Viva! Nuestra Señora Virgen del Rosario!Last October 7 that was 1st Sunday of the month Baranggay Consolacion part of the "City of Golden Friendship" Cagayan de Oro City celebrating the feast of patron Nuestra Señora Virgen del Rosario. The feast had lots of activities and gigs to the youth and also to the adult; they had a disco, singing contest, boxing, Ms. Gay and Ms. Consolacion. When we say feast we Filipinos think about the foods especially "lechon" as a nature of a true Filipino one of the characteristic that we have is being hospitable and we should invite our relatives and friends to join celebrating the feast of the patron. Having a feast of the patron the church then, offer a mass of Christening for the babies for them to become Christian. One of the babies had been baptized is baby Troy the nephew of my boy friend and I'm her godmother, we welcome baby Troy after the ceremony to the world of Christianity. Here are some pictures:The priest who baptized bb Troy and his

      JAY-Z SKIPS INTERVIEW FOR CHRISTENING....
Last Friday afternoon Jay-Z was scheduled to show up on Hot 97's The Angie Martinex Show. However, in true mogul style Jay-Z cancelled the same day. Now Jay-Z and Angie Martinez have a longstanding solid relationship that goes way back. After much anticipation and major advertisement Jay-Z was a no-show! But Hovito had a perfectly good explanation for his absense. He phoned into the "The Voice of New York", he had to attend a christening for a his godson the same day. Hov claimed the christening for the 9-year old catholic boy was more important than any itnerview...I'm wondering who's this special little boy? Could this be his bastard son who's also rumored to be 9-years old??? Anywhoo, Hov was cool enough to reschedule live on air for next Friday August 3rd and made it very clear any questions (personal or not) are a-go!CLICK HERE TO LISTEN JAY-Z PHONING ANGIE MARTINEZ!!!

Why I would not attend a Child’s Christening
I would have no reservations about attending a church for a wedding (other than my own) or a funeral (again, other than my own!). I hold no principles that would prohibit such a visit to a place of worship. Of course, I would not participate in any of the religious rituals that either a wedding or a funeral may entail. I would also not join in with the singing of any hymns, not as a point of principle, but for the safety and well being of those who could hear me. It is fitting that I don’t believe in angels, because I certainly don’t have the voice of one. The reason a wedding or a funeral wouldn’t bother me, is that I don’t have a problem with either of these ceremonies, in and of themselves. If I attended a wedding, I would simply be joining in the celebration of two people I know declaring their love for each other, and their decision to make their union official. If they want to do that in a religious fashion, that is their business, their free choice as consenting

      Christening and Baptism Favor Ideas
Christening and Baptism Favor Ideas by Criss Baptism and christening ceremonies are an important event that signifies the start of a child's spiritual life. As a common courtesy to guests who attend these ceremonies, the parents of the child or the host of the event often obtain party favors as a gift. Here are some themes and ideas that are appropriate for these occasions: 1. Cross - The holy cross is by far the most common theme for baptism and christening favors. There are many interpretations of the meaning of the cross. However, the cross is widely accepted as the sign of Christianity. Some favors with this theme are cross- shaped soap, candles engraved with the cross symbol, and chocolate bars with a cross on the customized wrapper. 2. White - The color white symbolizes life, joy, happiness, and purity. Yellow is another color that is often used as it can also symbolize goodness, happiness, and brightness. Sometime these colors are used together, for example, a white angel with
