The New York Jets have released cornerback Manny Collins from the practice squad. Collins was a nice surprise during training camp and preseason. This move was likely made to make room for E.J. Underwood who the Jets have reportedly signed to the practice squad.

The craziness doesn't stop there- this is a commercial for Cadbury's Dairy Milk chocolate bars. What do ground-dwelling omnivores have to do with chocolate bars you ask? Well, one (read: my) theory is that a very desperate and under-slept advertising executive, charged with the mission to license a song for an "exciting new campaign," mixed up the Gorillaz with actual gorillas. Well, not Petraeus exactly. But the junior senator did talk to NPR about Iraq:"I draw a distinction between a timeline and a deadline," Collins said. "I am for a timeline for changing our mission...What I've opposed is a precipitous withdrawal from Iraq, a hard deadline that is unrelated to what is happening on the ground."Fair enough.At least she's fessing up to her unwillingness to rein in the President.Incidentally, can someone tell me who these nefarious "precipitous withdrawal" advocates are? We came here after a long semester and tough finals to try to get away from it all….and how we have! We couldn’t have asked for a better location, a better staff or a more wonderful experience. This trip has truly been an adventure.We climbed ruins at Tikal, went zip lining and caved through ATM. The guides, Luis, Juice, Francisco and Manuel, showed us the beauty of Belize during the day while the Jungle Dome staff provided us a relaxing retreat in the evening.
