Ever since the feds raided BALCO and we all learned that Barry Bonds was a cheater, there has been an ongoing debate over PEDs (performance enhancing drugs) in sports. For the most part, the entire country has come to the following consensus: Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Andy Pettitte, Jose Canseco, and everyone who has either tested positive for or been caught up in any of the multiple governmen
Experts say there is more than enough evidence to indict Clemens on federal charges of perjury and to convict him. The gauze and needles would present a public-relations nightmare for Clemens and his lawyers, while Andy Pettitte will testify Clemens personally admitted PED use and corroborate Brian McNamee's testimony that he injected Clemens. Clemens can then move to his new address, hopefully ne

Angela Moyer Angela Moyer, a Realtor in Harrisburg, PA is the third woman in as many days rumored to have had an affair with seven-time Cy Young winner, Roger Clemens. 30-year-old Moyer worked as a bartender in Manhattan from 2000 to 2004, and although she acknowledges she knew Clemens, she has declined to discuss their relationship. Apparently Clemens helped Moyer pay rent on her apartment, continuing to help with her bills after her move to New York in 2000. Clemens also reportedly had affairs with country singer Mindy McCready, and Paulette Daly, the wife of PGA golfer John Daly. His decade-long relationship with McCready began when she was 15-years-old. According to reports, he flew the women around the country on his private jet and bought expensive jewelry for at least one of

The newspaper also linked Clemens to former Manhattan bartender Angela Moyer and Paulette Dean Daly, a former wife of champion golfer John Daly."Even though these articles contain many false accusations and mistakes, I need to say that I have made mistakes in my personal life for which I am sorry," Clemens said in a statement issued by spokesman Patrick Dorton. So Roger Clemens finally made a right move today He apologized for 'making mistakes in his personal life'. Of course he said there were only small amounts of truth mixed in with all sorts of other lies. So he really hasn't made any progress at all has he?I am, was and always will be a Roger Clemens fan. That's Roger Clemens the baseball player. He was a tremendous talent, an exciting pitcher, a good quote and one of the most fierce competitors to every play baseball. That same competitiveness that drove him as a pitcher has destroyed him as a public figure. Let's be up front about something. There are worse things than steroids and adultery. I'm not condoning either but be honest with yourself. Are those things worse than stealing, beating your spouse, drug abuse or DUI? Lying to Congress
Posted on May 1st, 2008 7:49 amFormer baseball star Roger Clemens is piling up humiliating extramarital affairs, as revealed in New York newspapers, like he used to with strikeouts! Swinging, looking, the point remains the same: these women are going down (on Roger)! The only chick this guy strikes out with is wife Debbie! Sorry about the bad baseball jokes. On to the story. Having already been outed as having had long-term affairs with both Mindy McCready and Angela Moyer, Clemens had a relationship with Paulette Dean Daly, a former wife of golfer John Daly, the Daily News says. Clemens, a married father of four, arranged trips to Anaheim Stadium for Paulette Dean Daly to watch him pitch for the Yankees against the Angels. The New York Daily News keeps holding Roger Clemens' feet to the fire. The latest revelation is he had an affair with golfer John Daly's ex-wife, Paulette Dean Daly. As usual, Clemens jetted her around the country for rendezvous', courtesy of Clemens-Ho Airlines. When the newspaper tracked her down she didn't exactly deny it."Yeah, I've known Roger quite a while and we are friends," Paulette Daly said. But when asked if the golfer's ex-wife had ever been romantically involved with Clemens, Daly told the News, "You know what, I'm really uncomfortable talking about this. I'm just going to have to say, 'No comment.'So let's see if we have this right. In February Clemens told Congress he never took HGH, that the only Clemens that took the juice was his wife, Debbie. Debbie must be a drug sniff
A tearful Mindy McCready confirmed to the New York Daily News that she carried on a longterm affair with Yankee star pitcher Roger Clemens. “I cannot refute anything in the story,” the country singer says of reports that she met Clemens in 1990 when she was 15 years old and singing in a karaoke contest at a Florida bar. Clemens, then with the Boston Red Sox, was 28 and a married father of two at the time. "Yes, I have known Roger Clemens for a long time," McCready told the paper in a prepared statement. "He's a kind and caring man.” McCready's father, Tim McCready, told the New York Post that his daughter's relationship with the baseball star didn't turn physical until years after their first meeting, when Mindy's engagement to Lois & Clark actor Dean Cain broke off in 1998. He say

