At the opposite end of the spectrum are diametrically opposed forces. You have heat and you have cold. You have fatigue and you have energy. Where heat and energy met lived the dragon of Stoked After Burn, but on the other side lives the intersection of cold and energy and that is where Stoked Wind Chill lives. Stoked Wind Chill brings the familiar 16 ounce can of other Stoked Energy Drinks with

During winter the coldest room in the house is usually the bathroom, there is an easy and surprisingly inexpensive way to make winter more comfortable and luxurious. Consider exchanging your standard towel rails for heated towel warmers (should read "rails"); if placed on a heated towel rail before a shower or bath a dry towel provides that added comfort of being warm and inviting on an icy winter morning. Operating a heated towel rail is little more effort than running a lamp, the heated towel rails are either connected directly into the heating system or can be run independently using electricity.Leading manufacturers of heated towel rails, Bathroom Butler, realised that a one-size-fits-all approach was not appropriate and have designed five heated towel rail collections to suit the dive

The doorbell. The dog. The boss. The kids. The commute. Gas prices. Global warming. The current state of the world — let alone your body.
It’s enough to send you screaming into a Calgon commercial. Or at least to the modern-day equivalent: AquaFit Hot Tub, the spanking new spa/fitness center. The first of it's kind, it has two sides -- one for working out in and one for taking hot relaxing soaks in. You can get your blood pumping by swimming stationary "laps," walking or running underwater, or working out your upper body with the rowing attachments. Then you can cool down with a hydrojet massage and soak in the adjacent hot tub compartment. Priced at about $40,000, the Aquafit provides fun, fitness and relaxation for the whole family!
Can your hot tub do that?

With all the changes that have occurred within our industry over the past year or so, it should be rememberedthat stress is a major side effect. Stress comes in two forms. Acute stress is short term and is the body's reaction to any situation. Chronic stress is typically long term and can be caused by irritating life events (i.e. bombardment of negative media coverage of housing market, projections that small banks may fail, etc), or chronic disease. I primarily want to focus on non-disease related chronic stress and natural ways to try to alleviate chronic stresses in our lives. *Reading this could cause stress (but will hopefully equip you with tools to counter stress)* and are excellent sources of information on a variety of health issues including stress. The countdown is on, and soon one of them will cross the finish line for the Big 500!I haven't been posting as much on this blog because I recently caught a cold and have felt icky. Of course, the chilly weather hasn't helped. Maui folks aren't used to temperatures in the 60's! As I write this post today, I'm still in my warm, fluffy robe with my warm slippers. If you loved the look of leggings, you'll also love black tights...a much more sophisticated take, but the same idea.If you want to continue wearing skirts and dresses this winter, take these tips to keep warm and fashionable:1) Tights: Get a few pairs to compliment the dresses and skirts you plan to wear. Black and navy are good staples, but if you want to be creative, go for textured pairs as well.2) Boots: Knee-length boots will also help keep you warm in colder climates when paired with tights...the taller, the better!3) Bundle up: Make sure you are wearing a heavy jacket and scarf...if you need to wear gloves and a hat, you may want to skip a skirt on that day though.Get creative with your fall wardrobe and make it work for winter with lots of layering and
The latest book that I’ve read/listened is Showdown by Ted Dekker.
This is the first time I read a Ted Dekker’s book. Never heard of the author before. When I last shopped for audiobooks, I wanted to buy more from the seller to save shipping fees, so just browse around. I stumbled upon this Showdown and very curious to find more.
As usual, Amazon is my favourite place to check out the various reviews. I buy books mainly based on how many stars they get in Amazon. I know it can be very bias, but I also read those niche negative comments for those highly rated books. Just want to know what they find negative about those books.

The temperatures in Cleveland are finally starting to drop, which means I need to pull out my warmer coats and accessories to make sure I don't freeze with the lake effect chill. Elena Karo of Tickled Pink Knits makes the most beautiful hand knit accessories from merino and alpaca wool, fine cotton and, my favorite, cashmere! I have a gorgeous black cashmere winter coat (don't most of you own a black winter coat??) and one of my favorite ways in the winter to add that pop of color to what seems like an endless season of gray is to accessorize with colorful funky hats, scarves and gloves. Luxurious, yet totally affordable, Elena's creations are the perfect finishing touch to my "uniform" during the winter! Because cold weather and winter coats are no excuse to put fashion on hold. (Here in Cleveland, that would be 6 months!!) Check out more designs HERE.

