As fascinated as I am in home styles, I’m no architect. When I describe the architecture of my listings or homes I am showing, I find it helps buyers appreciate their value. While they both have “old brick homes,” Victorian Village and German Village have very different housing stock. Although I can tell a cupola from [...]

Thousands of people pounce on Columbus come fall during Ohio State’s football season. No longer is it just about OSU football, but now Columbus is gaining notoriety as a “happening urban center.”

Hello, it's Judy Gray. We've got some great commuter suburbs near Columbus Ohio and here's why they're great spots to consider when relocating to the area. Worthington, Dublin, and Powell are all easily accessible to all the good interstate highways and infrastructure in Columbus. They've got outstanding schools, they have great downtown communities with wonderful little boutique shops and restaurants, and all sorts of things to do for families, wonderful recreation centers where all your families can go and enjoy all kinds of different activities. My top-of-mind picks for 3 great places to live around Columbus are Worthington, Dublin and Powell.

Who were the first people in North America? From where did they come? How did they arrive? The prehistory of the Americas has been widely studied. Over 70 years a consensus became so established that dissenters felt uneasy challenging it. Yet in 2001, genetics, anthropology and a few shards of flint combined to overturn the accepted facts and to push back one of the greatest technological changes that the Americas have ever seen by over five millennia.
Val Kilmer plays a thief named John who hides in a park after stealing some goods from an infamous conman. He derives a plan to sell the goods in a deal and move to Florida with cash he makes. While in the park he befriends a socially confident young boy who claims that he is out of school because it's a holiday. Throughout the whole movie, John is trying to rehash broken relationships with his daughter and ex-wife over the phone, hoping they will listen to him now that he will soon be rich. John also realizes that the young boy he befriended has problems with his family and that is one reason he is in the park by himself. Bobb'e J. Thompson plays the young boy in the park. For a thriller this movie is not very thrilling but it does have very good acting on the part of Val Kilmer and Bobb'

Is the question that has to be asked. The Columbus Dispatch has an article on the possible shut down of the Columbus Symphony due to a lack of money and interest. Of course the musicians bemoan the possibility of a musical holocaust. Jim Akins, lead tuba player and a representative of the musicians, has downplayed talk of the symphony's demise, recently suggesting that an orchestra-less Columbus would "lose its soul." "If you lose your symphony, you lose a great deal of what makes a city great," said Stephen Kougias, spokesman for the San Diego Symphony, which disbanded for two years in the late 1990s. "I think you do lose a little bit of the soul of your city." Really? If the symphony withered up and blew away how would it impact the average person in Columbus

On the four voyages of Columbus to the New World which he gave to Castille and to Leon he saw all the larger islands of the Caribbean and coasted along a not inconsiderable part of its shores. Could he have revisited the scene of his discoveries periodically in the three centuries following he would, it is safe to say, have been in many ways greatly disappointed. Instead of the oriental civilizations with their great riches which he had sought to reach he would have found that there were only the primitive Indian tribes such as he had himself encountered. Great riches, though not those of the Orient, he would have learned had been discovered and had been made a source of income to the Spanish crown and its representatives. This wealth had come to light, indeed, soon after he himself had pa
