I am noticing something that the media in the west and east are ignoring the economic factor in the Lebanese issue.people do not understand that the majority of Shiites in Lebanon are from the Blue collar working classes whether from the farmers or from the labours. The last economic decisions to raise the price of fuel and diesel in Lebanon just like another Egypt made this class extremely angry especially their wages were the same ,even after the very fast small raise the cabinet had decided from two days before the protests. The Cabinet decided to raise the minimum wages to become $US 500 , useless raise in front of continuous rising prices. Again this protests were not planned by Hezbollah and allies but it was planned by the Lebanese Labour Unions on objection of the very low minimum

Sen. John McCain has been forced to explain a remark recently in which he seemed to suggest that the U.S. had invaded Iraq five years ago over oil. McCain was discussing his energy plan at a town-hall meeting in Denver. He said:"My friends, I will have an energy policy that we will be talking about, which will eliminate our dependence on oil from the Middle East that will prevent us from having ever to send our young men and women into conflict again in the Middle East."Asked about this, McCain said, "No, no, I was talking about that we had fought the Gulf War for several reasons." McCain was referring to the first Gulf War in the early 1990s, when "we didn't want [Saddam Hussein] to have control over the oil." Source: news.yahoo.com
We seem to be getting a lot of confused consumers emailing to ask whether the Nokia N95 in Black is in fact the 8GB memory version - well, to save having to write the same email replies over and over again we wanted to clarify - Yes, the N95 Black is in fact the Nokia [...]
For many months there was a debate inside the State Department and elsewhere in the policy community on how seriously to take the _jihadist_ threat from al-Shabaad al-Mujahideen Movement in Somalia, and whether the group was really linked to al Qaeda. Ultimately, the group was designated by the Treasury Department as a terrorist entity in February. This was the right decision, in my opinion. What I find interesting is how unable we often are to believe people when they say they want to kill us, even...(read more)

It would help if in questioning a source, you gave an accurate reference to the source. I have searched Encarta and think I found the quote at exact quote I see in section IV is: "The length of the string, or the distance the wave on the string occupies, is equal to a whole or half number of wavelengths. At these distances, the wave bounces back at either end and constructively interferes with itself, which strengthens the wave. Similarly, an electron wave occupies a distance around the nucleus of an atom, or a circumference, that enables it to travel a whole or half number of wavelengths before looping back on itself." The problem with the quote is the word "similarly". The boundary conditions for a circular loop are different than those for a violin string. The violin string allows h

PUTRAJAYA: The Anti-Corruption Agency will make an application to the Royal Commission of Inquiry tomorrow to clear its name in the wake of testimony that it had paid a witness to close a 1998 investigation. This is in relation to the testimony of G. Jayanti on Tuesday, who had said she was given RM3,000 by an ACA officer at the end of investigations into a report lodged against Lingam by his brother, V. Thirunama Karasu. ACA sources said the agency's senior officers would like to get Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail's consent before submitting a statement to the commission. "Her evidence has put the ACA in a bad light. We want to clarify what she had testified for public understanding," a source said. On Tuesday, Jayanti told the commission that ACA officer Wong
Today, I learned an important lesson, the importance of clarifying your statements when a client calls for a potential notarization.A lady called me inquiring about notarizing her documents. I informed her that the notary would be $10 per signature but she heard $10 per person. At the time I did not think it was a big deal because she stated that the notary would just consist of a couple of documents and I figured that I would clarify any misunderstandings before I started the notarization. Let's just say that was not the best idea...It turned out that the notarization was for a couple that was purchasing a timeshare in Las Vegas and the documents needed a total of six signatures! On previous occasions when I encountered similar situations this has never been a problem because the client un

