I have long held in my belief that Black Belt Magazine is by far one of the shittiest publications to have ever hit the bookstores. IMHO, Black Belt Magazine is to good martial arts writing as Cosmopolitan is to realistic and healthy relationship advice. Now, with a little bit of E-Drama, Mr. Jim Wagner, essentially the backbone of BBM's ever-growing RBSD section, has his reputation on the line as

A most disturbing thing happened in Brooklyn, according to a writer for the Canadian Free Press who was held captive by enforcment goons for a Mosque in a Muslim neighborhood (via Michelle Malkin).
Now, if this did happen, then the NYPD are going to have to be frowned upon for letting these sort of things go on without taking action against the offenders. I'd suggest that NY citizens who shocked

This new estimate says the heating potential of black carbon is three to four times greater than prevailing estimates. The main sources of human-produced black carbon are: combustion of fossil fuels (coal and diesel), and burning of biomass, either outdoors, such as burning crop residues, or indoors for cooking. The study, released last week in the journal Nature Geoscience, says that soot and other forms of black carbon could have as much as 60 percent of the warming impact of carbon dioxide (see Figure 1). The UAE economy has achieved significant growth record of 7.4 percent in 2007 over the previous year, with the gross domestic product (GDP) touching Dh.698bn, announced the UAE Ministry of Economy.
As per the Ministry's report, the biggest contributor to the UAE's GDP is the fast emerging real estate sector. During 2007 the real estate contributed 8 percent to the country's GDP, with an
Urmila Matondkar – the major contributor in Ram Gopal Verma’s films.Urmila Matondkar had acted in experimental roles for the last 15 years. But the viewers remember her more in scary characters created by Ram Gopal Verma. She acted as a child artist in Masoom, in 1983. She showed her innocence in the character as she was the daughter of Shabana Azmi who liked to play with her step-brother played by Jugal Hansraj. She gave good lips in the song “lakri ke kathi” composed by RD Burman. She stormed bollywood films with her performance in Ram Gopal Verma’s Daud, opposite Sanjay Dutt. It was serio-comic film which was based on a stolen property. Both Sanjay and Urmila travelled in different places and were chased by thiefs for the stolen property. The story was straight forward, but the

Did you know that the main inspiration for one of modern Christianity’s foundational assumptions is Plato?
You heard that right.
It isn’t the Bible, Jesus, the early Christians, or even first century Judaism. It was the Greek philosopher Plato. And that certainly doesn’t bode well, because Plato was a complete nutball.
It’s from Plato that we get the idea of the Philosopher-King as the perfect government man could have. In other words, he was an advocate of tyranny and dictatorship. Plato, like most politicians today, thought that nearly everyone (except himself, of course) was a complete and total moron and therefore didn’t know how to take care of himself.
To add to the list of bad ideas, he proposed the idea of fiat currency, saying that the money used by the state should be “of no worth amongst the rest of mankind.” We can see how well funny money is working out for the United States.
He also liked the idea of limiting freedom by out
As some of you may have noticed, there are times (e.g. last month) that I am not able to update the site. This is due to me being too busy with other things in life. So, to make sure that this does not happen again, I have hired the help of someone else. This person is Anamul Hassan. He is a huge fan of Bangladesh football and I'm sure he will do a great job. He has already begun posting news and features, which you may already be aware of.This is a big step forward for BanglaFootball.net, and I would like to officially welcome Anamul as our first ever Guest Contributor. Also, I am pleased to announce that Google have finally updated their page rankings, and this site has deservedly moved from PageRank 0 to PageRank 4. We are also steadily moving up the search pages (mostly in the top 5) in all major search engines, for the keywords "Bangladesh football".Lastly, to celebrate all the good news, I have finally designed a site banner that I am quite proud of. I hope you all like it too.Pl
I don’t usually give away my secrets to what I have learned about search engine marketing as it relates to selling real estate, but, I will make an exception for a good friend of mine, Eric Blackwell. Eric has taught me a great deal over the past year about search engine marketing and his hard work has paid him dividends with the latest reward of becoming a contributing author on The Bloodhound Blog.
Part of my success in marketing real estate on the internet is due in no small part from what I have learned from Eric and this is a great accomplishment for him. The Bloodhound blog is one of the most read real estate blogs on the internet and I am happy for Eric to get the additional exposure for himself and his business. Keep up the great work Eric and I’ll keep learning how better to utilize the internet to improve service to my clients from what I learn from you.
Well folks, I'd like to welcome a new contributor to It's A matter Of Opinion and his name is SFW.
SFW has his own blog called "Old Misery Guts"which is well worth checking out. He has also been a visitor to this site for quite some time now.
So once again, I'd like to welcome SFW to the Observation Deck fold and wish him all the best for his blogging future!
Everyone say hello to Jen, a new contributor to the blog who would like to share her experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her experience with it has been so positive, in fact, that she's very busy and will not be able to write for us very often, but when she does I think we'll all find it enlightening. Her story can be found on the sidebar, or by clicking here.Again, thank you, Jen, for coming on board.Well, in spite of leaving the building only once today (to walk around the block) so far, I've had an extremely productive day. I don't have my database fixed the way I wanted, but I have reverted it back to a useful state. Also, it's actually good that I didn't go out delivering on the service today because this afternoon I received more work via FedEx, and had I gone out today I would have just ended up covering some of the same areas again, resulting in a waste of time and oh-so-pricey gasoline. So it's all worked out fairly well. I got a lot of little thin
A new season and Insidearsenal are throwing open the doors to offer new sports feature writers the chance to showcase their skills. We welcome regular contributions or one off submissions. Our aim is to provide fellow Arsenal fans with variety of regular topical features including; match reports, fan columns & history content.
We are therefore on the look out for talented and committed supporters to join our writing staff on a voluntary basis.

