When I was looking for a good concealer, I did not have time to look into what actually makeup artists recommend and what application tricks they are using. I love concealers....i feel that a concealer is a must for people with imperfect skin.Foundation alone just wouldn't do it.Normally after moisturizer, I will dab on some concealer on spots that i would like to cover. Such spots includes pimples, acne scars, freckles....the dark under eye, eye bags...etc.After concealer will then come the foundation. I will even-out the foundation with a sponge. I used to only use my fingers rather than using a sponge....but recently, i've discovered that you can actually have better coverage and more even spread by using a sponge as compared to the fingers.But of course after this step, the imperfections that we tried to cover up earlier with the concealer will start to show up again.....not to worry.......cover up again with the concealer after foundatio

Also, FINALLY picked up a tube of the very famous Cle de Peau Concealer that EVERYBODY raves about. InStyle has featured it every year in their annual 'Best Beauty Buys'. It is as amazing as everyone says. LOVE it.The consistency is lovely, it goes on creamy and dries matte, has wonderful staying power and very true colors. The best part: the packaging. Touche Magique is a concealer pen by L’oreal made specially for concealing dark undereye circles. It has illuminating properties to brighten the under-eye area. I test drove this after a night of drinks and not sleeping well. It gave me a smooth clear look, like as though I’d just woken up after 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep! Every girl should keep this gem in their makeup stash!! There are only 2 shades available here - 03 and 04. If you are fair 03 will suit you fine.