What do you look for when you pick up a pack of gum? Do you want it to freshen your breath? Maybe you’re trying to quit smoking cigarettes and you need something to chew on to help deter you from continuing the bad habit? Or do you want something with long-lasting flavor for a long, dull day at the office?
I discovered out that gum can have more than one duty when I found a package from the Action Candy Company in the mail. The company is releasing a new line of five sugar-free gums in January 2008, and three of those gums have a dual purpose - not only do they please your taste buds and freshen your breath, but they also help you out in other ways. The other two are intensely flavorful and breath-freshening.
Bonus! Energy Gum
If you’ve ever tasted a Red Bull, you’ll recognize its signature energy-beverage flavor when you pop a piece of this gum into your mouth. This energizing gum contains guarana and taurine, two substances that are meant to get your pulse racing.

People love to feed their freezers. The question the San Francisco Chronicle Food section gets most often from readers is, "Can I freeze it?''
The short answer is yes. The longer answer is, it depends.
It depends on what shape the food is in to start with, how you wrap it and how long you plan to freeze it. It depends on your expectations. To get the best results, use your freezer mindfully: It's not a purgatory for food. Sources:San Francisco Chronicle May 18, 2005
No I'm not taking the piste - Manchester will get it's own indoor ski slope on November 16th when the Chill Factore opens for business in Trafford Park (Next to Junction 10 and the Trafford Centre)The huge complex will have THREE skiing areas, complete with 'real' (i.e. fake) snow as well as as bars and restaurants. A number of skiing related shops, including Quicksilver, will be opening inside the venue. If Skiing isn't your bagthen there'll be a luge/toboggan run, snowboarding facilties and rock climbing. If you dont like doing outdoor stuff then you can sit in the 'warm zone', which is home to most of the restaurants and bars, and get sloshed watching other people do stuff. Chill Factore will open from 10am to 11pm seven days a week. Here's a few videos of the inside, including what looks like a builder coming a cropper on the toboggan run.Whathappenedlastnight Manchester
Let’s assume, for the sake of example (and just off the top of my head), that your website had, like so many others, seen a wholly unjustified loss in page rank from Google’s latest update and that you were feeling rather aggrieved about it, perhaps staring across your desktop at this Vortex Light might cheer you up knowing that, in coming with 4 USB ports, not only is this particular gadget multifunctional but you’re hardly likely to wake up the next morning to find that Google had decided to take away one of the ports for no apparent reason whatsoever.
No, actually, I take that back. Staring at this desktop Vortex Light really wouldn’t help at all.
So what have we achieved here, exactly – apart from managing to sledge-hammer in a wholly tenuous topic merely in a bid to express our frustrations?
Absolutely nothing.
Which, interestingly (I’m working hard to save this post here – bear with me) is exactly what we feel about this particular gadget.
Yes it’s a mini Vortex
I’d like to give a shout-out to my mom, who once again helped me put things in perspective. I called her because I spent my Saturday feeling increasingly stressed by all the things I told myself I needed to accomplish.
Just trying to pick the right size and quantity of plastic containers was throwing me for a loop - and don’t get me started on the packing supplies that were taunting me in the store. And were the quality of the containers at The Container Store any better or worse than those at Target? And why did Target’s parking lot look like the last weekend before Christmas?
So post-conversation with mom, I started to remember this is suppose to be fun! Yes, I’ve decided to take on a GIGANTIC change in my life’s direction, however I’m the one who is in control. Why have I been placing so much pressure on myself? Can I really choose the wrong type of plastic bin to store my stuff? Can stopping in Tahiti instead of Fiji be the end of me?

A cup of tea shared in front of the fire, with animals near (Finnegan is keeping my spot warm on the chair next to Graidy). With the late October chill in the air, the woodstove’s rosy glow draws us all closer, helping us get ready for winter’s simpler pleasures.

