Is Your Own Personal “Comfort Zone” Holding You Back?
Recently a start-up social marketing Silicon Valley executive was quoted as saying “If you are comfortable when you launch your site you waited too late.” In other words, if one felt comfortable then this secure, comfortable feeling was an indication that one had fallen behind the innovation curve, a detriment to success. Reach out beyond your comfort zone…
Something I believe is truly valuable in life is to reach out to others, new ideas and new experiences. Getting out of my comfort zone
This week, I am attending trainings in order to be authorised in selling insurance products. The training session lasts from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and it would be quite relaxed if that was the only thing I had to do. However, I had to finish up some work at my ex-employment and the few hours of commute [...]

      Out of my comfort zone
I've gone quite crazy with the shoppage lately. Yesterday I went with a friend to a Guess warehouse sale. It was the third day of the sale, and being Saturday it was a complete chaos. Stuff was being picked over and over. Considering the slim pickings, I still managed to get quite some stuff, a canvas bag with patent accents, a dress, a couple of skirts and tops. So today I'm wearing this hot pink silk Marciano pencil skirt in the high-waisted corset style. It's definitely not something I would wear normally. My guy loves it, he thinks I should step out of my comfort zone more often.

      My Comfort Zone
My family and I went to church yesterday. We go most Sundays in a month, but sometimes I get really lax about it and I'm the one who has to keep everyone moving so we can get to service on time...so if I'm lax, we watch Joel Osteen on TV and read a Bible story to Jay. It always amazes me (I'm slow) that when God gets my full attention, like He did during service yesterday, He gives me all kinds

stretching out of my comfort zone
So. I'm taking the wardrobe refashion pledge, starting in April. I actually signed up yesterday, for two months, but after taking a cold, hard look at my spending habits, I changed my mind and decided to go for four. And with the amount of clothing I have, if I can't live on it for four months, I have issues! Besides, I can still go thrifting. For me personally, I'm going to try to limit my thrifting a bit. (Still deciding exactly what this means.) Also, I'm not limiting my buying for le husband--all his stuff falls under "work clothes" anyway. I just don't do well on thrifting nice men's dress clothes. Shoes and underwear do fall outside the restricted areas, too, but I'm going to see if I can limit the shoes. (Underwear really isn't my downfall. However, if I absolutely have to shop, you never know what I might induldge in. It's the equivalent of gorging on baby carrots: good for you, but only in moderation.) So anyway, we'll see how this goes.

      Comfort Zone? Bah!
I'm a restless kind of person - unless I'm working constantly and learning new things, I get really anxious about the use I'm making of my time. The breeding season is coming to an end and yearlings are next on the list for the Thoroughbred Industry.Of breeding, yearlings and weanlings, the mares and foals are definitely my favourite and with the most variety, I believe. I love this time of season as it covers so much on the care of the horse - medications, feeding, foaling down, getting mares in foal, bandaging, breeding. But, upon the arrival of the other six months of the year, I find myself with heaps of extra time, a pretty set routine and not a lot looking like it'll help me with my goal to become a horseriding instructor and teaching other kids about horses. So - I'm going for a change of scenery - yes, again! Currently, I'm looking to move back home for awhile and have started the search to work in a horseriding school, gain experience in relation to riding and teaching
