First single "Killa" took some time but was able to peak to #39 on the Billboard Hot 100. As for the album many would expect a sophomore slump, but this effort is anything but that. I just love the way these girls harmonize together and make one perfect sound. It's clear they have grown as artist and show a more personal side to them on the album. After Their Short Lived Success In 2006 With The Album "Unappreciated", Here Is The Apparent Follow Up From 4 Piece R&B Group; "Cherish". "Killa" features "Bad Boy's" "Yung Joc" & is a hot joint with a catchy hook & nice production, it won't set the world on fire, but it is a very easy listen & it serves well as a first single from their new album. I have never really felt Cherish, they never seem to have that 'fire' of their closest comparison; "Destiny's Child". I don't honestly see them being around for too long, even with guest appearances & main production from "Jazze Pha" they don't have that 'X-factor' of other artists in an already flooded market. I usually don’t talk about tragedies and things of the nature on my blog but this particular incident I feel I have to address. I know her step sister. My mother used to babysit her step sister when we were teeny tiny kids and we (stepsister and I) had been friends since. However, as we got older we (stepsister and I) stopped keeping in touch and the friendship sorta diluted. That is beyond the point.
Nailah’s body was found 5 minutes walking distance from my mother’s house. This goes to show that something like this can happen to anyone, anywhere. Her cause of death hasn’t been determined nor have they found the suspect. Before she disappeared an “ex” had been threatening her, she filed a report, but the “ex” didn’t appear guilty. I think he’s linked in somehow. Sometimes the insane are able to play the innocent role really well. He needs to be questioned again!

This is a very dear layout to me. It's a layout that clearly documents how much my two little sweethearts love each other. Therefore, I've titled the layout, "Cherish". With such a heartwarming photograph, I would definitely think that it deserves a very warm and vintage look layout. Therefore, I've decided to create a very old vintage look layout to show how precious and how much I've cherished this moment. First of all, I've taken a few extra steps to create that old vintage distressed look paper for this layout. (Refer to "Create Old Vintage Distressed paper" in my tips and tricks section) To add some softness to the layout, I've used some fabrics, buttons and a few fabric flowers. As for the title, I've hand cut the title out of cardstock and add some stamping on it. This is my first attempt in creating an old vintage look layout and I've had lots of fun in the process.
A Brand New Track Has emerged From R&B Group "Cherish".It is entitled "Keep It Fresh", it has a somewhat childish beat, but it's pretty hot none the less.I liked there earlier material, both "Do It To It" & "Unappreciated", were both consistent & well produced tracks, this song follows on that line & is rumoured to be produced by "Jazze Pha".There is definately a void left by "Destiny's Child" that has never been filled, there are plenty of solo female artists out there but not too many groups.
