6 Christmas Shopping Tips You Must Know
by: infocusThere are a variety of opportunities for holiday shoppers, including stores, catalogs and the internet. Below are 6 Christmas Shopping tips: Christmas Shopping Tip #1: Shop Early If you're heading out to the mall this year, have your shopping list ready. It's a good idea to shop early in the season because, if you wait too long, that perfect gift may already be under someone else's tree. Christmas Shopping Tip #2: Be Polite Always remember to be polite. The holidays are extremely busy and store employees are working overtime, so be patient as you wait for assistance. Christmas Shopping Tip #3: Layaway If you have a big list, but not quite a budget to match, consider a layaway. Many stores offer a convenient layaway plan, which would allow you to make payments up until Christm

I need a credit card for my christmas shopping , can i get one approved before christmas?
what credit card company is the fastest to approve me before the holidays are over? I would like to use my credit card for my christmas shopping.,Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT go get a credit card to buy people gifts for Christmas! You WILL regret it...If you can't pay for it now, you won't be able to pay for it much better later.... If you friends/family do not understand that you can not afford fancy gifts, then shame on them.... Buy the people who are most important to you something meaningful that you can pay for now, or make something from the heart. Going into debt for Christmas gifts really is a bad idea. Please think twice before you do it.

      Christmas Shopping On eBay
I'm doing most of my Christmas shopping on eBay this year. I guess, you could say eBay, is like window shopping, without the windows. Ebay is perhaps the world's most widely recognized market place with millions of items being displayed for sale on any given day.Now that Christmas is rapidly approaching we're scrambling around trying to get our shopping done. At first, I wasn't too sure, and a little nervous about the whole on-line shopping thing, but the convenience of it all convinced me, especially, after a couple successful eBay auction purchases, because personally, now that I've discovered eBay, I don't particularly like to go shopping outside my home and will do my best to find all my Christmas items on eBay this year. No need for long lines or getting up at 4:00 am to "Catch a Sale" shopping on eBay will make my shopping experience content. And for a safe, secure and fun online shopping experience, eBay advises members review and follow the Safe Trading Guidelines by clickin

      Christmas Shopping
Is nuts out there! I went yesterday out looking for just one store, which Awwww for my sadness is inside the mall in the area I live. Even so is been said that Christmas sales are not good this year, it does not mean is not the same amount of people in the mall parking lot. Just one store, one whole hour in it. with a 9 month old....that after 10 minutes he was done. Not good.Worst part is that after trying to get out of that jungle I need it to make 2 more stops, I even feed him in the Parking lot of Toys R Us which was the 3rd stop, and I am not talking about giving him a bottle, I am talking about a Gerber Graduates Meal to be feed on spoon. By the end of the night I was carrying him out of Toys R Us like a sack of Potatoes because he was crying if I left him in the Cart. End up in a Gas station pumping gas and run to get a Cappuccino from one of the machine inside the place. Thanks goodness is only ones a year.....oh crap...wait is not only ones, we also have After Thanksgiving, Mem

      Christmas Shopping and Lottery Tickets
There's really just two people left on my Christmas list - and they are the hardest to know what to get for them.  One of them is my mother ... what do you get a women who has enough discretionary funds to buy what she wants when she wants it, says "I can't think of anything I want" when you ask what to get, and in the next breath says "don't get me any gift cards, I still have some left from last year."  Sheesh!  I do have one idea (sorry, can't post it here, since mom checks the blog occaisionally), so I'm heading out to do a little more shopping tonight. On the upside ... all the gifts I have to ship have been sent out - so that's an improvement for me.  In years past, I'm shipping Priority on Dec 23rd so it arrives on Christmas eve.  Since Christmas and New Years fall on a Tuesday, I'm taking Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve off from work.  I hate when a holiday falls in the middle of the week like that (work a day, off a

      Christmas Shopping in Heaven
I am SO glad that I don't work in retail at this time of year. The stress you see on those cashier's faces is palpable! No thanks, not for me. I'll stick to my stay-at-home-mama gig.And don't forget those shoppers. OH, what a steady stream of frantic ones, along with stressed out ones, shoppers who can't find aisle 3, and those shoppers who insist on pushing their way thru 20 people in the aisle just to get to the latest Transformer toy. Yikes. And the parking lots. Don't get me STARTED on drivers! And yes, there are many nice people out there as well, don't get me wrong. Most of the time I'm one of the nice ones. Really!Today my partner in crime (that would be Sweetpea, my adorable and very vocal 3 year old daughter) and I ventured into Target. You know, the place where angels sing and the heavens open up for me? Oh my GAWD I love that store. I had 4 things on my list. 4. FOUR. And how many things did I leave with? Can you say over 20 items? I HAD to stop at