The Daily News drops a bombshell about Roger Clemens and his "SECRET AFFAIR." Their exclusive reports that for a decade, the Rocket had been carrying on with country singer Mindy McCready. This is quite the big scoop, but what I'm really interested in is how the story is presented on the front page. The "SECRET AFFAIR" allegations are shocking enough, but it's curious why McCready's name isn't mentioned on page 1. The photo of her on the front has her eyes closed, and she almost looks like Paris Hilton. Could this be a clever ploy by the art department to sell more papers by making it look like Clemens spent a

Roger, Roger, Roger….Stick a fork in ya buddy, your done! Didn’t your mother ever teach you not to interrupt when someone is speaking to you? Exactly who do you think you are, disrupting a federal official while being under oath? You’re a fraud, a liar, a cheat, and a scumbag. I hope you go to jail and rot away in a prison cell for charges of perjury. Hopefully, for your sake, it will be a humbling experience. Who knows, you might actually learn a few things, perhaps how to take some balls and sticks (whoops, I mean balls and strikes).Your boy, Andy Pettitte even ratted on you and is now corroborating his story with McNamee.Your claim; ‘Andy “mis-remembers” things’.Mis-remembers?? Survivor, American Idol and Big Brother have nothing on congressional hearings. Yesterday gave us four and a half of the best hours of reality television, with Roger Clemens and Brian McNamee squaring in a Washington battle royale where two men entered and only one would leave – with his dignity.

Yesterday morning was the first of the congressional hearings with Roger Clemens and Brian McNamee. As I look at it, both of these guys looked nervous when being questioned under oath. Neither of them could handle the truth or the pressure. But I would have to say I believe McNamee more than I do Clemens. Andy Pettitie said under oath that Roger Clemens told him about using HGH, but Clemens still denies it. He claims Pettite "misremembers". How could Pettite "missremember" something like this? This is a big deal, steroids is a big deal. Something is just fishy here. After being questioned several times especially by Elijah Cummings (House of Rep. D-MD), Clemens looked nervous, he had a look in his face that made him look guilty. Clemens' stories are going to come back and hurt hi
Seriously, can someone explain why he's testifying in front of Congress? Was a senator's son beaned by one of his pitches?I know it involves his alleged use of performance-enhancing drugs. I also understand this is a problem that not only affects the sport of baseball but also the youth of our nation who look up to players such as Clemens. There should be more stringent rules regarding performance-enhancing drugs. But really, we have a war going on, millions of homes are foreclosing, we're either in or about to be in a recession, stocks are taking a beating, the value of the US dollar is low - doesn't Congress have something better to do with our tax money? What's this costing the US tax-payer for the whole steroids investigation? I'd rather see that money in my tax refund!Do I think h

So let me start by saying this....I think Roger Clemens is an okay guy and a fantastic baseball player. Hell, he is probably the best pitcher of his generation. There, I've said it, now let me tell you what I think about his press conference today. I can completely understand that he wants to clear his name and that he holds Brian McNamee accountable for 100% of whats happened. But I find it deplorable that Clemens has decided to get back at the man who ruined his "good" name by ruining McNamees' life. So McNamee sends him an email and says "Hey Rocket, my kid is dying, and I just thought you should know that." Clemens, feeling for his one time friend, calls him back, but not without the TAPE RECORDER on. Multiple times during the conversation, McNamee asks Clemens "what do you want
In an effort to save not only face, but his reputation, Roger Clemens once again denied ever using steroids. From the Baltimore Sun: Roger Clemens posted a video today repeating his denials of the steroids use alleged against him in the Mitchell Report. He also said he would be interviewed for a future episode of "60 Minutes," but a spokesman for CBS said nothing has been finalized. The seven-time Cy Young Award winner was accused in the report of using steroids, an allegation made by his former trainer. In October last year, the Los Angeles Times reported Clemens was linked to steroids in the May 2006 sworn statement of a federal agent who cited former big league pitcher Jason Grimsley. At the time, the names of players in the public version had been blacked out. When the full affidavit was unsealed Thursday, Clemens' name was not in it, and the paper issued a correction and an apology."I faced this last year when the L.A. Times reported that I used steroids. I said it was not true then
Roger Clemens has been accused of using performance enhancing drugs per the Mitchell Report and he has issued a video proclaiming his innocence. He has denied all accusations by Brian McNamee, his former trainer.
Here is an excerpt from this video as well as the video itself.
The answer is no, I did not use steroids, human growth hormone, and I've never done so. I did not provide Brian McNamee with any drugs to inject into my body. Brian McNamee did not inject steroids or human growth hormone into my body, either when I played in Toronto for the Blue Jays, or the New York Yankees. This Report is simply not true.â€

