March 24 (Monday) I watched over the news on TV, Bandila, a certain report about former President Corazon Aquino’s having a colon cancer. The sad news was confirmed by her daughter Kris Aquino and Senator Benigno Aquino III to Ms. Korina Sanchez. Mrs. Aquino went for a check up and several tests last March 19 and it was then that the family confirmed on what their mother has suffering from. I felt really sad after watching the news. For me, she was such a fine lady, a true mother and faithful believer of God. Let us join her family as well as millions of people who love and admire her in praying for her speedy recovery. May the healing hands of God be upon her and to other people suffering from any illness.