The fall color is just beginning to dapple the Mississippi
Valley here in Saint Paul. For us, it’s
a last chance to get out and enjoy mild weather before the death-defying cold
swirls around us. But for the people
who made our city, it was a sign of the world closing in on their little
pioneer village.
When the Civil War broke out in 1861, Saint Paul had been
settled for at least 30 years. This was
the Territorial Capital from 1849 on, and been anointed the State Capitol in
1858. An amazing 10,000 people made
this their home, and all the modern conveniences like theaters and stores were
available. It wasn’t the frontier any
longer.
Still, Saint Paul was tied to the rest of America completely
and totally by the Mississippi River – railroads were a decade away. The arrival of winter meant that there would
be no more supplies coming into town for at least 4 months. Fall color would have been greeted by these
pioneers the way we treat a yellow traffic lig

Check it, if you're a hip hop head you should go out and get that new 9th wonder album called "The Dream Merchant 2". It's definitely one that you should cop. One particular joint I like is called "No Time To Chill" featuring Little Brother. It's very dope! Big Pooh and Phonte spit 2 ill verses (see below). Based on what I see, Big Pooh's a little more advanced with his diction.

"Ne-Yo's" Brand New Video For His Next Single "Can We Chill" Premiered Recently. I am really liking this track & definitely approve of it as a single choice, it has a real good flow to it that I like. The video itself is pretty standard, Ne-Yo meets girl, they dance at a party, you know the rest. Although I do like the song, his album leaves quite a lot to be desired, rather than being a 'poppy - R&B', single filled CD, like I was expecting, it seems to be full of filler tracks with the odd few standing out as real R&B. If you have the album, I would love to know what you think of it?Check Out The Video Below & Let Me Know What You Think? Drinks giant Coca-Cola has invented a bottle that chills on the inside when the top is twisted off. Insiders have hinted that the technology will feature in a new drink called Sprite Super Chilled, which could reach the UK by next year. The bottles do away with the need to add ice, which dilutes the liquid - but they must be put in a special vending machine to regulate temperature. Bosses at the US firm hope to cash in on the "super chilled" drinks trend. Coke and Diet Coke could be packaged in the new bottles if they prove to be successful.

Autumn has finally arrived and the morning chill is beginning to creep into the bones. Summer was just here a couple weeks ago - how fast it changes!I have been doing some experimenting with back lighting lately. For macro shots it is easier to control the exposure without a lot of blown out areas.I am still experimenting with non-macro images, and I tend to have a hard time calculating the correct exposure. Bracketing once again gives me a choice, and I find myself favoring the darker images as there is more detail in the under exposed areas. The only worry is the digital noise that tends to creep into the darker images. This was a big concern with my point and shoot camera, and the worry has carried over into my DSLR shooting. From reading several sources, the advice given is to "shoot to the right", which means to have the picture a bit more over exposed than underexposed.I will continue to experiment with the back lighting as it can give some dramatic effects when it all works to

It has gotten quite cool all of a sudden here, the chill of fall has arrived, no mistaking. Last night there were areas in the 30's. This is typical September weather. I can remember, as a girl, walking to school with my new sweater in the morning and feeling too warm for it walking home in the afternoon. Cool and crisp mornings followed by brightly blue and sunny days, September is always a pretty month in my mind.I took note and determined that I will cover the tomatoes in hopes that I will get a decent crop once it warms up a bit. Fall time here usually warms up for most of October and you can usually get some last tomatoes, if you cover them at night. Tuck them in with a sheet to keep the frost out and get the last little bit of summer on the table. This time of year always makes me feel wistful. Foggy mornings and misty evenings, interspersed with the clear afternoon light that seems too short... lovely days always seem too short. The butterflies dance obliviously around the autum
Everyone knows that there are many different types of people. Some are able to work a lot, and others just want to have fun. Myself, I enjoy a fun game every now and then, and I like to go places and/or do things with my friends.
There are some people that are working all the time. Even when their boss forces — or really pushes for — them to take some time off and go on vacation, they can’t bear to be without their cell phone(s) so they can check up on everything they are working on. Again . . . and again . . . and again.
I like to work, but if I try to work too much, eventually I feel burned out and I need to take a moment — even a single minute helps — to relax and do something that I want to do. One fun site to visit when you need a quick moment to play a game or to think about something other than work is AddictingGames.com. (But don’t get addicted) I like HomeStarRunner, too, so check that out if you have a somewhat twisted sense of humor. (Or i
I know everyone in the UK will hate me for saying this - we have had an absolutely RUBBISH summer this year after all, but I'm actually quite excited about the prospect of autumn. I know there are loads of great summer things that us knitter can, and do, make over the warmer months, but there's something about lovingly making cosy cardigans, jumpers, hats and gloves that gives me a lovely warm feeling inside!
I've finished my summer Rowan handknit cotton cardigan and have been wearing it all weekend - and picking up some compliments along the way too I might add! I think it's going to see me through the next month or so very well and will be quite nice to take to New York and Florida as it's warm without being cloying and a nice stylish cover up - especially for evenings.
But the colour just screams summer to me and my head's already into teal blues, burnt oranges and moss greens! I've seen some green Louisa Harding Impression yarn at HALF PRICE in a l
We have so many natural tools of health that are just waiting to be picked up and used. The art of meditation is one of them. Once learned, there is not stopping the power and magic that becomes available to us.

