Every day it gets harder and harder to write pieces for this blog. Day in and day out I watch as the islamic enemy continues to tear apart the fabric of countries all around the world while those same countries come up with excuses and justifications so they don't have to confront the threat they face.
Freedom of speech is replaced by hate speech laws. State and national courts are being slowly

I am in the process of consolidating my old PT notes and most of them needs more than just dusting. I suddenly recollected it's tucked away more than a decade ago. Books? Where are they now? Oh, they're at the old cabinet where all sorts of old stuffs are stored. While scanning at my "Jurassic" notes, it would seem impossible to recall any of them let alone memorize and ingest these data in a short span of time. Amazingly, I began to softly murmur mnemonics. I recalled the origin, insertion, action of muscles, brachial plexus, pulmonary volumes, special test, Goniometry, and all else PT-related. Imagine hooking yourself up to a supercomputer and downloading data at lightning pace...hmmm...well that's exaggerating but that's good news for me at the moment. Knowing there are tons of new to
Last night Z and I found ourselves discussing our futures. As many of you know, once she turns 18 I’m moving to New Hampshire in order to live amongst liberty lovers and avoid as much government interference in my life as possible. Montana was another option for me to attain that same [...]
So if a heavy hurricane season, like the one that gave us Katrina was supposedly caused by Global Warming, what do we attribute the last two hurricane seasons to? There were no hurricanes to speak of that hit land in the U.S.. Is that Global Warming too? And if so, what does that say about Global Warming? Just wondering.

Good morning, world. It’s 7:40am and I’m here in the Ateneo typing the early wee hours away inside the RSF. Blame it on my two early-bird sisters, who made me wake up at 5:30 for a 9:30am class. So, what best way to waste time than contemplative blogging 101.
First of all, let me thank all those wonderful people who commented at my previous emo-ridden entry. To those who txted and expressed their concern, let me just say that all of you guys really helped lift my spirits up. I would want to hug y’all. haha. It’s amazing how you guys tried to interpret what I said, and found it in you to relate to me and my drama-queen-esque mode. I think I’ve perfected (or at least close to) the subtle way of expressing my raw and assertive emotions discreetly and vaguely.
Right now, I’m better. I’ve been striving for positive vibes, and at least now, I think I know where to get them from. Of course, I still think I’m pretty much unstable – rela
You're here and that is all that matters.
Such a short period of time is forever
and we shall wait for the next one as it approaches.
Stolen moments - they're never stolen to begin with.
Reclaimed moments - that's more like it.
They're ours.
Nothing can stop us now from moving forward.
In the meantime we half-heartedly pull in between us a veil of fiber-optics and lenses
The following journal excerpts were written in Cahuita, Costa Rica on Monday, May 16, 2005:

I saw some hummingbirds earlier. I was chilling in a hammock. Senses fully awake:
Sight - the palms, sky, clouds, morning sun
Hearing - the crashing ocean waves, birds chirping
Taste - the salty air
Smell - the sea air again, the plant life
Touch - the feeling of the slightly damp hammock against my back, the light breeze, warm sensation of sun on skin
I imagine this is how it’s like on the beaches of Thailand, Bali, etc. I am reawakened to the possibilities of life, travel, community, humanity, compassion, companionship, love, laughter, present moment, awareness. So much to take in. An assault on the senses. One can only surrender and breathe it all in. Tactile – touch – important in travel and exploring. Grab the earth, take off your shoes. Feel, experience.
….And me? I’m working, though, reminded of unfulfilled time in the world, backpacking – fre
It would probably take a whole post…may be more to convey the message in the cartoon…so I will just leave you guys to savor it in your own way. If you know of any good source of money related cartoons, please feel free to share.
Moving on to some interesting articles of the week.
The Dangers of Financial Paralysis - And How To Get Out Of The Rut by Trent @ The Simple Dollar. Learning from his experience, Trent proposes a 6-step plan to get into action to improves your finances. Sometimes I wonder if it is more of a financial “inertia” than a “paralysis”. It’s not like people don’t do stuff….they do it, but they just want to keep doing what they have been doing all along….even if that’s what got them in the rut in the first place.
