse. He totally wrecked his Ferrari 430 after 240 km/h smash into the barriers. Another team, another crash, another wrecked car... Mid Ohio incident videos:Earlier this year he was involved in a heavy accident in St.Petersburg, Florida. He was lucky to escape only with some broken ribs, shattered elbow and punctured lungs. Here is another one of his crashes, this one from 2005 Watkins Glen IRL race with Helio Castroneves. On a happier note, here is celebration of the podium finish at the A1 GP race in Brno.Would be nice to see F1 dr

Eddie Griffin crashed a rare Ferrari Enzo worth $1.5 million into a concrete barrier while practicing at a racetrack, destroying the car but escaping uninjured. The 38-year-old actor-comedian was practicing Monday for a charity race to promote his upcoming film, “Redline,” when he drove too fast around a curve at the Irwindale Speedway. Video footage shows the red sports car screeching before it ricocheted off the barrier with heavy damage to its front.“Undercover Brother’s good at karate and all the rest of that, but the Brother can’t drive,” said Griffin, referring to his 2002 movie, after the accident. The film’s publicist, Wendy Zocks, said Griffin was “doing OK.” “He walked away completely unscratched, but probably a little shaken,” Zocks said. The Enzo is owned by “Redline” executive producer Daniel Sadek, whose exotic car collection is featured in the movie. So, I haven't posted an account of what happened during the weekend.I usually do that on Mondays, which was the initial plan. But my plans normally blow monkeynuts so that wasn't what happened.Instead I got sidetracked. Something I tend to do.But I had a few moments over the weekend I'd like to share and that's where this blog comes in handy.Because I'll be using this blog to acknowledge those moments and emphasize the funnier more unusual parts.Which isn't many. Thus, me making this intro much longer than anticipated. So, into the weekend -FridayWent Rock -N- Bowling. Originally, we were just going to do regular bowling, but it turns out it's cheaper to bowl from 11pm to 1 am.Who would of thunk it?We ordered beer and pizza. Pizza that was the devil for it burned the roof of my mouth. So to get my revenge I consumed half the pizza by myself.Showed that mofo didn't I?And I bowled awesomely, breaking a 100 every time. (Which may not be great, but for me it is.)SaturdayThe day is a
