AllHipHop.com talked to Clipse about their time at Jive Records, where they said despite being pretty much banned from their offices, things didn't get too bad. Malice and Pusha-T are now with Columbia Records. Watch the clip below the fold.

Pusha T of the Clipse is responding to some comments in the Complex magazine uncut comments Lil Wayne made at complex.com,

The Clipse will own the masters for its Re-Up Gang artists, Ab Liva and Sandman. Next year, the Clipse will issue a Re-Up Gang album as well as a new studio disc, but for the first time, the latter will not be produced solely by the Neptunes. Instead, the brothers are anticipating working with Timbaland, Danjahandz and Dame Grease. Källa

After a long painful stint with Arista Records which was dissolved into its sister label Jive Records, the Clipse have signed a new 50/50 profit share deal with Columbia Records. The contracts stipulations are that Clipse will own the masters of its artists, Ab Liva and Sandman.  The Clipse have a album slated for release next year which will not be fully produced by the Neptunes for the first time, although they assure that they are on good terms.  They look forward to working with Timbaland, Danjahandz, and Dame Grease to switch up the production on the album.  A Re-Up Gang album is in the work and will be released prior to a full length Clipse album. Clipse Leave Jive Records; Now Free AgentsAccording to a recent interview with group member Malice, Clipse have left JIVE Records and are now free agents. In an interview conducted with Toronto publication Eye Weekly Malice said:"Right now Clipse are free agents. There are a few labels that are interested."JIVE has yet to confirm these claims however the troubles between the duo (Pusha T and Malice) and their label are well documented. In a 2006 interview group member Pusha T said:“I hate Jive with all my heart and all the passion in my soul.” Clipse most recent album "Hell Hath No Fury" was released in 2006 after many delays to huge critical acclaim but lackluster sales. source

Clipse Working On New Mixtape; Pusha Disses Lil' WayneThe Clipse and Lil Wayne have been exchanging words — subliminally or not so subliminally — for some time now, and last week Pusha T added more fuel to the existing fire.