First comment from this forum :23-12-2007 (>10 posts)"I received a phonecall this week from Portfolio Recovery Assoc. and they were trying to remind me of a debt that I owe from 17 (seventeen years ago) they wanted to know what kind of arrangements I wanted to make in order to pay them the amount they said that I owe. I was very brave because I know my rights. I said NONE. I told them that has passed the SOL many times over and that they could be sued for trying to collect a debt after the SOL. Am I correct and what should be the next step if any? I did look at the combo letter in the first newbie Sticky.Best,Rob"see this forum at : http://www.debt-consolidation-credit-repair-service.com/forums/showthread.php?t=279252
Like I said you should not let your challenge get ahead of you, neither should your feelings. If your feelings overwhelm you, you should certainly acknowledge them. They are bubbling up from your subconscious self and they are a message to you. Your feelings are your natural guide. So, allow yourself to be divinely guided. You do already have the answer, your feelings accentuate this fact for you. What kind of answer? Depends on what kind of feeling you are feeling.See? Even if you thought you had to do it alone, you would not be. Remember though that you are still the first cause.(Don't want to read? Listen instead. Jeff wrote in "Why did the Hoover Tempo Widepath Receive 5 Stars and an obviously much more powerful vacuum like Bissell Momentum Upright receive 4 stars? Could you clarify your ranking system please? Thanks,Jeff"A few people have sent in some emails asking how why a vacuum like the Hoover Tempo Widepath received 5 stars while a clearly, more powerful vacuums received as little as 3 or 4 stars. The answer is simple. You don’t judge a Honda Civic by the features and performance of a Mercedes. They’re in two completely different classes and marketed to two entirely different demographics. When I write a review about a vacuum that costs a hundred bucks or less I’m comparing it to my experiences with other vacuums in that price range, not to a Miele, Dyson, or Oreck.
Kate, and Kate are looking for some clarity and explanation to what Puffins are, as I stated they were a favorite snack in my TMI meme post.
Puffins are an unusual type of seabird, found on the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, but it’s also the name of a cereal. Created by Barbara’s Bakery, Inc., the cereal sales help support Project Puffin, which helps restore the birds to their natural nesting sites on the Atlantic coast, specifically in Maine. The birds nest abundantly in Newfoundland, Iceland and Britain.
Flavor-wise, think Cap’n Crunch after it cleaned up its act, started eating healthy and began an exercise program. Mmmmm. And not in a bowl with milk, no way…..eating them straight from the box, generally by the handful, is the only way.
According to a top UAE law firm, the regulations currently drafted by the Abu Dhabi Land Department, clarifies the rules and procedures in the booming real estate sector in the emirate. Several laws have been issued since the year 2005, which deal with property registration and ownership for the UAE and GCC nationals, and foreigners in Abu Dhabi.Mohammad Kamal, Property Lawyer, at the Dubai-based Al Tamimi and Company, however, says that these were just "skeleton frameworks" which heavily depended on added regulations, termed as implementation regulations, to fill in grey areas.Recent discussions between the Abu Dhabi Land Department and Al Tamimi, revealed that implementation regulation regarding Law No.3, concerning registration procedures for land in the name of UAE nationals have been already drafted and sent to the Executive Council of the emirate for approval.Meanwhile similar regulations for Law No.19 were issued during 2005, to define the ownership rights of UAE, GCC and foreig
The hundreds of police, most of which were Hispanic, could have coordinated an attack on peaceful immigrants in front of thousands of cameras and in liberal LA, but I'm just saying that's probably not what happened. I guess we'll have to wait for the report.
I truly appreciate those people that took the time to comment on my last posting. I really do - because they were thought-out, thought-provoking responses, not just "damn, that sucks" kind of throw-away comments. Just to make sure you realize, I'm not 1 step from blowing my brains out, dumping my kids in the bay or driving all of us off a short bridge. My blog is where I have to dump the stuff that runs through my head - it's my real feelings, but I don't want you thinking that I'm 2 slices short of a whole loaf, Ok? :)We took Zachary for his 2 week (plus 3 day) checkup today, and he's gained (are you ready for this??) 19 ounces (and 3/4 of an inch) in 10 days! He went from 7lb 14oz at his 1 week appt. to 9lb 1 oz. today at his 17 day appt. :) :):) I feel particularly proud of this achievement because it's ALL MY FAULT :D lol I haven't supplemented with formula more than 1 ounce, and yet, apparently, my boobs notwithstanding, it's been more than enough for Mr. Zach to star
Watching video on a portable device often means dealing with a confusing, frustrating jungle of competing formats -- why will one format play well on some devices and not at all on others? Conversion programs such as M2Converter can take various file formats and transform them into a neat pile of movies, all playable on the user's specified device.Everywhere you turn these days, someone is pushing video -- on the Internet , on portable media players, even on cell phones. What's omitted by many enthusiastic purveyors of this electronic marvel, though, is that the digital video scene is a jungle of befuddling and confusing formats, a system more conducive to frustration than elation. That jungle is thickest when a user is trying to move video to a portable player. apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) has made the process a bit simpler by building conversion features into its iTunes software . However, if you're not iPod-centric, things can get dicey. That's why a program like m2converter can be l

When I think about life just for thinking’s sake, I envision a sea of sand. Endless piles of shifting sandscape, orange, and dry in the unrelenting heat of the sun. I don’t know why that’s what I think of. It seems such a contradiction when you consider how much life there actually is in a desert. A rainforest would be more logical. But I guess it’s a reflection of my life rather than just life in general. And that is somewhat worrisome. Why do I envision my life as a desolate wasteland? Nothing grows in sand. Yeah, sure, on a beach you’ll get some marram grass and a few bugs and stuff, but that’s right next to an enormous body of water. There aren’t any oceans in my images, its just desert, and deserts are devoid of life. Lately I’ve had the same vision when thinking about love. I asked a question today that I hadn’t even realised was really a question. I used to be so depressed. Maybe it’s just from habit, but I’ve always thought of myself as
