      COMPOSITION
Often we class "composition" as the creation and recording of music via a medium by which others can interpret it (i.e. paper or sound). Many cultures use at least part of the concept of preconceiving musical material, or composition, as held in western classical music. Even when music is notated precisely, there are still many decisions that a performer has to make. The process of a performer deciding how to perform music that has been previously composed and notated is termed interpretation. Different performers' interpretations of the same music can vary widely. Composers and song writers who present their own music are interpreting, just as much as those who perform the music of others or folk music. The standard body of choices and techniques present at a given time and a given place

Rule #4 - Composition, exposure and focus
There's no escaping it - your photos should be of high technical quality. This does not mean you must go out and purchase expensive equipment or do a photography degree, but you should acquire some technical skills and pay great attention to the rules of composition (which includes knowing when to break them and how). You should get you exposure just right for the photo. Incorrect exposure is one of the most common mistakes made by photographers, even experienced ones. Usually it is easy to see if a photo is substantially over or under exposed. Check the main elements of your photo in particular – are the colors clear or washed out? Are the details in the shadow areas visible? As to the sharpness and focus - use a high shutter speed and possibly a tripod, depending on the lightning co

About Plant Fertilizer and Their Composition
I normally discuss bonsai, but since bonsai are tree's, that are plants, this subject is appropriate.A plant is composed of four basic elements. The first three are carbon, oxygen and hydrogen. They form a complex protein called albumine. They represent 94% of a plant composition. The other 6% are composed of 13 others elements. These are classified in two categories. The first one being the macroelements and the last being the microelements. The first group, the macroelements, is composed of six components and must be present in greater quantities then the rest. Three (3) of them are most common and are often symbolised by "NPK". They are :Npk - NitrogenNitrogen will promote leaves development and give them a deep green coloration. How meal composition affects fat loss
Insulin and glucagon – the unsuspected keys to successful fat loss Insulin and glucagon play important metabolic roles.Insulin is a storage hormone, promoting the storage of glucose as muscle and liver glycogen and the storage of dietary fat as triglycerides in the adipose tissue.Glucagon is a release hormone. It triggers the release of stored fat and the breakdown of glycogen into glucose.Insulin and glucagon are inversely pared hormones – when one is high the other is low. For this reason storage and release do not occur at the same time. Which process occurs at any given time depends on the insulin to glucagon ratio:insulin levels are higher then glucagon levels => glucose and fatty acid storage occursglucagon levels are higher the insulin levels =>triglyceride release and glycogen

These alternative considerations or breaking of rules - but making it work - appeal to me more than too heavy a reliance on the rule of thirds. The painting above, by Paul Klee is a 'field' painting' - the composition is overall, the eye travels around enjoying the glowing colour that he creates by juxtaposing complementary colours, subtle greyed greens enhancing the oranges/reds/pinks. Most of the image is composed of the various greens, greeny browns and khakis, with accents of the warm colours. When working this wa

And i found it as i published below to share with other,it is very simple explanation to understand. “If you, an artist, the one who cannot manage figures, you look like an orator who cannot manage words.” Leonardo da Vinci DEFINITION OF COMPOSITION Composition is defined as the combining of distinct parts or elements to form a whole. In photography that definition is very important in taking quality pictures. The following rules of composition should be learned and considered but not necessarily used in every photo. Once you have learned these rules you will be more observant of the possible photo opportunities that surround you. But keep in mind that the really famous photographers usually find a creative way to stretch or break the rules of composition. (more…)

Digital Camera Tips - Beginning Concepts of Picture Composition
By: Christine Peppler There are many great digital cameras on the market that allow users to take control of elements such as focus, exposure, lighting, and so forth. However, for the majority of consumers, a simple point and shoot camera is the device of choice. Although understanding and using appropriate lighting is critical to produce quality shots even with these cameras, basic picture composition must be the first consideration. If the composition of the image captured is poor, then great lighting, perfect exposure, and so forth will not remedy the problem. There are a number of "rules of composition" that can be studied but understanding and employing just a few basics will allow even less committed amateurs to produce more enviable images. • Identify your subject. Every picture should have a single point of interest or subject. Trying to capture an entire scene of activity often produces less than desirable results. It is generally better to focus on individual elements so tha

