Citadel: A Bastion of Groupware Functionality
Which brings us to my favorite groupware and messaging server, Citadel BBS. Citadel is 100% GPL, and doesn't play games with making either binary or source downloads easily available. If I had to describe Citadel in a word, it would be "simplicity". It is a complex application with a lot of power and flexibility, but it's easy to install and administer. It has an excellent installation script that builds the whole works from source code, and the same script is also an upgrader. Unnecessary complexity may wow the PHB set, but we real people know that simplifying the management of a complex application takes some real engineering skills.

      Citadel Infuses $2.55bn into E-Trade
It has been another wild day for E*Trade today. They are trading about 7 times their average trading volume, and it has been like this for over a week. They were up over 5% today as Citadel, the hedge fund company run by billionaire Ken Griffin, decided to pump $2.55bn into the online brokerage firm. But by the end of the day, the stock was down almost 9%. The move was a bid to restore confidence and liquidity into the company as there has been many rumors of a takeover since the mortgage industry meltdown. If the deal goes through, Cit

      The Son Tay Citadel
03 November 2007 (Vietnam Net Bridge) - Built in 1822, the Son Tay Citadel stood guard over the western gate to what is now known as Hanoi. This travel piece takes a walk through the citadel, which seems to have been unfortunately badly restored. All quiet on the western front In my mind I had pictured Son Tay town as a sleeping beauty in amongst the hundreds of craft villages of Ha Tay province. I became determined to discover the region’s “hidden charm” and cajoled my uncle into tagging along. After we arrive, at first, we just amble along the town’s older streets. Everywhere the houses seem small and tidy, the people seem good-natured and the town as a whole seems quaint and tranquil. When I arrive at the moat that surrounds the ancient citadel we’re given the option of rowing across in a small bamboo boat, though we choose to stroll across the bridge. Son Tay ancient citadel was built by King Minh Mang in 1822 to defend the western gateway to the city of Thang Long, whic

      Carcassonne Citadel
With only being 30km away from Carcassonne Citadel it is a must place to go. I was happy to go as long as we could check out a wildlife site not far from the gite, at a place called Rennes-les-Bains . There is a river running through the small village, which is also home to a Spa.The river was full of wildflowers, butterflies and of course dragonflies. After a quick mooch it was time to head off the Carcassonne. As you approach the city you are greeted with an amazing site of the citadel, it is a real WOW view and one I'm sure people don't tire from. The towers and turrets are almost fairytale like in appearance and are certainly impressive. You can walk around the battlements and get some great views of the surrounding country side. The inside is another matter, it is jammed packed with souvenir shops, restaurants and other shops that bore the pants off me. But as I had agreed to go as long, so I could go to the wildlife area, I bore the boredom stoically. I did however enjoy a Cassou

      Cairo Citadel II

      Hellfire Citadel Gameplay Trailer
It's been a while since the last time i write sumfin here. The blog is dissappeared from google listing for most of the popular keyword, which made it hard for me. It will be quiet hard to get back on list. Here some of the latest news from Blizzard Wow Insider. On the blasted world of Outland, within the heart of Hellfire Peninsula stands Hellfire Citadel, a nearly impenetrable bastion that served as the Horde's base of operations throughout the First and Second Wars. For years, this gargantuan fortress was thought to be abandoned - until the recent discovery that marauding bands of fel orcs have made Hellfire Citadel their home. Though the origins of this particularly savage breed present something of a mystery, what's more disconcerting is that the numbers of these fel orcs seem to be growing... Hellfire Citadel is one of the first new dungeons that players will encounter in The Burning Crusade. Watch our new gameplay trailer, which showcases the look and feel of Hellfi
