When I left my home, I moved TO the mountains, and that awareness, that sense, dug itself deeper into my very being, all without my even being aware of its existence. Until. Until! Aight, I'm a little bit biased about the Wu. They are my favorite rap group ever. I think they're better than N.W.A. and important than Biggie. The Wu created modern east coast rap. I mean, how many rappers nowadays use the word "cream" as a synonym for money? And producers like Just Blaze and Kanye West have admitted to having been heavily influenced by the RZA. But do the Wu get the respect

I know it is still a ways off, but this brings us one step closer!!!I want to send out a big THANK YOU to my mother and father in-laws. They gave Mikey a homecoming party, drove him around town, took him fishing, and I am sure my MIL cooked some FABULOUS dinners for her boy. It may seem like Nokia is copying Apple by trying to get a touch-based interface out as soon as possible, but it is inevitable that pretty much every device available now will have to go the touch way if they are to pave a better path to the future. S60 Touch is Nokia's endeavor to do just that and it looks like there's a good deal of effort behind it to ensure that Nokia will continue to dominate the mobile market. Here is a video of the S60 Touch in action at Nokia World 2007 held at Amsterdam, Netherlands. Bruce Springsteen - You’ll Be Comin’ Down
It’s been quite some time since my last music post, so I thought I’d liven up things over the next couple of weeks with exclusive recommended top hits from the top albums in 2007. First up on my list, the one and mighty Bruce Springsteen with a hit song from his latest 2007 album, You’ll Be Comin’ Down. To be fair, I said "one" and "mighty" even I haven’t really followed Bruce’s music in the past or even knew of his wide open popularity in the U.S and around the globe. But I came across this album called Magic one day and since I heard his name a lot, I thought I’d give it a try. Bruce is clearly an established icon in the music community. Thirty-five years as a justifiable rock musician affords Bruce Springsteen incredible number of fans and followers all around the world, and for a good reason. His music is a cross between rock and heartland rock. What’s heartland rock? Well it’s that kind of rock music that is

To you, I have only this to say: We would be remiss not to give some credit for yesterday's win to the rally animals, specifically the rallypus, rally squid, and rally daschunds, who stuck it out when the going got rough. Today's game matches up Sean Marshall (4-2, 2.44) and Mark Prior North, Ben Sheets (9-3, 3.09). I won't be easy to get to Sheets. Then again, I didn't think it was possible to get to Cordero, and look  how that turned out. If Tony Soprano were here, he would say "Don't Stop Believin'." Then I would (very politely) ask Tony to pick another song, as those of us on the North Side have a negative assosciation with that songs and a certain ill-tempered, pudgy catcher that promot

The design was made in celebration of the Tipitina’s Foundation 6th Annual Instruments A Comin' Benefit Concert, which was held on April 30, 2007. On the other hand Dirty Coast was recently partnered with Trumpet Group by giving the later a space in Dirty Coast website in order to sell their shirts that celebrate New Orleans.Trumpet's creative team has made 6 great shirts exclusively sold online on Dirty Coast and we're looking forward to seeing what other collaboration may follow.

Guest Comentary: Big and Rich, Comin' to your city
Big and Rich Comin' To Your City Review By Susan Sponable I love music, its fun, and it makes me feel good, and when a cd is done correctly it’s a thing of beauty. Comin' To Your City by Big and Rich was a good cd. It was not a great cd, but it was good. It didn't make me run away screaming, listening to it, but once was definitely enough for a while. So, all in all, the cd itself ranked about a 7 on a ten star scale. Like I said, it was a good cd, but I could have lived without it. As far as music genre was concerned the cd could only be described as a fun country cd. This was definitely not a serious cd, it was more of a road trip, no worries, I'm going to take a day off of work, and I have no responsibilities, kind of cd. Or as they say in their song, "Soul Shaker," it was more of a wham, bam, thank you ma'am, kind of cd. In conclusion, if you like good carefree country music, this is definitely the cd for you. I will warn all my readers though; the last two song

      Draft a’ Comin’
So, we’re on the eve of the NFL draft, and many peoples’ mock drafts have been posted via the intertubes, and for the most part, there are some interesting draft, um, drafts out there. One of the most obvious things I see is that many people have Robert Meachem going late in the first round. I mean, late, like #31 to the Bears late. The receivers that are usurping the Meach? Dwayne Jarrett and Teddd Ginnn, Jrrr. Now, Dwayne Jarrett being an SC receiver, is taking precedence because of his, um, ability to wear crimson and yellow. As a comparison, let’s take a look at the Trojans in the NFL. You’ve got your Keary Colbert (not related to Steven Colbert apparently), you’ve got your Mike Williams of the Lions, and your Keyshawn Johnson. That’s it. Really. Oh wait there’s, no. No, that’s it. I don’t really understand the love affair with Ted Ginn. Okay, so the dude is a pretty good kick returner, but then again, so is Devon Hes

Oh, it’s not shitty? It’s city? Oh. Well, Gameday is going to Columbia this weekend, so perhaps the original one might work? That’s right, I went there. For the two people with internet access all the people in South Carolina who are reading this that might get mad at that comment, I have to admit, I’ve never been to Columbia, and although I’m sure it’s nice, I mean, it’s in South Carolina. What does that have anything to do with anything you ask? Well, nothing, but I just thought I’d fuel the fire with the Cocks. Gameday doesn’t ususaly go to SEC games anymore (because abc doesn’t let them), but as the season has trodded on, they have slowly been able to gain some of their cajones back and have gone to games that other networks were covering, like they used to. Someone at Disney is mad about that, and is telling Pinocchio some lies to cope with it if you catch my drift. (You know, there were more porn-esque Pinocchio

All they do is win ball games.  This years version of the Minnesota Twins is different than the previous Central Division winners.  The difference is determination.  I’m not sure where the motivation for this comes from…  Possibly the death of Kirrrrrrbbbbyyyy Puckett?  Possibly to prove the critics wrong?  Possibly to make up for their HORRIBLE April and May?  Either way, it looks as if this is the Twins year.  Even though there are three series left prior to the end of the year, it looks as if our team will make it to the playoffs. Let’s review what has happened to the Twins thus far. - We started the year with guys named Batista and Rondell.  We finally parted ways with Batista in June.  In the place of those guys are Nick Punto and Jason Bartlett.  Both have done a great job filling in and Bartlett has secured his spot as our shortstop of the future.  Punto has an amazing glove but I feel that he will be replaced next year and sent back to his “u
