I watch his show on HBO because I view it more as a strong and witty social commentary on what is wrong with blacks than simply a comedy act. Chris Rock makes an appearance in tonight’s season premiere of EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS as a guidance counselor. The episode is rightly entitled “Everybody Hates the Guidance Counselor” and airs tonight at 8pm on the CW.
Everybody Hates Chris is one of the few sitcoms that makes me laugh. This show is so underrated I feel, it has great and funny storylines and such a wonderful cast. If you are looking for a good 30 minutes of fun, you should give Everybody Hates Chris a shot.

A woman name Kali Bowyer, living in southeast Georgia filed a paternity suit trying to get child support and medical coverage for her 13-year old son, Jordan. However, after court officials told her Chris Rock’s New Jersey residence is outside of Georgia’s jurisdiction she withdrew her suit.
Instead of leaving it at that, Chris wanted to resolve the matter and had the court continue the paternity case. And on Monday Rock’s lawyer announced that Chris is not the father of the boy according to DNA testing.
Chris Rock and wife, Malaak, said on Monday that they were happy the whole ordeal was over.”We also express our deepest prayers for the welfare of Ms. Bowyer’s son who has continually been embarrassed and exposed in the media by his mother,” Rock’s statement said. According to a thick stack of government documents obtained by TMZ, Bowyer was convicted of DUI in Georgia, charged with theft by deception last summer, and is facing charges of running an elaborate cell phone scam.
And it doesn't end there! In the last two years, more than ten incident reports detail some truly strange encounters with police, including one in which cops say she claimed to have been held at gunpoint and forced to "ingest some white powder," a tale which her own son contradicted under questioning. Chris Rock asked a court to determine if he's the father of a 13-year-old boy, according to papers filed in a paternity dispute with a Georgia woman.
If he's proven to be the father, Rock wants to "contribute to the support, maintenance, and education" of the boy, say the papers filed Monday in Statesboro, Ga.
Kali Bowyer had first tried to file a paternity action against Rock last month, but withdrew it because Rock, a New Jersey resident, lives outside the southeastern Georgia court's jurisdiction, the Associated Press reports.
Rock's filing now starts the proceedings.
Bowyer's lawyer, Brett Kimmel, says Bowyer is "looking forward to establishing that Mr. Rock is the father of their son and bringing the case to a swift conclusion," according to the AP.
The attorney declined to describe the nature of his client's relationship with Rock or say why she waited 13 years to seek a paternity claim.