Why You Should Avoid Last Minute Christmas Shopping
Some people just couldn’t find the time and they waited until the very last minute to do their Christmas shopping. When exactly is considered last minute, you may ask. Well, personally I think you should get your shopping organized or better still, done, no later than the end of November. You know why?Because you can save a lot of money by finding a better deal online! Most of the time, by looking for goods online, you will find cheaper goods compare to the normal stores. And the reason why you should make your purchase earlier is to give it some time for your items to be ship.Think about it, what could be better way to do your Christmas shopping? All you have to do is to take some time and browse around the internet to find a good bargain on the item that you want. When you find the ite

What I'm Doing Instead of Christmas Shopping
It is now the 15th of December, and I still haven't done any Christmas shopping. This is what I've been doing instead...I'm getting lots of stops to look at my pictures, very complimentary comments, and sales are good, so I'm a very happy girl. I'm also meeting lots of nice people from here, there and everywhere. All in all, I'm having a great time! Two more shows and I'm done, so then I fully expect to whip right through my Christmas shopping and be completely done in time to go visit a few fun places to enjoy the holidays.(Isn't unbridled optimism fun to watch?)Keep up with me... Christmas Shopping (or the lack thereof)
I am starting to get a little freak-out going. As my Christmas countdown reminds me, I am running out of time before Christmas arrives, and I have not done ANY Christmas shopping.Between being sick (this is my second week), and being busy, busy, BUSY, I have put it off until now, and I'm starting to worry. Will I get going on this while I still have time for Amazon.com to ship? Oh, yes - me and Internet shopping go wayyyy back. It's almost like Santa dropping down the chimney and leaving lots of gifts - only with Internet shopping the packages magically arrive on my porch. No shipping, no tax. Elves...?Anyway, back to panicsville - I am going to try and get this going by Tuesday. At the latest. For sure...(I hope)Keep up with me... Subscribe to my feed.

      Christmas Shopping and Government Waste
Yesterday, while Christmas shopping at the Walden Galleria, my holiday spirit took a nose dive due to blatant government waste of our taxpayers’ dollars.  I was thoroughly disgusted seeing several Border Patrol agents littered throughout the mall.  One of them planted herself facing the upper entrance to Sears (inside) as if she expected illegal aliens to pop out any second. The coup de grâce, at the end of my shopping excursion, was stumbling up a storefront office/propaganda center for the Border Patrol.  Perhaps next Christmas season we will have an office for the Ministry of Disinformation. Christmas Shopping and my old house
Got some Christmas shopping done last night and picked up a few new decorations.  I would love to buy a lot more decorations but i have to watch the spending.  I did buy one of those singing bell things for the fireplace garland.  I’m going to redo it this year.  You know strip of the old tired dollar general ornaments and put on some nicer hobby lobby ornaments.  I always use the little miniature ones on the garland. We did look for some village stuff but didn’t find much.  we got two new strings of gas lamps to replace the ones that broke last year and a fiber optic tree I’ve been wanting for a long time.  We need more people in our village and maybe some buggies and little forms of transportation.  I had more people but a lot of them got broken they ear we put the vilalge on top of the kitchen cabinets. My old house in the gated neighborhood had a perfect spot for a village.  It was a house split on 3 levels, each 6 steps up from the other.  The kitchen h

      Christmas Shopping in July?
Yes, that's right--I'm Christmas shopping in July! I'm one of those people who like to completely avoid all malls or shopping centers from about Thanksgiving-New Years. Yes, there are very enticing sales, but I am also one of those shoppers who just ends up buying things because "it's a good sale"--not because we actually need it. So, in July I make my Christmas list, and I stick to it. I do a little shopping each month, so I'm not spending too much all at once.My son is two and a half, and we've decided to get him a toy kitchen playset for Christmas this year. I saw the Play Wonder kitchen (left) at Target and just fell in love with it! When I went to Target yesterday I was tolded it had been recalled! Needless to say I'm disappointed. I hope that they fix what is wrong with it (I can't seem to find any info on the recall, so I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with it.) & it is back on the market soon! I did pick up some of the kitchen accessories, which were on sale. (y

Mum and I had a day Christmas shopping yesterday. We set it up a couple of weeks ago when I was having a particularly busy time at work - I think she was trying to ensure I took at least a day off to compensate for all the evenings I've been working recently. Whatever, it was really nice. Today feels like it should be a Sunday but never mnd.We didn't go anywhere different though. We had talked about possibly going over to Oxford, but in the end we just mooched around town and went to the next town over to go to HobbyCraft. But neither of us has really had the time to just amble round the shops for a while, looking for nothing in particular. And it has been years since we've done it together. I have now found presents for my Mum's parents, which leaves my Dad's mother and I have an idea for her I need to check with Dad when he comes over today. I still need three presents for work (and have one and a half to finish) but I think I know what I'm going to do with them. Then I
