I have loved Claire Danes since the My So Called Life. The starlet has not been in many mainstream movies lately but her star is still shining bright. Gucci announced last week that Danes will replace Drew Barrymore as the new face of Gucci fine jewelry advertising campaign. Danes appeals to a diverse“Claire Danes is a modern icon and one of the most interesting young actresses on the international scene. Claire’s sensual, confident beauty and her passionate, independent and strong character embodies today’s Gucci woman,” said Gucci creative director Frida Giannini. The ad campaign will be shot by photogs Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and will run in the fall.
