Over the last 5 or 6 years, 100's of CMS (content management systems) have come and gone. Only the tried and true persist in today's highly competitive open source community. Today, we are going to tackle the topic of who's who and what's what when it comes to the big players in CMS. I will start by saying that every system has its pros and cons. Each CMS has its own community backing it, therefore they usually focus on different areas of demand. Recently the biggest players have been sneaking in on each other and are really becoming superstars in the realm of CMS. Let's take look at the top dogs:
