Isn’t it amazing that whenever you really need a flashlight, your batteries are always dead? This usually happens part way through a camping trip, or during a big storm.
One of the coolest remedies to this problem comes from a combination of old and new technologies. It is the LED crank flashlight. A few turns of the crank provides power for the flashlight for a relatively long period of time. This is partially due to the low power consumption of the LED bulb. Not to worry, these LED bulbs are very bright. My dad has one of these flashlights and I was amazed at how well it worked.
I know I will be asking for one of these for Christmas (more than one is cool too). It is a great gift that can serve a purpose when outdoors or at home.
