At the beginning of spring break I bought a book. This was the first reading for leisure I'd done since starting school way back in June, and I was ecstatic. I love to read, and before my life went to hell (that would be starting school), I'd read several books in a week. The much anticipated purchase was Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Several people I know had raved about it, I've seen bloggers talk about how great it was, and it's on the best seller's list. This should be a no brainer, right? But then I began reading. The more I read, the more I wanted to smack our self absorbed, egomaniac heroine, Miss Gilbert. The writing? Well it was great. The subject matter? I found it fascinating. The Writer? Drove me fucking crazy. Yes - we get it, she can speak Italian ok? I compl
I am so happy to share this with you.
Here is my Black-eyed Susan painting that was printed on the cover of Human Exceptionality now in it's ninth edition.
It was and is an amazing opportunity, and I am so thankful to be in the right place at the right time.
I just received it last week.
I just love the matching colors for the background and text. My name is in the index copyrighted.

Britney Spears's much-talked-about new album, Blackout, has arrived – at least as far as the cover is concerned. Here in this first look, the fedora-sporting pop star, 25, is shown in long brunette tresses and gazing directly at the camera. The release of the real album art comes after a series of fake covers were leaked on the Internet. The album will be released on Oct. 30, her label, Jive, announced Wednesday. The original date of Nov. 13 was moved up because of " numerous unauthorized online leaks," the company said in a release. In September, PEOPLE got an advance listen to completed songs from the album – among them "Radar," "Piece of Me," "Break the Ice" and "Heaven on Earth."Complete Track List1. Kanye West's new album "Graduation" comes out on September 11th, and his cover art was done by DOPE Japanese artist Takashi Murakami.
Murakami uses the Japanese art style called "Superflat" which comes out of manga and anime and critiques the downfalls of Japanese society.

If you haven’t heard already, Marvel Comics and Bungie were working together to bring us the monthly Halo comic series. The above image is the cover art to Halo #1.
…that’s all I got to say about that.

Just to tease all you Harry Potter fans (including myself) who are already anxiously and excitedly waiting the release of the 7th book on July 21st, here is the cover art for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
In the picture above, the main image is the UK Kid’s edition cover art by Jason Cockroft, showing Harry, Hermione and Ron jumping from what looks like a treasure filled room, with fear on their faces. Also notice the dwarfish looking arm latched on to Harry, and holding a sword aloft in the air?!
The British adult edition (bottom right), shows a locket with an intricate S shape stencilled in to it. which to my mind, this can only indicate Slytherin’s locket.
Top right is the American edition by Mary Grandpre, with a confident looking Harry staring up at something far off in the sky.
Whichever edition you’ll be purchasing come July, the cover art is certainly very well drawn and makes me want to read the final installment more than ever. I can’t wait!
Holy smokes in a ten gallon rust bucket, I am addicted! I can not stop creating things, rofl. I am having so much fun designing "imaginary" covers.....do you like this latest one? It's simple, yet elegant, lol.
iTunes 7 cover art seems to work pretty good. Got a lot of missing covers but quite often it can be because the artist name or CD title is slightly wrong on my ripped version and making it right allows the cover to be retrieved.
When getting CD titles if I have an incompletely ripped CD i.e. there are missing tracks, then the track titles are never found as it appears that iTunes checks all CD tracks lengths and then does some horrendous file comparison.
When retrieving covers it appears to check each individual track as it does find covers for incompletely ripped cd’s. Even finds covers for a lot of bootlegs ferchrissakes. Â
Haven’t found covers for 2Pac’s Better Dayz nor a Sons Of The Pioneers compilation. The former probably because its got ’Disc 1′and ‘Disc 2′ buried in its title and the latter coz its just too weird.Â

I have been playing around with my Paint Shop Pro and am seriously considering offering Cover Art design on my site as well. I love to create the graphics and I thought, why not? This example is just a simple little deal I whipped up in a few minutes and I kinda like it. What do you think?