The exposure was right on, it was centered, and in my hurry not to make anyone wait any longer for me, I only took the one shot. During the processing of this image, I soon discovered its shortcomings. The biggest problem - the horizon was tilted just a bit. No problem, we can fix that - need to keep all those horizontal and vertical lines nice in straight with an image of this kind.Well, straightening the lines means cropping afterwards to get the picture square again. Yikes - upon doing that, I lost the top of the roof! And the lens distortion for this wide angle shot was even more pronounced now that I had closed in on the building.Since I only took the one shot, this was the best I could do for this image. I have been concentrating lately on exposure compensation and bracketing, but upon viewing an image like this, it remind

It is a visual process of organizing the elements and individual details of a scene into a balanced and pleasing arrangement. Because what one person finds pleasing, someone else will not, composition is largely a matter of personal taste. There is no right or wrong composition in photography. A composition that conveys a photographers intended meaning is an effective one. A composition that does not or that confuses the viewer is not. There are certain rules of composition that most photographers agree will make the best pictures. However, the word rules is used loosely here as they are intended to simply be guidelines to take great pictures. They are based on recreating similarities in the make-up of many different images that many people have found to be esthetically-pleasing. Still Life Composition for Stock
Arranging still lifes or single objects for photographing is an important part of stock photography.Placing the objects on a pure white background, or sometimes a black background, gives the object an isolated appearance which is very desirable with the designers who purchase the images. It is not an easy thing to keep the background pure white. I have found that overexposing the image a bit seems to help with the "gray" that tends to seep into these isolated backgrounds. Also in post processing, it is easy to remove some of the flaws in the background. This takes time and experience to master. The lighting needs to be just right also, or shadows will be cast by the objects. The designers do not want these shadows, so moving the lights around will help eliminate them for the most part. The lights can create glare or overblown highlights on some objects, so you need to be careful where the lights are placed to avoid this problem also.It is all a big experiment to get all the technical a

We skipped all the favorites we’ve come to know and love and opted for an altogether different trip than either of us had experienced - different hotel, different bars, different experiences, and a whole new part of town. We saw everything for the first time together. It was like an entirely different city. We took our cameras everywhere. We spent a heapin’ helpin’ of our time snapping photos and really getting to know each other our cameras. Travis Weller: Music Composition, A Love Affair With Sound
I am a high school band director that loves sound. I love to teach it. I love to manipulate it. I love to listen to it.  I also love to create it.  The invitation to write about something that I am very passionate about is an honor, and also very humbling.  As far as composition goes, I am still in my infancy when I consider what I have written compared to the likes of Alfred Reed, W. Francis McBeth, and Clifton Williams.  Even compared to the current composers led by Camphouse, Boysen, Hilliard, Hazo, Gillingham, Giroux, Mahr, Melillo, Stamp, Ticheli…..it would not be proper to place myself on it. I write music to honor those composers whose music speak to and inspire me to grow and develop as an educator and a musician, and to share my voice with a new audience that will hopefully inspire a future composer. Over the Christmas break of 2003, I made a personal decision to resume composing so that I could keep an active role in music as an educator, and writing was

The other reason is that you can get some pretty interesting compositions this way without spending much time, once the pieces are drawn and cut out. Composition
Yesterday's Corner Time: 2 Minutes. I'm not quite sure of the exact timeline but I think it goes something like this: First there came Baby Mozart. Then there was Big Mozart. Sometime after that came a couple of chaps called Lennon and McCartney. They were in the Beatles. I like Beatles but I prefer spiders. Anyway, I digress. I'm not quite sure what that means but Dad says I do it a lot. I think I might be doing it again right now. I just can't help myself. Any available opportunity and off I go, digressing. Anyway, before I do it again, the Beatles wrote some good songs as did Baby Mozart. Big Mozart was alright but not really my cup of tea. Well, I've now followed in their footsteps and penned my first composition. I'm quite proud of it and I don't think I'd be exaggerating too much if I referred to it as a masterpiece. Admittedly, some of the imagery could be considered to be basic and I've repeated some of the verses but all in all, I think it demonstrates my gen
