Did she think it was Halloween or something? British pop singer Lily Allen decided to dress up like cotton candy for a little shopping excursion in LA on Tuesday. Is this a good look for her? I think she...
U.S.Federal drug agents say candy-flavored cocaine is a new and troubling development and are hoping to keep it from spreading to the rest of the country after its recent emergence in California.Drug rings have occasionally sold cocaine mixed with candy powder, but investigators said the new product was significantly more sophisticated and lucrative. Cocaine cut with an added flavoring is less pot
Oh cruel fate, why must you mock me with seasonal menu items? Dairy Queen's Cotton Candy Blizzard is one of the sweetest treats I have ever had, and apparently I won't have it again for eight months.Vanilla ice cream with cotton candy syrup and little bits of pink, purple, and blue cotton candy - I can't believe it took humanity so many millenniums to come up with it! And I also can't believe that Dairy Queen feels it's in their best interests to not sell this remarkable confectionery creation year round. I went into the Dairy Queen in the Viewmont Mall today looking to purchase one of these sugary masterpieces only to be informed that they were no longer carrying it. I was left with no other option than to try the Butterfingers variety and begin biding my time until the Cotton Candy Blizz
Time to pack the family up and get ready for the fun and frivolity of International Qods Day (IQD) celebrations slated for October 5, 2007. What is IQD?: “International Qods Day reminds the world of the decades of Israeli oppression against an innocent and defenseless nation. The late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, designated the day. During this annual event both Muslims and non-Muslims in large numbers in many countries come out to renew their support for the Palestinians and their resistance against the cruel Israeli military occupation.” In juxtaposition to the day, Israeli Foreign Minister and Vice Prime Minister Tzipi Livni while addressing the UN 62nd General Assembly yesterday said: "The foundation for true peace lies in the vision of two States, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security." Of the threats of terror and extremism she said: "Israel may be on the front lines of this battle" against terrorism, but it is

Celebrate Good Times….Come on! Today Iran celebrated “peaceful nuclear” research and successes: “The National Day of Nuclear Technology was celebrated this afternoon in an official ceremony in the presence of Ahmadinejad, a number of his cabinet members and MPs as well as ambassadors of foreign countries to Tehran.” All this fun is taking place at the Natanz nuclear site in Iran. The celebration marks the: “anniversary of April 9, 2006 on which Iranian technician successfully produced enriched uranium to the level of 3.5 percent.” Exciting news that Iran shares with Brazil the rank (according to IRNA) of eighth, following the 5 permanent members of the U.N. Security Council; as well as Germany and Japan. President of the Islamic Republic at the celebrations said: ‘"From now on, Iran is placed in the category of the nations producing fuel at industrial level. As servant of the great nation, let me extend my felicitations on the success."’ El
I can't tell if this is real or not, but if it is real, this is unintentional comedy on the highest level. It's a Myspace page devoted to "Ken the Cotton Candy Man" from Pirate, Steeler, and Penguin games. And I quote: "Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who wants to buy lemonade or cotton candy...3.75 please!!!"
This romper, while cute, isn’t normally my style. It’s a little too 70s, and it is not particularly flattering for my body. However, it is so soft and comfy, I couldn’t pass it up. It’s made of Modal, so it is really, really soft - and I am all about texture. It’s very light and airy, so it will be perfect for the hot Los Angeles nights (which are already upon us, even in March). It reminds me of the kind of thing you wear as a little kid, which I love - it makes me feel silly and playful.
I got this from GraffittiPink.com, a new online boutique that specializes in lingerie and loungewear. They are Los Angeles-locals, which I always love. Cotton Candy is their house line, and if all the pieces are like this one, I think it will do very well.
One of my favorite childhood memories involved eating cotton candy at the fair or the circus. I can just taste the soft and light sugar puffs hitting my lips--it's so sweet! Anyways, you can also recreate that feeling in Korea. However, your cotton could possible come from a different source--no, not the carnival, but from the back of a motorcycle. That's right. These guys are your number source for cotton candy on the go. They can pull up anywhere at anytime. You just make the call and they'll be there. They can serve you cotton candy in a bag or in a cup. Most children eat the cotton candy out of the cup with a little pick, how handy (you can see the pick in action here, from our visit to the Louvre Exhibition at the National Museum of Korea)! The picture above was taken at Yeouido, at one of the major entrances to the park (high traffic area=dolla dolla billz y'all). Now here's something that I've been meaning to post about but I haven't had the chance because I was missing a

Cotton Candy
We all have seen cotton candy. We all have tasted it. But what is it really? How is it made?
Cotton candy is made of sugar and food coloring. Nowadays the sugar comes dyed in different colors already. Machines used to make cotton candy at fairs and carnivals are round with little containers in the middle.