As for the views on global warming by a real skeptic (Lomborg, of course, is only skeptical about global warming), one might begin by reading Michael Shermer. In the end, though, each individual should turn to the facts, and then make up his or her own mind. Don't believe something only because an authority tells you to (or not to).

Chill Am Rhy
Next up, we decided to head down to a seasonal bar in Basel along by the river. Perched on the bank directly under the Munster, Chill Am Rhy is a unique place. Only open for a two months during the summer, it stretches along the river and has a relaxed, lounge-y, cosmopolitan feel to the lace. It comes alive at night with gas torches, mood lighting and good music. Well worth a trip, but we managed to get there on the last weekend. Badly timed review, I know, but we’ll have to wait until next year to revise it! Here were our thoughts on the place
Date and time: 24/08/07 around 6.30 - 8.30pm
Location and ease of access: Only one way to walk in, down fourth flights of stairs by the Munster onto the river bank. Otherwise for the dramatic entrance, take the little ferry boat across the river and it drops right at the bar! 8/10 (simply because you can arrive by boat!)
Beer selection and prices: Surprisingly good selection of draught and bottled beer for a t
World-wide credit concerns that started with the U.S. mortgage market have driven down nearly every significant global stock index this month except for the Shanghai Composite Index. The Chinese market has been insulated by strict capital controls that largely prevent international investors from buying domestic Chinese stocks-and that tightly limit overseas investing by Chinese. It was 103 degrees with high humidity where I live yesterday, so you’ll have to forgive me for posting about Dodge’s “Chill Zone” technology, which is a standard feature of the 2008 Dodge Avenger, at all trim levels, among other models from that maker.
If you’ve missed the recent news about the survey Dodge conducted as part of the marketing campaign for this, the information you need is this: 26% of Americans don’t use their glove compartment at all, 72% do use it, but not for actual gloves, and most Americans keep things like insurance info, sunglasses, tissues and flashlights in the glove box.
Enter Dodge. They’ve added a compartment to the lower front of the glove box, and chilled it with dedicated a/c vents. It can hold up to four standard soda cans, and keep them cool for you.
Now, I’m all for having cold beverages during long, hot summer drives, but I have to wonder if anyone is ever going to make a chilled glove box that is cap
Nothing like a bed which goes by the name of “Chill Bed”, especially if you like us believe in the art of lounging around. Designed by Jose Gandia, the day bed measures 40″ x 80″ x 10″h, 56″ x 80″ x 10″h or 80″ x 80″ x 10″h. We’ve previously featured a number of ambient projectors on TFTS that, in the main, serve to project the night sky across the ceiling and walls of rooms, and we’ve even featured a Moon Light complete with remote controlled phases, but this calming ambient projector known as the Umine Healing Theatre really appeals to us as it uses the calming effects of water to wash away the stresses of your day.

So you’re feeling hot and want to get a place to rest….where do you go? Home? That’d cause you to switch on the air conditioning and the fan and waste electricity. How about the mall? No, then you’d have to spend money buying ice-cream for the kids and watching wifey buy more things and you don’t get to rest at all.
How about….IKEA? Yeap, that’s what the Chinese in China are doing. They’re going to IKEA to rest. With the beds and comfortable couches, it’s actually a pretty damned practical place to rest, if you don’t mind the stares. These Chinese guys sure don’t. I’m impressed.
