Positive: We can take the car to CarMax and sell it, and have the money to cover the difference. I.E. We don't have to turn it in as a voluntary repo (which we have been considering)Negative: We're taking money out of the 401KPositive: We'll be able to catch up ALL of the bills.NEgative: DH can't make ANY 401K contributions for 6 months after the withdrawal.Positive: We'll be able to fix our one remaining car (it needs breaks, has a bad oil leak, etc.)Negative: Uh...Positive: Christmas will be covered for sure.Positive: HUGE weight off my shoulders, and our finances with the car out of our hair...which means we can, in fact, go through with the SSI appeal.

      Creative Corners
I often wonder what to do with tricky corner spaces. The instant answer of course is a corner table like the beautiful Clara Corner Modern Table. A contemporary yet classic looking corner table not only enhances those unused corner spaces in an artistic manner. Set it up with a few books or adorn it with a crystal vase, it will look good anyway. The sleek design of this table makes it utilitarian but attractive. The edges are both sharp and smooth. Its also versatile enough to fit into both home and office spaces. The silver legs add to the refined elegance. In the same category with a bit of extra space is the Clara Extended Corner Table. The difference lies in its unique L shape. Its stylish American design is elegant and functional. The shape ensures that it can fit into the most impossible of corners, one of the main reasons I really like this table. Of course the smooth wooden table and beautiful silver legs add to the charm. Overall, Id say, these are corner tables that a

      Rounded Corners in AdSense
Seems as Google are doing it again - testing new ads format in AdSense. After the spring cleanup and new AdSense Ads’ style, they are testing rounded corners. Now this can implement greatly into some designs, but for others it won’t be much of good news. So I appreciate Google’s decision to give users the chance to switch between square, slightly rounded and very rounded corners in the AdSense setup page.

Decide on the corner radius. I used the default of 10 to create these boxes as they are quite small. The four corner graphics are generated for you to save and upload to your blog photo store folder. The CSS and html code is provided for you to copy and paste.I have created some examples to show you on my other site:Sueblimely Discovering - Rounded Corners CSS, html, sueblimely alexa

Rounded corners for header and sidebars
Thanks to Beta Blogger for Dummies, I've discovered an easy way to create rounded headers and sidebar enclosures: Cornershop! Using CSS and HTML code, you can create rounded corners for your header or sidebars in a variety of colours to blend seamlessly with your colour scheme. Simply visit the Cornershop website, specify the colours of the box and background and the roundness of the corners you require. Cornershop will then generate four corners and the CSS/HTML code to paste into your blog template. Here's how to do it: Head over to the Cornershop website. Choose the colours of your background and foreground in the boxes provided. If you need the HEX values for your chosen colours, try Cedges Colour Calculator which will generate the values for you. Choose the roundness of your corners: as a guide I'd say that 10 is neatly rounded, while 20 is very rounded. If either your foreground or background is patterned or transparent, choose transparency for this element of your design.

      Google Ads with Rounded Corners
I was over at ProBlogger and came across a post that informed me of a new option Google has given its publishers: your Adsense ads can now have square edges, slightly rounded, or very rounded. Click here to see previews of the three different ad border styles. I think it’s great that Google is giving Adsense publishers more choices in the look and feel of the ads they run. A selection of different border types is not huge a difference, but it never hurts. However, when I use Adsense, I blend the ads into my site and you cannot see the borders at all, so these differently shaped edges would not matter for me. But I can see how this will be very nice for some people whose ads are not completely blended. More options never hurt anybody, and it’s not something to complain about, even if I won’t be using it! What do YOU think about the new slightly rounded and very rounded edge options? Will you be using them, or do you not have borders visible on your Adsense ads you run?

Dark Corners 2006 DVDRip by ESPiSE
Nightmares blend with dreams to offer a surreal and terrifying portrait of one woman’s rapidly deepening psychological malaise in first-time writer/director Ray Gower’s tale of a troubled young woman pursued by malevolent creatures led by a mysterious villain known as Needletooth. Upon awakening to the shriek of her alarm clock in the early hours of the morning, Karen Clarke (Thora Birch) gets out of bed, walks to the bathroom, and receives the shock of her life upon glancing at the mirror and discovering that she has been badly beaten. With no memory of the violent confrontation that led to her apparent pummeling and nothing but a mysterious locker key to guide her, the young mortuary worker attempts to go about her daily duties preparing bodies for pre-funeral viewings. Soon after a corpse suddenly sits upright and curses Karen for an unknown transgression, the frightened girl finds herself being relentlessly pursued by a villain who seems to have escaped from her worst

      Why can't we take corners?
I am sure there are stats somewhere - perhaps someone can help me here - on the success or otherwise of Arsenal corners and throw-ins. We frustrated fans have suffered from our inability to beat the first defender from corners almost since the time Arsene first came to the club. The object of having a corner or throw-in, surely is to have an advantage over the side conceding the corner or throw-in. Why oh why then do we always seem to kick or throw the ball straight to an opposition player? With such a brilliantly technical team as Arsenal, it just doesn’t make sense to give away the advantage and attacking potential of a corner by simply knocking the ball on to the head of the nearest defender. Quite often in fact the ball doesn’t even reach the defenders head and they can just volley clear. I know we have scored at least one goal from a corner this season - Alex Song’s deflection against Liverpool comes to mind - but for the amount of corners we win during the avera

Shaved and squeaky clean, this ad was recently captured on a street in Paris. Though not trying to sell us the latest version of the precarious 'Down Under' Nads, the ad is reminiscent of the good ol' days in infomercials, overly dramaticizing nicks and cuts from shaving. It's a wonder any of us made it through becoming a woman without slicing our legs in half or waxing our skin off. It may be winter, and you may be single, but Valentine's Day soon approaches - shave for hope, ladies.

      Let Google Create Rounded Corners
Do you want to create dynamic rounded corners for your website? Well, as Zach found out, if you like a risky but fun way, you can abuse Google's server and use a URL like the following: groups-beta.google.com/ groups/roundedcorners? c=999900&bc=white&w=34&h=34&a=tr ... which at this time generates this image: The URL is simply made up of parameters like color, background color, width, height and position - "tr" meaning "top right", "bl" meaning "bottom left" and so on. (Note that Firefox also has rounded corners via CSS3, but they're not anti-aliased, meaning they look a bit "rough".) Google can stop this service anytime, so you can't safely use this on your own live site, but it would be neat if Google gave developers an official web service to handle these kind of things (or you might use something like the PHP image object on your own server, but this might be CPU heavy, even with caching).[Google Blogoscoped]

When I was searching some interesting layout I've realize that there are something about one million ways to get rounded corners in your divs! Or at least there are one million pages with tips how to do that. From my observation appear that there are several, common ways to get "rounded result":use image big image of rounded content and put it as a background in your div's id; use several images (cut your original image) and put them as a background in your several div's ids; use only corners images and split the CSS code with custom javascript code; I don't know which one is the best for me. Yet...I will let You know when I solve this problem. So why do we like rounded corners so much?
