Take a step back in time to Commodore 64 time now on Windows Mobile
The years 1982 to 1983 were a banner time for gamers and geeks alike across the globe with Lotus 1-2-3, Pioneer 10 leaves our solar system, the Nintendo goes on sale in Japan, Reagan’s “Star Wars” Strategic Defense Initiative, Microsoft Word, and of course let’s not forget the Commodore 64. Why is he rattling on about [...]

      Un Commodore 64 per Twitter.com ?
Techcrunch pone domande sulle risorse techiche di Twitter perennemente semi down … Is it true that you only have a single master MySQL server running replication to two slaves, and the architecture doesn’t auto-switch to a hot backup when the master goes down? Do you really have a grand total of three physical database machines that are [...]

      A Tribute to Commodore
Recently I found some interesting videos on youtube from the Amiga time, and the memories just kept coming. If you are like me, you’ve probably have tried playing those popular guitar games like Guitar Hero and/or Rockband and have become completely addicted to them.

Estoy teniendo prob

Queen Victoria Offers Sneak Peek of the Commodore Club
Keeping with the practice of issueing teasers on the new Queen Victoria, the latest photos are of the Commodore Club, highlighted by sweeping views over the ship’s bow, murals of past Cunard liners in custom porthole displays and two intricate ship models at the entrance. As one eases slowly into the room, the nautical atmosphere and Old World liner elegance will be enhanced by leather sofas and club chairs amid wood inlaid flooring with a compass design. Nightly live music, martinis shaken tableside and an atmosphere of understated glamour reminiscent of the Golden Age of Ocean Travel will have guests enjoying the retreat to this cozy enclave. For Cunard enthusiasts, the Commodore Club will no doubt be a popular gathering place aboard the line’s new ship.

Holden VE Commodore SS Police Car
Even the cops in Australia have it over us. While we wait (impatiently) for the Pontiac G8 to start rolling off transport ships originating from the island continent sometime next year, the new VE Commodore is now entering fleet duty as a police interceptor. Holden released a trio of shots showing full-dress VE Commodore SSes ready for duty on the undoubtedly long stretches of road running through the Outback in Australia's Northern Territory. Boy, we would burn through a lot of gas if we were Australian police officers on patrol out there with one of these as the "company car."[Source: Autoblog]Continued- More images

      Commodore Is Back!
The Commodore brand, one of the most prolific brands in computing history, is making a comeback into the home computing space as a maker of “boutique” PCs in the same vein as Alienware and VoodooPC. Commodore were one of the key companies (some might argue THE key company) in bringing state of the art computing to the masses with a line of revolutionary hardware in the 1970s and 1980s, with computers such as the Commodore PET (the first truly plug and play computer), the Commodore 64 (the computer that wiped out it’s competition in the low end gaming space inside of 2 years in the US thanks to great hardware at a low price) and the Commodore Amiga (technologically years ahead of it’s time, capable of true multi-tasking, advanced video effects and a meaty piece of gaming hardware too!). Commodore succumbed to some very poor management in the mid 90’s and since has been through a couple of owners that didnt do the brand justice and used as a brand on micro