The other big news from the week in terms of the world of steroids and the Mitchell Report is that former MLB player Jason Grimsley's documents were unveiled, and there was a surprise -- Roger Clemens' name not mentioned in the affidavit despite being reported by the Los Angeles Times it was.The Los Angeles Times issued a full page apology on Friday, and perhaps this shred of news helps to bolster Clemens' case that he did not use drugs. From the New York Times: The judge who unsealed the Grimsley affidavit had harsh words for The Los Angeles Times, which printed a report in October 2006 headlined "Clemens Is Named in Drug Affidavit." Clemens was not named in the affidavit, although he was named last week by Mitchell. The newspaper had been challenged on the accuracy of its story by the United States attorney in 2006. It had said its report was based on two sources and that its reporter, Lance Pugmire, had seen the affidavit, and the newspaper stood by the report. In fact, the Los Ang
The feared Mitchell Report was finally out a few days ago with a list including more than 80 names of baseball players who are believed to be involded in the use of steroids. One of the most shocking was Roger Clemens, who is obviously one of the most respected players of the Yankees and, of course, the entire MLB.
The surprise of including the New York Yankees golden boy for using steroids during the 1998-2001 seasons was really big, and now he's standing on a really akward position, with everybody expecting him to say something about it. Maybe some are actually hoping that he says it was all a lie. However, Clemens has remained almost silent, apparently waiting for the best time to give answers to all our questions.
The only statement given by Roger Clemens so far was poor and ambiguous. Sure, he denies what has been said about him, but then he starts claiming he shouldn't be part of that report because of his 25 years of public life. So, it seems some think they are untou
Roger Clemens made this big statement today. If you somehow missed it, it's here:"I am disappointed that my 25 years in public life have apparently not earned me the benefit of the doubt..."First of all, if anything had happened in the last two days in CBB or MLB, I would be writing about that. Sadly, nothing has. Georgia Tech almost took Kansas to OT, but they couldn't get the ball over half court when they had the opportunity to tie the game with five seconds left.Secondly...what have you done to earn the "benefit of the doubt"? You think the 4,672 strikeouts accomplished that? The seven Cy Youngs? You clearly haven't been paying attention. What's great about this situation is that someone is blatantly lying, and whomever it is has a lot on the line. Either it's Roger, or it's Brian McNamee (from the Mitchell Report):"Federal law enforcement officials and members of my staff participated with me in all of the interviews [with McNamee]."During each of the interviews, the l

