TV Squad treated the two hours of the finale as two separate episodes. Me, I saw them as one. One pretty long and uneventful season finale. However I am long winded so I will break this into two posts. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the show and wish it well in FOX hell. Here are the great moments.The episode begins with Cameron riding up on a police motorcycle in the oversized mirror glasses. She looked so much like Robert Patrick's T-1000 from T2. It was an excellent homage to that movie. Cameron shuts down a power grid so she can walk into the police station to retrieve the robotic hand that is in evidence. Not one to argue with my subconscious, I can conclude from my feelings Monday evening that Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles is a good sci-fi show. In fact, after four episodes, each one better than the previous one, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles has "all-time great" potential.

I read Joe DeVito's Kong: King of Skull Island back when it came out from Dark Horse a few years ago (I thought it was a comic, not a bad prose novel) so I figured I'd give the comic adaptation a shot. The novel is idiotic fan-fiction, accentuated with DeVito's fine enough paintings… The problem is, Kong: King of Skull Island isn't a sequel to any of the movies, it's a sequel to the original novel, which is either in the public domain or DeVito could license cheap. I can't remember, but I think that original novel was just a bit of pre-theatrical advertising back in "33. But whatever. The question is whether or not a bad novel can be a good comic book…

You know, back in my day when you had to actually work to find some anime and you’d like whatever you were lucky enough to pick up at some grubby, tiny comic con it was all bootlegs. Sometimes there’d be no subtitles at all and other times there’d be those crappy ones that some kid who knew a little japanese would do - that was the best. In college it changed and with the internet as the new distribution, everyone was into anime because it was so readily had and so well subbed. It seems that the anime industry has just now decided to hate those fansubbers for ruining their business. It is at the same time both completely fathomable and unfathomable that they would take that attitude - unsurprising because hey, it’s easy to blame others for your current problems (see also RIAA, MPAA). But surprising because it was those hardest core of fans making and distributing anime that created the industry here over the past few decades.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is another TV show that I have really been looking for and I highly recommend it. It already got itself a season pass here at Daemon’s TV.
First of all, it’s based on the Terminator movies, and I love them.
Second, I always liked the names Sarah Connor and John Connor, in fact one of my friends had her hamsters named after them (I was like 8 or 9 at the time).
Third, Summer Glau, whom I love as River in Firefly and Serenity and we know Firefly is in my Top 10 All Time TV Shows, is in the TV show.
Finally, Lena Headey (from 300) and Thomas Dekker (from Heroes) are Sarah and John Connor.
Why wouldn’t I watch the show again?

When I was in a band a hundred years ago, we used to tour a lot. We spent an ton of time in the South. Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida. Wherever there was a college, we probably played there. Or at least slept there in some girls dorm room or on the floor of a fraternity house.

I always imagine Tara Connor without the bleached hair, makeup and boobs and I think she would be quite difficult to look at. Not saying she would be hideous, she would still probably look better than a lot of people but I don’t think she would be as easy on the eyes. I personally don’t find her to be very appealing but I know a lot of people must considering she was miss america. I don’t get it, what makes her attractive? she is very unnatural and to be honest, she’s not that cute anyway. She actually resembles a pimple faced NJ slut to me.

One of the most anticipated shows of the fall season, or should I say the new year is the "The Sarah Connor Chronicles". This show will air on FOX on January the 1st of 2008. Off hand trying to guess the best for this show does happen. The actors play their role in this show like the movies only better. This show in my opinion is number three for FOX. This show is just third too two great shows on FOX which is number one "24", and number two " Prison Break". I couldn't believe the amount of action, and the suspense that keeps you wanting more than one hour of this show. I had absolutely no intentions of watching upcoming FOX original series The Sarah Connor Chronicles, as it struck me as a one-trick pony. But after catching a snippet of it on YouTube, you can color me optimistic (see the trailer and link for more clips after the jump)!
On the periphery, I knew that Summer Glau (Serenity) had been cast in the show, but silly me, I didn’t make the correlation. She’s gonna be a kick-ass terminator, so go with her if you want to live! Yeah, she’s gonna be a ‘good’ terminator, but still, she’s a mighty awesome on-screen, ass-kickin’ chick. So, suddenly I’m in.
Paul O’ Connor is the mastermind behind a new photography resource called photographyVoter. It’s a site modeled after digg, but with a strict focus on photography. With his new site now one month old, Paul has agreed to an interview with me. Here is our conversation.
When did the site officially launch? And how long did it take before people found out about it?
The website is up just under one month now. It was something we initially looked at as a methodology of sharing articles/tutorials etc. amongst a group of friends who shared an interest in photography. After a short while and with the knowledge that there was quite a voice for a Photography section on Digg, we decided to make the site available online. To make people aware of the website, we posted on a few forums and were picked up by some bloggers (including Epic Edits). In addition to this, we posted on Digg itself and reddit and the site grew from there.
The site went live under the domain name of diggPhotog
