RSS reports arrive from far-flung places like Puerto Montt, Tokyo, Cairns, Siem Reap, Cappadocia and Durban. Each post brings a new adventure, a new lesson or a [...]

Maybe Comings, Possible Goings, Cesc Is The King Of Cool
It seems this morning that Arsenal is a popular tourist destination with the media, if not necessarily the players themselves. Current Euro2008 pin-up boy Andrei Arshavin is leaving St Petersburg for a measily £10m (or an over-inflated £10m if he fails to deliver the goods for his new employers) and any comments Arsene makes are [...]

Hleb, Nasri, Other Comings, Goings And The Future With A Dash Of Fiszman Thrown In
Back in the fold of summer transfer rumours having crossed as many rivers of water in the house as Jimmy Cliff once had to. Starting with the obvious, I find the situation surround Alexander Hleb disappointing but also inevitable. It has been coming since he shared a pistachio ice-cream with various nefarious characters in Milan [...]

      Possible Comings And Goings
It seems that the transfer of Bakari Sagna will be formalised over the next day or so, perhaps even by the time you read this. At the same time, reports are emerging that the Club is preparing to part company with Justin Hoyte, willing to listen to offers at around the £2m mark. Whilst I can see the logic in parting with one or maybe more of the four right backs that would be at Arsenal - Sagna, Hoyte, Gilbert and Eboue - the choice of Hoyte to leave seems a strange one. Of the two Englishmen, Hoyte is the more experienced so if these reports are true, it suggests that Gilbert is perceived as the better long term bet. The departure of Hoyte would also appear to cast doubt that Eboue is being earmarked as a potential right midfielder, competition for Walcott and Hleb. However, these reports have one dark cloud over them in that the player has signed a new long term contract earlier this year which seems on the face of it, to be at odds with the decision to dispense with his services. The Comings and Goings of Jesus
As many of you know, I am a Presbyterian pastor. I am also the calendar keeper for Jesus in our sector of the galaxy. I keep track of Jesus's appointments for all the planets around our Sun and the other 999 stars nearest to us. It isn't easy, but I love my job.My job isn't nearly as difficult as Jesus's job. He has to come and go to every planet twice. If you want to know what an ordeal that is check out the Galaxy Song. But that isn't a billionth of it. His schedule is full, and I mean jam-packed. He is always on the go. The angels keep telling him to slow down, but he is a man on a mission. As you know, the big news for us is that Jesus is scheduled to return to Earth for his second coming on July 7th, 2007. I am so excited! He was of course, scheduled to come a lot earlier. Paul, who had a vision, thought Jesus would come in his lifetime. Jesus kept telling him, "Paul, I don't think I am going to make it that soon." But, Paul, as always, a bit stubborn,

      Comings and Goings
We had some upheavals at the restaurant in the last week. Afterher 'medical' drama last week, Tiffany is no longer employed atthe restaurant. She never produced a medical note or doctor'sexcuse for her alleged ailments, verifying what we all alreadyknew, that she was lying. No surprise. I only hope it will send amessage to a couple of our other drama queens who have adistant relationship with the truth (but I doubt it). Then ourhostess with the mostess, Tina (and her silicone orchestra!) maybe on the way out. Her husband's work schedule has changed, notallowing her to work 2 weeks a month, as someone needs to stayhome with the 3 kids. Not sure if working 2 weeks on, 2 weeks offwill be manageable schedule-wise, time will tell. This now allowsour favorite ex-jailbird to display her multitude of talents bybecoming the new hostess with the mostess (and her 'attributes'are the real thing, unlike Tina's!). Yes, the one and only Kathynow moves into a more responsible position within th
