Anyone who knows me personally and has ever met my parents knows that my Mother is a packrat and my Dad was a neat freak. You could tell immediately which corner of each room was my Dad's, because amongst the piles of books, paperwork, chip bags, and junk mail, would be a small, spotless space, where "there was a place for everything, and everything was in its place."What does that mean for me?I'
I don't know about you, but I can't remember half of what I learned in history class. I can't remember the passages from Romeo and Juliet, Ceasar, or Beowulf that we were forced to memorize in highschool. And I have no idea what our guest speakers were blabbing about at graduation.I can, however, remember in great detail every movie quote that ever made me giggle. AND, I can annoy any unfortunate
There comes a time in even the nicest person's life where someone pisses you off to the point where you spend ridiculous amounts of hours plotting revenge. Myself, I have wonderful mental images that will pop up even when I'm talking to a person that annoys me. Sometimes they come at random times completely unannounced, and I float off into my happy place at very unfortunate times. This is why I
Yea, I might already have a Conspiracy Theory #34, I don't care.God help me if I ever try to compile my ramblings and put them in numerical order. *shudder*Today's subject of my senseless rambling, in case you didn't already tell from the title, has to do with the genes our children inevitably inherit that you really sometimes wish you could just suck out and inject into the children of someone y
You all know there are plenty of things that annoy me, or just plain piss me off due to the sheer stupidity of the matter....and yes, I know that I spend WAY too much time blogging about things that annoy me and piss me off due to the sheer stupidity of the matter. But guess what? Look to the left of your screen. See the name there? SANDRA. Sandra's blog. I have an insane amount of opinionated aggr

So it's been a while... Not just for the blog, but for the working out and dieting. Happily, I didn't gain any weight while going nutters with food and sitting around watching TV instead of working out. Sadly, and obviously, I didn't lose any weight either. Monday was official "back-at-on-the-program" day.
It didn't go well.
In the middle of working out to my new step aerobics exercise video with my fancy new step ordered off of ebay, I look up to discover my two-year-old has SOMEHOW managed to find a Sharpie and colored ALL OVER the adorable little kitchen we got for them. ALL OVER. So I stop my tape, grab the marker, put the boy on his bum in the corner, and grab a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. No use. It's scribbled up, and it won't be coming off any time soon. Now I am too mad to work out,
I’ve recently read about how the state republican parties are trying to change the rules to eliminate Ron Paul supporters from the ranks of the delegates. Surprisingly (as a Ron Paul supporter) I find comfort in this report. At least the Ron Paul detractors finally admit there may be more than a couple supporters and that they are everywhere.read more | digg storyLiberty Central- Conservatism's Blog of Choice
The Chinese government either does not seek to listen to what the world is saying about what happened in Tibet or it deliberately is seeking to blame outside forces as being responsible for widespread anger at the violence in Tibet. Chinese authorities now claim the entire world wide expression of anger was organized by the [...]
Indian Jewelry may originally have been Swarm of Angels, but this track’s saw-tooth synth is the sound of an army of bees descending on Houston at rush hour. Roll up your windows, you Suburban-driving suburbs-dwelling commuter moms, or you’re gonna get stung.

Paikea, Snowy and lots of others - including me - are worried about the nutters on the religious right. But on this Sunday morning I have been hit by an epiphany. They are about to loose power and what grip on reality they ever had will slide wit...

I don’t normally subscribe to conspiracy theories, mostly because they tend to be come from people who don’t want to take responsibility for something or another, but this one dawned on me today.
The market reactions to the credit crunch seems rather irrational, (see Been Stien), unless one realizes that in these types of corrections the money investors loose just doesn’t dissapear. Someone is making money when they sell. And, in my opinion, the only people who have the ability to move markets the way we saw in the end of July or after 9/11/01 are the institutional investors.
I don’t know the law, or what goes on behind closed doors in these institutions, but it is really hard to believe that organizations whose buisness is mortgages and risk management could not see at least the possibility something like this could happen. I think it is at least possible, if not likely, that some of these organizations used this opportunity to cash out on record high mar
General Fouad Alam , a living legend in the Egyptian Security , this man was from those who were working in the State security when its name was the anti-Religious activities board in 1960s , a long history with the Muslim Brotherhood and the Political Islamist groups he Worked with three different Presidents and he is considered from the enemies of the human rights organizations in Egypt , the man is already can be sued for endless torture crimes This man became an expert in security affairs especially the so-called "Islamist" terrorist group ,I can not deny that this man is a real living encyclopedia , yes he got a black history I wrote about before ,still when he speaks about international terrorism we should listen to him Alam in the annual anniversary of 9/11 which made him a regular guest in all Arabic channels had his two cents about the terrible act that changed the course of history He is totally convinced that 9/11 is not the handmade of Al-Qaida , it is beyond their capa
Don't you just hate 9-11 conspiracy theories?conspiracy: con + spirare, from the Latin. To breathe together. _____________________________There are no coincidencesThe Coincidence Theorist’s Guide to 9/11-That governments have permitted terrorist acts against their own people, and have even themselves been perpetrators in order to find strategic advantage is quite likely true, but this is the United States we're talking about. -That intelligence agencies, financiers, terrorists and narco-criminals have a long history together is well established, but the Nugan Hand Bank, BCCI, Banco Ambrosiano, the P2 Lodge, the CIA/Mafia anti-Castro/Kennedy alliance, Iran/Contra and the rest were a long time ago, so there’s no need to rehash all that. -That was then, this is now! -That Jonathan Bush’s Riggs Bank has been found guilty of laundering terrorist funds and fined a US-record $25 million must embarrass his nephew George, but it's still no justification for leaping to paranoid conclusi