Pitcher Andy Pettitte admitted he used Human Growth Hormone, after he was named on the Mitchell report as a cheater by trainer Brian McNamee, who said he injected Pettitte 2-4 times during the 2002 season. Pettitte claims he received HGH injections twice from McNamee during 2002. I guess that puts a major hole in Roger Clemens' attempts to paint McNamee out as a liar. Sorry Roger, you are a cheater.Unfortunately, it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things because baseball is rumored to be planning on not suspending or punishing the 86 cheaters named in the Mitchell Report. So let's get this straight, the owners paid over $20 million for Mithcell to spend 21 months investigating, he comes up with evidence against a ton of players, including confessions, canceled checks and money orders, shipping recipients, phone records, address books, and more, but baseball isn't even going to punish the cheaters they caught red handed? What's the point of following sports anymore? What t
Poking around, I haven’t seen any word of a reaction yet from any specific player who’s name appears in the dreaded Mitchell Report (dum dum dummmm) which I guess makes the following an exclusive. We’ve got never before seen images of Roger Clemens, probably the biggest name outed in the report besides Barry Bonds, immediately after learning that he had been named in the report.
Flying into a rage upon hearing the news, Clemens proceeded to smash an object that we can’t identify due to that weird BAM effect the camera picked up. He then roared mightily at his handlers who scurried from the room. Look what we've got here. Sitting on my bed, waiting for the Mitchell Report to come out, I found myself wondering why I cared so much. I would've put good money on the fact that no big name would've come out of it; I'm a fairly skeptical person. And then the names came out, none bigger than this one: Roger Clemens.
Oh, so that's how you are able to keep pitching when you're 45. According to the
The coach and a couple of players spoke on the progress of Clemens and is ineffectiveness against Dallas.
Coach Mangini on Clemens…
“In order for Clemens to be effective, the offensive line needs to be effective, and they need to be effective in providing not just protection in terms of the pocket but also the ability to establish an effective running game. To evaluate any position, you have to be working in all the different areas to give it an honest assessment.”
RG Brandon Moore on Clemens…
“He’s a young quarterback and we, the offensive line, have to be able to give him time to make his reads and do the things he needs to do. Against Dallas, we didn’t come close. We didn’t give him a lot of opportunities to do anything. That was by far our worst game. A lot of that wasn’t on Kellen. Most of it wasn’t.”
TE Chris Baker on Clemens…
“Any quarterback, especially a young quarterback, their best friend is the
On the heels of yesterday’s lackluster 13-3 home loss to the Bills, Kellen Clemens, who replaced Pennington with 3:32 remaining in the game, will become the starter this week and almost surely remain so for the rest of the season. Reported by Mark Cannizzaro, newyorkpost
After relieving Chad Pennington with roughly 3½ minutes to go in the game, Kellen Clemens discussed his thoughts on the game.
Clemens on possibly being named the starter…
“Well, we’re gonna leave that up to Coach Mangini. He makes the decisions, and like I say, everybody’s frustrated right now with the loss and with the situation, and we’re gonna work hard this week and try to get it corrected.”
Clemens on if he’s ready to be a starter…
“I prepare each week as if I’m going to be the starter; whether or not I’m ready or not is a coach’s decision.”
According to Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post, QB Kellen Clemens will start against the Redskins this upcoming week. After the game, Mangini would not give any hints whether he was poised to make a change, but a source with intimate knowledge of the team’s thinking told The Post last night Mangini will turn to Clemens.
…Well, this was expected, just a few weeks earlier…
In one of his press conferences recently, Eagles head coach Andy Reid was asked if he looks at Jets backup quarterback Kellen Clemens more so now that starting quarterback Chad Pennington is on the bubble.
Reid on Clemens…
“Yeah, you have to look at that. You have to look at him. He’s a good football player, too. He was a heck of a college player, we really liked him. [We] saw him a little bit in the preseason. He’s a good player.”
Jason Collington of Tulsa World believes that Jets quarterback Kellen Clemens can be the next Tony Romo.
I say this because the Jets can’t run but have plenty of people who can catch. Chad Pennington just isn’t winning games, and Clemens almost beat Baltimore on the road by himself.
…Now let’s not jump the gun here on comparing Clemens to Romo…
…Romo took over for at half-time for Drew Bledsoe in Week 7 of the 2006 NFL Season. Just for the record, the Cowboys were 3-2 going into that particular game against the New York Giants. The Jets stand at 1-4 and are likely looking for a spark in any way possible. I would imagine a bad first half by Pennington will trigger Mangini to start Clemens in the 2nd half this upcoming week against the Eagles…
Today the New York Yankees removed veteran pitcher Roger Clemens from their playoff roster and replaced him with left-handed reliever Ron Villone. So now Clemens is ineligible for the AL championship series if the Yankees come back and beat the Cleveland Indians. From Yahoo! News:Clemens re-injured a hamstring Sunday and left in the third inning of New York's 8-4 win over the Cleveland Indians in Game 3. He met with manager Joe Torre and general manager Brian Cashman after the game."Normally, he'd fight," Cashman said. "But he didn't fight this one. He knows his body and he knows that he did enough damage in there that he wouldn't be ready."

No, I don't really expect an answer to this question, since we all seem to have gotten the point in fashion trying to revalue itself by collaborating with art.Alexander Brenninkmeijer, designer of Clemens en August ('which actually is a reference to the founders of the well known clothing company C&A, because, well Mr. Brenninkmeijer is part of the C&A family, but on his own now...'), doesn't have a store. The collections are only sold twice a year for three days in assorted galleries and museums. One of those selling periods started Friday September 22nd at KW Institute for Contemporary Art in ('where else') Berlin. But the tour isn't over by now. Please visit Clemens en August's website for a shopping event near you ('will try to check them out in Frankfurt at the end of october to see if the "art upgrade" works...').///Wo genau liegt der Sinn im Verkauf von Mode in Kunstin
Roger Clemens, the biggest mercenary in sports, decided today to opine on the Yankee loss and more importantly, the bug invasion that Joba Chamberlain had to endure. He says this:"If Roger Clemens had been making the call, the New York Yankees really would have bugged out.Clemens viewed Friday night's insect invasion at Cleveland's Jacobs Field from both the dugout and a television in the clubhouse, and he concluded it was too distracting an environment to pitch in."I would have probably pulled us off the field," Clemens said Saturday at Yankee Stadium.and..."I think it's hard enough for our young kids to go out there and concentrate in that situation to have something like that happen," said Clemens, the Yankees' Game 3 starter for Sunday.Asked whether he would have pulled the team off the field had he been an umpire or the manager, Clemens didn't give a direct answer and then said his earlier response benefited from hindsight."It's easy to say now because it only lasted about 40
In an article on ESPN.com, Roger Clemens will miss his next start because of his elbow."Clemens will have a cortisone shot Wednesday following his Monday start against Seattle that was cut short in the fifth inning. Clemens said he thought the elbow problem stemmed from a blister on his foot that caused him to alter his mechanics. He had a MRI exam after the game; the injury is not believed to be serious."
