The Black Atlanta judge who asked all the White folks in his courtroom to kindly step out, so he could give the brothers a personal lecture on responsibility, apologized Tuesday, saying he lost his head after being frustrated with trifling African-American defendants shuffling through his courtroom.
He said that he was concerned at the [...]
The first time OJ was in the courtroom to face charges against the Nichole Simpson and Ron Goldman murders, he was stoic. His facial muscles were relaxed, no doubt due to the anti anxiety medication that was being pumped into him during the trial. He looked cool, calm and collected. The only sign of his body revealing the truth was when the gruesome photos were shown; you could see a clenched jaw and see who swallow hard. Even for a sociopath, who managed to convince himself at the time that he didn’t kill Ron and Nichole, the photos shook up his conscience—at least for a moment. When the verdict was announced and he was declared “not guilty” you see a humbled facial expression, filled with gratitude.
There is clearly no humility on OJ’s face this time. Without anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medication OJ’s facial expressions roam freely. The body does NOT lie and neither does face.
OJ’s facial expressions speak volumes. They scream out “arro

I call your attention to a short letter published in the Fayetteville Observer by Roy Speckhardt, Executive Director of the American Humanist Association. Speckhardt argues that courtroom oaths should be secular and to attempt to incorporate all possible religions is absurd. He's right.Should a witness be required to swear an oath on the Christian bible? Of course not! America may be a Christian nation in the sense that the majority of Americans profess their Christianity, but this is simply not relevant here. Why would a Christian want a non-Christian to swear on a bible in the first place? Doesn't the Christian realize that an oath sworn over something that is not meaningful to the swearer has no value? What is the optimal solution given that we live in a multicultural society with great religious diversity? Do we have Christians swear on bibles, Muslims on Qurans, Scientologists on Hubbard, etc., and how much of this are we really prepared to accommodate? Before commenting on the a

DAYTON — The second time Keison Wilkins acted as his own attorney for a felonious assault trial didn't work out so well.

The sentencing capped off a week of Wilkins' antics, which frequently caused Huffman to clear the courtroom. At one point he began yelling ab