We are interested to hear from passionate fans who would enjoy regularly writing either opinion or factual orientated features. An ideal writer would have a professional approach and be eager to contribute on a regular basis. It would be preferable if you have written before for a fanzine for example but not essential. What is important that you would be able to produce considered, insightful and informed pieces.
We especially would like to hear from someone who would be interested in writing a daily blog entry for the site.

Debaser has formally invited me to be a contributor on his blog titled "My brain: My friend, My enemy". Like Debaser, I have had my fair share of issues with regard to anxiety/panic, as well as some unrelated physical issues that have most certainly contributed to the anxiety/panic over a span of four years. Frankly, in some respects, the symptoms of anxiety/panic have surpassed those of the underlying physical issues in my case, often by a large margin. Anxiety is known as the "great imitator", and can mimic almost anything that can be conceived by the human mind and manifest itself as seemingly, and very realistic, signs and symptoms. More often than not, such signs and symptoms are misinterpreted as some disease process (where no actual disease exists). The more notable ones involve the cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and neurological systems. However, anxiety does not discriminate, and almost any bodily system may be adversely effected (or, I should add, perceived by
All right, I’m going to get to the point… Earlier I spoke about the opportunity of guest blogging for Super Blogging readers. Now I’d like to do it the easier way, and let you sign up to be a contributor of this blog yourself. Are you up to the challenge? Heh, sorry, it’s just a little more exciting to word it that way. So here’s the details:
If you have the guts, you can register on this blog. Then you can go write an article, assign its proper category (or categories), give it its keywords, etc. After you’re completely finished with your article, you can save it. I will be going through these saved posts and when there is one that has been well proofread and isn’t a topic I already discuss too regularly, it will be posted.
The article has to be about, of course, one of Super Blogging’s topics (blogging tips, making money online, search engine optimization, exposure, internet marketing, traffic generation, and lots more). Don’t bo
Well, I thought I had a contributor but I haven't heard from her, so I'm moving on. SERIOUS inquiries only! I'm tired of people expressing interest and falling off the face of the Earth.Again, what I'm looking for is someone to post much like I do, but has maybe a little more time to devote to the "nuts and bolts" of A/P disorder. What you write about is your business, of course. But I'd appreciate it if the contributor could devote some time to that.As my business here in Dallas gets more and more established, I'm going to have less and less time.So with that out of the way...The photo isn't very intriguing in and of itself, but it's a historical location, you see. This is the fence directly behind the infamous Grassy Knoll, where most people who don't believe the Warren Report figure an assassin was perched. This photo was taken exactly where they supposedly were, although I decided to focus on the writing instead of Elm Street.I have some more photos from the area and
If you are looking for 'flagship content' (the meatier, longer writing on this blog), clicking the Articles link just below the Contrabass Conversations banner will take you to a page listing the fifty or so long-form works on this blog that I have written, with a short summary of the article/essay/story.I am in the process of doing the same thing for all the contributor articles on this blog, so within the next day or two the Articles link will take you to writings from Benjy, Bill Harrison, Eric Hochberg, Nick Hart, Phillip Serna, and all of the other blog contributors. If you'd like to contribute some writing to the blog, simply drop me an e-mail (jsh177@yahoo.com) or leave a comment anywhere on the blog!Related Posts:Auditioning at 54 - BenjyMock Auditions - NickThis New Bass (A Painful Journey) - EricWhy I'm a jazz player - Billsubscribe to the blog - subscribe to the podcast
Rumors of a secret meeting between Senate President David Williams, Senate Majority Floor Leader Dan Kelly and a select group of Kentucky Board of Education members persist - but have also been denied. Now it turns out that Leon Mooneyhan was a $500 contributor to David Williams 2005 campaign (11/11/2005), despite the fact that Williams and Mooneyhan live in different districts. This is not to suggest any impropriety. As senate president, Williams's reach is statewide. I'm sure he does lots of good for lots of folks. The rumor is of a "secret meeting" before the board of education met on Saturday July 14, possibly involving David Webb, David Rhodes, Joe Brothers... All denied.So...it's still just a rumor and shouldn't be believed. Right? But immediately, Leon Mooneyhan's name surfaced as the choice for interim commissioner along with the rumor of the secret meeting. He says he was negotiating with Board Chair Keith Travis for the commissioner's job on Tuesday July 17.On Thursday Jul
The Tourism Industry has once again proven to be a major contributing factor in the consistent growth of the Philippine economy. With arrivals increasing and revenues rising, the Department of Tourism (DOT) is pleased that its efforts have vastly improved the country’s economic landscape, and that it has helped in generating jobs and business opportunities for Filipinos back home. DOT enjoins all Filipino communities in the United Kingdom to be part of the ever-widening effort to project the beauty of our country and attract more visitors to our sun-kissed, friendly shores. As soon as I heard that Bradford Anderson was hosting his first official fan event in NYC, I knew I had to be there. I've been watching General Hospital for almost nine years, but I had never been to a soap opera event before this one. Spinelli is my favorite GH character and the main reason why I look forward to watching the show. Bradford does such a great job of bringing this character to life. He is an incredibly talented actor, and I couldn't wait to meet him. My mom and I watch General Hospital together so I convinced her to come with me to Bradford's event. While we were waiting to check in we met up with Stephanie who I have been talking with on MySpace and her daughter, Rebecca. They are both great!!! The four of us were sitting at the same table and we had fun talking while we waited for the event to begin. I was so excited when Bradford walked into the room! He made everyone feel welcome right away. He is so cute and charming. The event began with a question and

