1 kg chestnut puree*200 g sugar1 cup water150 g almonds or hazelnuts200 g margarine200 g chocolate1 Tbsp oilwhipping cream*Note on chestnut puree: I used store-bought chestnut puree, rum flavored. If you use unflavored puree make sure you add some rum to taste.Cook syrup with sugar and 1 cup water and add it to the chestnut puree. Roast hazelnuts, grind them and add to the puree as well as 50 g melted chocolate, and finally, softened margarine. Mix everything well, and then place in the mold. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours.Melt remaining chocolate with oil and cover the bomb with it. Decorate with whipped cream.

We love this dish a lot and when I cook this, the dish is always wiped clean. Everyone has a favourite. My son will eat more of the mushroom. My husband the chicken and I finished up the carrot and chestnuts. I love the chestnuts! It adds sweetness to the dish.It's almost the same as how I did THIS, except I pan fried the chicken slightly before I add it to the pot with the rest of the ingredients. This is a beautiful colt who injured his right eye. It is not bad to look at but he lost partial sight in it. He was priced at 2500 prior to his injury. This is a very fancy show prospect that will be gorgeous both in halter and performance. I have several others so decided to put him up for sale cheap and try to get him placed. If he does not sell, I will show him and he will be competitive. Take a look at him if you have ever wanted a great quality colt for next to nothing.

Today’s a special day, especially if you like chestnuts, wine and good deeds. This is the day from top to bottom of Portugal, we celebrate Sao Martinho (Saint Martin’s Day), and we do it with Chestnuts and Aqua Pe.
First you may be asking who is Sao Martinho and what is Aqua Pe? Well the story of Sao Martin goes something like this;
Sao Martinho (St. Martin), born around 317 AD, he was a Roman solider who belonged to the Roman Empire and held the spiritual beliefs of Roman mythology. At the time, Roman Mythology was very inward looking towards the Empire and had little consideration for others. On a particularly dreadful winter day, Martin was caught in a downpour of rain with only his cape to protect him. While riding to get out of the horrible weather he was approached by a beggar, half naked with hardly a thread to cover him from the cold weather.
Martin didn’t have any change to help the man but was moved by the man’s misery - he grabbed his sword - reached back

Krystal is a mini-hamburger chain much like White Castle. I’ve seen them in the South Eastern part of the U.S. Don’t know how far North they go. I enjoy them equally which is to say, I don’t enjoy them at all. They upset my stomach… bad.
Anyway, Kobayashi is still out with his jaw pain (same thing that hurt him during the Nathan’s Hot Dog competition in July). Now there are 2 titles and records that Chestnut has taken away from Kobayashi. I have a feeling that when Kobayashi recovers, he will be back with a vengeance.

It's getting cold in Hong Kong, wouldn't it be great if you find something hot and delicious for your snack?I would highly recommend the Chinese Sweet Chestnut! I know you must have ate chestnut before, but not the Chinese one. These chestnut are native in China and we still roasts it with the anicent method. Personally, I do not prefer those using a machine to roast the chestnuts, it's because those chestnuts do not smell as good as that using the traditional way. (Maybe I'm a old-fashion guy, haha)I bought 1/2 lb roasted chestnuts and it costs HK$12 only. If you've bought them, you must not set them aside to let them cool! Chestnut defeated defending champion Takeru Kobayashi by eating a record-breaking 66 Nathan's Hot Dogs! I first discovered this recipe when my good friend Minerva of Making Bread brought me dinner one night when I wasn’t feeling very well. She is always thoughtful like that, I need to take lessons . My husband and I instantly fell in love with this yummy dish and as usual it is extremely easy and fast to make.
I typically make this meal in a 9*13 pan, but it can easily be halved and cooked in a 9*9 dish. The only thing I don’t half or double is the water chestnuts. I always just use one can.

I thought I have posted this dish before but I couldn't find it when I when I wanted to link this. Anyways, this is one of the regulars on our dinner table. It's simple to wok and healthy to eat. Can be recommended to vegetarian friends too! Just use vegetarian oyster sauce.Ingredients:1 1/2 carrots, skinned and chopped in chunks10 Chinese dried mushrooms, soaked to soften and stalks removed (retain the water)8 Fresh Chestnuts, soaked in hot water to ease the peeling of shell.1 bowl water1 tablespoon oyster sauce1 teaspoon light soy sauceOilHow to do it:After removing the shells from the chestnuts, deep fry them in oil for 30 seconds. This helps to cut down the chestnuts from breaking during braising.Saute the mushrooms and carrots for 1 minute.Put all the 2 vegetables in a pot.Add in the water retained from the mushrooms and additional water if required to cover the vegetables.Add in the oyster sauce and simmer for 1 hour or longer if you prefer your vegetables to be softer.The liqu
What were you doing at 6 A.M. this morning? Well if you lived in Philadelphia, odds are you were at the 15th Annual Wing Bowl at the Wachovia Center. The event consisted of 15 Philadelphia natives against 5 professional eaters.
Joey Chestnut, who routinely finishes second to Kobayashi at Coney Island, devored a record 182 wings to win the Wing Bowl. This is what Chestnut had to say:
“I love to eat. Today I was swallowing wings, swallowing bones, whatever it took.”
For his efforts, he won a 2007 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The top local finisher, Jerry Coughlin, finished fourth overall with 167 wings eaten. He also received the same prize as Chestnut for being the top local yocal.
Rumors are that the other prizes awarded were a new toilet from Home Depot, a years supply of Charmin with Aloe, Imodium AD with Gas, Pepto-Bismal, and some hot sauce.
