If you have not heard of it, Blogburst is a syndication channel for some of the best news sources in the country. If you would like some great online exposure I would suggest you try to get your blog approved at their site. My understanding is that it is not easy and they will not just add every site that applies for entry. Some of the featured distribution channels for Blogburst are Reuters, USA Today, Gannett, Mcgraw-Hill, Chicago Sun Times, and Fox News.I had not visited the site in a while and did not realize that a few of my recent posts were featured on some of the various news outlets.I had done a post here at Active Rain a few weeks ago that was featured titled Federal Funds Rate drop V.S 30 Year Fixed Rate Mortgages.  The article talked about how the general public

Gossip Girl review in Chicago Sun Times
Psssst! Have you heard? ‘Gossip Girl’ is so bad, so smarmy, so deliciously wicked that it’s actually good — and it has the devoted viewers to prove it November 4, 2007 Nate observed the party. Debauchery was to begin shortly. But Nate unexpectedly questioned his idle life of wealth. His pinky young face flushed under an anime hairdo. “The money, the drugs, the privileges,” Nate told his best friend Chuck. “They’re just keeping us numb, so we don’t know it’s better out there in the real world.” Chuck sneered, appearing fey/preppy/same thing with his upturned collars and old-money affectation. (He rides a limo to prep school). “Everyone out there wants to be us,” Chuck clucked back at Nate. “We are to be aspired to, and not run away from.” Unconvinced by Chuck’s logic, Nate strayed, then returned like a good trust-fund baby after he tasted the real world for an hour or two. Chicago Sun-Times adds A Garden Blog
Today I got an e-mail from Carolyn (a fellow Chicago garden blogger) that reminded me that I was going to mention the latest addition to garden blogging. The Chicago Sun-Times has added a gardening blog to their website but it looks like they're going to do things a little different than the Tribune's gardening blog. The garden blog from the Sun-Times looks like it's going to be a collaborative effort between several writers.Garden Blogger in Chicago

      Chicago Sun-Times review
The Chicago Sun-Times is the latest to weigh-in on FALL. Its review by author and professor Stephen J. Lyons ("Landscape of the Heart") says, in part:"Heartbreaking ... the girls' last terrifying moments are delivered with such vivid texture that they are almost too painful to read. The technique and execution is not unlike Truman Capote's 'In Cold Blood' ... And just when your heart is broken by this terrible tragedy, Franscell adds a coda that will further disturb your peaceful sleep." -- CHICAGO SUN-TIMESRead the whole review by clicking here.
