New York MC Consequence first gained the attention of hip hop heads with his work on A Tribe Called Quest's 1996 album Beats, Rhymes and Life. We recently caught up with him to discuss a solo debut a decade in the making.

I bet you didn’t know that John Legend spits? ‘Feel this way’ is my favorite track off of Con’s album, “Don’t quit your day job” already in stores. Its a feel good joint, and its relevant, I’m sure plenty of y’all have been in the exact same situation that these brothas present in this track.