Top Hillary Campaign Contributor has Terrorist Connection
By Tom Fitton | May 23, 2007
Hillary Clinton recently crowned Palestinian lobbyist Hani Masri, as one of her coveted “Hillraisers,” for bringing more than $100,000 into her presidential campaign in the first quarter alone. Marsi, who also hosted a secret $50,000 fundraiser at his Washington, D.C. home for Hillary’s Senate 2000 campaign, was a close associate of the late Palestinian terrorist leader Yassar Arafat. Arafat was responsible for the murder of Americans and thousands of other innocents, including children.
This is not the first time Hillary has accepted funds from a source with ties to terrorism. In 2000, the Clinton campaign was forced to return a $1,000 contribution from Abdurahman Alamoudi, who is now serving a 23 year prison sentence for reportedly laundering money from Libya to fund terrorist
Huffington Post Contributor: Sharpton, Clinton, Hypocrisy, And ImusExcerpt:"There's a lot of hypocrisy going on with this Imus mudslinging. Hillary Clinton ">said yesterday of Imus, "I've never wanted to go on his show and I certainly don't ever intend to go on his show, and I felt that way before his latest outrageous, hateful, hurtful comments." None-the-less she has no problem attending a fundraiser hosted for her by Rupert Murdoch. If anyone was responsible for hateful hurtful comments in the media it's the Fox News Channel founder. Well, paraphrased. Slate.com columnist Timothy Noah turned to SOTU contributor Benjamin Lowe to clear up a few things about Wikipedia; Ben then gave his views on the media-’pedia interaction, and then Tim Noah gave his views on Ben’s views, which Ben replied to with his views on Tim’s views on Ben’s views on Tim’s views on Wikipedia and the media….

Hello MS readers!I am your latest addition as a contributor to your site, nice to meet all!I actually stumbled upon MS a few days ago whilst looking for a scholarship in Malaysia, and i was very impressed how well maintained the site is since finding it genuinely revolving around student issues- I need to be part of this game! I am Carrie Lim, an architectural student studying in London. My education background in Malaysia is rather a humdrum just like any of you have gone through. Primary schools were all in Malacca- Yok Bin Primary, Cheng Primary & Pay Chee Primary (Mind you, was not kicked out- a good student always =p; high school was in Chung Hua Seremban (express class 3 years) and final year in Sri Cempaka Kuala Lumpur (under scholarship); Cambridge A Levels Programme at Taylor’s College Subang and later I did Diploma in Architectural Technology also with Taylor’s, twinning with Melbourne University. I felt the need to mention the above because it just shows that we have bee
