I have to admit that Pringle still tends to make me think of those Argle-knit golf jumpers. But this season that's probably going to change - thanks firstly to some brilliant chunky-knit tops. I love to wear heavy, bulky knits in nice neutral colours, particularly on the upper half as this can balance-out a larger bottom. And what better to wear with white trousers? Who would have thought that I would love chunky, heavy jewelry so much? In all other aspects of fashion, I seek out far slimmer pieces. I hate big, clunky shoes, and I avoid clothing that isn’t sleek and svelte. The big pieces of jewelry bring a nice counter-balance. Blox Designs is a perfect example of chunky jewelry. The designers, Magdalena Kubik and Lori Reynolds, both come from interior design backgrounds; subsequently their designs incorporate tiles made of glass and metal. Sorry about the odd title for today; it really is the title of the book I'm reviewing. I'm completely wiped out today. I spent most of the week running errands and spring cleaning, and I overdid it.
