The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed Dominic Rhodes to a 1 year contract. Rhodes had a rough year with the Raiders, but finished the season strong with 2 games over 100 yards. Look for him to split time again with Joseph Addai. The pair had great chemistry together during their 2006-2007 Super Bowl run.

Peyton Manning threw 4 touchdown passes to lead the Colts over the Jaguars 28-25 for the 2nd time this season. Peyton Manning made 20 of 29 passes for 288 yards and had 4 touchdowns in a match for the 1st time this year. Manning connected twice with Clark and once with both Lawton and Wayne to cap off scoring drives. Brett Favre passed for 381 yards and three touchdowns as the Packers beat the Detroit Lions 37-26 for their sixth consecutive victory. Tony Romo threw two touchdown passes to help the Cowboys to a 34-3 win over the New York Jets, their fifth straight victory.
For the past few weeks the champion Indy Colts had not been playing up to the level we had been use to seeing from them. Thanksgiving night, the team once again looked sluggish at the start, falling behind 10-0 to the lowly Atlanta Falcons in the Georgia Dome. From there though, Peyton Manning and the Colts D took over, and just like that the team seemed to return to form in a 31-13 win.
The Colts have and still are suffering from plenty of injuries, but Thursday night in Atlanta they got back one big piece of the offense, wide out Anthony Gonzalez. He was Manning’s favorite target, catching 105 yards worth of passes. Reggie Wayne had six catches for the now 9-2 Colts for 104 yards and a score.
The Falcons seemed to be playing inspired ball, scoring on their opening drive with a Morten Anderson 34-yard field goal and then QB Joey Harrington hit Roddy White with a 48-yard scoring pass to make it 10-0 in the first quarter. For the fans of the now 3-8 Falcons, that would be about

Heart be still. That’s what has come to mind lately since last week, when Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri missed a clutch field goal last week against the San Diego Chargers. Fortunately for the Colts - and especially Adam Vinatieri - he made a kick when it counted. Vinatieri’s 24-yard FG with only 4 seconds left enabled the Indianapolis Colts to slip past the Kansas City Chiefs 13-10 in a thriller at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis.
The Colts had an unusually unproductive game statistically in the first half, totalling 73 yards. In addition, this game is the first one that Indianapolis failed to score a first-half touchdown. They somewhat turned things around a bit in the 2nd half; with the game tied at 10 with 6:47 left in the game, Colts quarterback Peyton Manning manufactured a masterful drive which ate up a big chunk of the clock before Vinatieri’s game-winning FG.
Indianapolis’ Manning went 16-for-32 for 163 yards with an interception - subpar