My friends at Magnasquids (the movie is here) brought to my attention a conspiracy movie claiming to show that all religions; including Christianity, (but not Islam, oddly); descend from the ancient zodiac. Basically, they used the Egyptian god, Horus, himself a personification of the ancient zodiac, as inspiration for their own theology and God origin. The movie, not content with a mere academic discussion of religious origins, however, goes on to discuss how we were all fooled by Bush and Co. during and after the Twin Towers attack of 2001 (the lying "9/11 Truth" movement) and even bring up that old chestnut, the Federal Reserve Bank.
I was immediately skeptical for a couple of reasons. First, just like I wouldn't buy a car from someplace called "Honest Jack's Car Emporium" I immediately distrust any movie that claims "everything you know is a lie, UNTIL NOW." Y
Over the years Sim City has seen a lot of crazy and improbable things happen. The most recent proves that sometimes conspiracy theories, no matter how far fetched, are sometimes reality.
Over the last several months, eccentric millionaire and long time resident of Sim City, Mr. Douglas Clayton, has been telling anyone that would listen to him that KSIM radio launched a spy satellite just to spy on him. Mr. Clayton’s history of conspiracy theories in Sim City is notorious. The irony is that it was by conspiracy theories that he made his 1.2 million simoleons.
He was the first resident of Sim City to spot an alien spacecraft over twenty years ago. It was that UFO sighting that inspired Douglas to invent the EMF Helmet, or Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie, to block out alien mind control devices. It was the EMF Helmet that made him rich. It took him less than a half hour to make each one and he would sell them on sBay for 20 simoleons each to others who believed in the alien ab
one of two things: the bush administration really doesn't want to deal with anything "sensible," especially about drugs and students, or bush plans on finding a way to stay in power for twenty more years...or maybe both [*chill*].
So last night I was driving home from my girlfriend's house around 1:20ish AM and I was listening to ESPN 710 (Bismarck). Let it be known right now before I slam what I heard that I don't like ESPN Radio in the first place. I like Mike & Mike in the Morning and The Dan Patrick Show but that's about it. The rest is trash in my opinion. I much prefer Fox Sports Radio. I don't understand why one would want to listen to Sportscenter when you can watch it on TV. You can even watch Mike & Mike if you want to. Regardless, here it goes....I'm driving home and whichever idiot was in charge (Jason Smith, John Smith...something like that) was talking about the Spurs vs. Jazz game. He was talking about how often the Spurs were at the free-throw line (41 times to Utah's 20) especially in the fourth quarter. Headlining this statistic was the fact that Manu Ginobili went to the line 15 times. Now Manu had a great game. He went for 22 pts. on 4-10 from the field and 12-15 from the line. For
Well, I'm not really sure what "They" are conspiring to do yet, but it will become clear in time. Of course, the "They" is also unclear. But there isn't a conspiracy unless you have a list of dead people with a connection. Here is a list of deaths:1. J. Howard Marshall died on August 4, 1995 (left Anna Nicole a ton of cash)2. E. Pierce Marshall died on June 20, 2006 (died while fighting to keep the cash away from Anna Nicole)3. Daniel Smith died on September 10, 2006 (died when visiting Anna Nicole, her baby, and a potential baby daddy)4. Anna Nicole Smith died on February 8, 2007 (died shortly after being named in the lawsuit against Trimspa)Or maybe there is no conspiracy and the Trimspa killed her. tags: Anna Nicole Smith J. I blow hot and cold about conspiracy theories and I would love to uncover one. There are hosts of websites purporting to reveal the most insidious conspiracies and one of these covert exercises in mind seduction appears to be the Bilderberger Society. This association, for want of a better word, takes its name from a [...]
By nature I am a free spirit...
To me that means that non conformity, skepticism, or dissent are no stranger. It also represents a deep sense of curiosity and desire for search of truth. Personalities like my own (free spirited) occasionally will throw caution to the wind temporarily but are in no way naive' or ignorant. I think our brains just sometimes require a little more stimulus than many other people. We need to seek a thrill every now and then to feel more alive. Some call us foolish, others call us courageous. We are much more likely to respond to conflict through anger than fear. We, however, will never fight for that for which we do not believe in. On the other hand our loyalties run deep when deserved. We know that within truth lies freedom. Death is preferable to being forced to accept untruths.
Many people misunderstand personalities like mine, thinking that we do things to make life harder than it has to be. My observation is that we are greatly disliked by those mo
Conspiracy TheoryI was just checking out instyle.com to see their Look of the Day, which was this:Now, I can take or leave Christina Milian (though sometimes I lean more towards leave), and I don't generally condone satin as a dress fabric, nor am I fan of puffed sleeves, but I think that this is a cute dress. Granted, the ruching across the boobs is weird, but it's got a nice structure to it, flattering cut, fun color, etc. Which is why I clicked on the link next to it which said "Get the dress" and was linked to anthropologie.com.I like Anthropologie -- I've gotten a WICKED cute cocktail dress from them before, which I dearly love despite it needing crazy amounts of alterations because their size chart is whack. So I don't blame them for the below. But who at InStyle thought that this dress was a close match to the above?! This dress is made out of CORDUROY! When did corduroy become a close cousin to satin? And where's the structure, the detailing? Basically, the only thing I se
