Pick No. 14: Chicago Bears2006 was a magical season for the Chicago Bears. They made a Cinderella run to the Super Bowl. They featured the best defense and special teams in the NFL, as well as an offense that could grind out yards and kill you deep on occasion. The Super Bowl didn’t work out the way they wanted, but the future looked bright in the windy city. Then 2007 came and the wheels fell off.Rex Grossman went from a Chicago hero in 2006 to a guy nobody wanted midway through 2007. It got so bad that he was actually benched for former Denver Bronco great Brian Griese. To be a successful quarterback in the NFL you need to do one of two things: Lead the offense effectively or just don’t get in the way.Rex Grossman spent the entire 2007 season getting in the way. That said, resign

By Sebastien Veilleux It's now or never for the New York Jets. Last week they beat the Patriots 17-14 in New England to go to 5-4 on the season. This week they are home to host the visiting 8-1 Chicago Bears. The Jets are just one game out in the ACF East and in possible contention for a AFC Wild Card spot—if they win this week. The Jets have a realistic shot at finishing 10-6 this season. They still have games against weak opponents such as Oakland, Green Bay and Houston. They also play Buffalo and Miami again. The Jets won the first meeting against both of those teams. A run to the playoff starts right now. They opened the door with the win against the Patriots. Now, they must get the ball rolling by beating the Bears. The Bears are 8-1—thanks to some gifts by opposing teams—and primed to enter the playoffs again. There's a lot of concern growing about QB Rex Grosman. He's looked absolutely horrible at times—mainly when he's pressured. Last week they came back to beat the G

Donald Ramsell and Douglas Warlick’s friendship had become strained in recent years as they argued over tailgating tactics and who would drive to Chicago Bears games. So when it seemed like Douglas Warlick wouldn’t come through with the tickets for this year, Donald Ramsell did what came naturally: he sued.
“He’s a lawyer. I’m a lawyer,” said Ramsell, a DUI lawyer who is representing himself in court. “The courthouse is where you go when you have a dispute. I’m not going to let somebody muscle me out of my tickets.”
Warlick, a family-practice attorney who has held the tickets since 1985, was shocked when he learned of the lawsuit from a reporter. “I’m still in shock. That’s so obnoxious, so immature,” Warlick said. “He could’ve just picked up the phone. I think ’sad’ is an appropriate word for somebody who does something like that.”
The suit Ramsell filed Ma
Alright, enough of this regurgitated dribble. Up until right this moment this site has only displayed erotic stories from the past, nude pictures of Jenn Sterger (yum!) and links more interesting naughty sites. So maybe you aren’t banging down the door for the original dronings of the yours truly, but you had to know they were coming at some point. In all honesty, I have been busy with sexy adventures that will contribute to some future erotic tales.
That is life in the big city, is it not? Late nights, petite ladies with a penchant for the tease and significantly overpriced booze. But I will save those tales for a later time, when I am ready to reveal my most recent trysts. Today my thoughts center around an article written a week or so ago by the lovely and talented Steff. The post talks about “quickies”, otherwise known as pivotal points in my sex life — but then again, I don’t think Steff is referring to the same sort of “quickies” that hav

The Bears and the Seahawks are minutes away from kick-off and Fox has done a great job of beating the storylines into the ground. Will it be "good" Rex Grossman or "bad" Rex Grossman? Will the Seahawks offense be able to move the ball on the Bears defense? Even my mother is now aware of the fact that Lovie Smith's contract hasn't been renewed yet.Deion Branch should get fined for wearing those gloves. I'm pretty sure that someone in the crowd got a seizure by looking at those things.Joe Buck reminds us now how good and how bad Rex Grossman has been this season. Qualilty stuff right here.Touchdown Bears. Thomas Jones caps a nice opening drive with a touchdown and the Bears are off to a good start.Rex Grossman just got nailed and appeared to fumble it, but it's ruled an incomplete pass and the Bears catch a break. Fox just did an interview with Saints coach Sean Peyton and he looks like he got about 1 hour of sleep last night. I don't blame him though. If I was a New Orleans resident, I'd be in jail right now or in need of some medical attention.Lance Briggs just stuffed Shaun Alexander on 3rd down and the Seahawks have to kick a field-goal. I'm not going to beat around the bush about this. Lance Briggs would look damn good in a Dolphin uniform next season. Either way, Josh Brown comes in and kicks a 40-yard field-goal and the Bears lead is down to 21-17.Matt Hasselbeck connects on a big third down pass with Deion Branch and Seattle appears to be in business here. Branch should just wave those horrible green gloves in the face of whoever is covering him and he should be open all day long. And Seattle leads. Shaun Alexander runs it in from 13 yards out and the Seahawks take the lead 24-21. There used to be a time when Chicago's defense was actually intimidating. That's what speed will do for
