      "Cheers to all Mothers"
My new friend, Tess tagged me with this lovely thought for all mothers out there. Yes, you're right, Tess, it is a great privilege to be a mother. And of course, this is the time when we begun to experience what our mothers went over, I am so glad, that through all these moments, of being a mother and a wife, I always been thankful for having a mother like mom! Anyway, thanks friend for sharing this meme with me. I really appreciate the thought of such as sweet, cute card."My mom is a neverending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune." ~Graycie HarmonIt is indeed great to be a mother. Motherhood is such a great blessing. This particular allergy wreaks havoc on the body of the gluten allergic person, if ingested. A close friend of mine, along with a visitor on this blog, suffer this allergy and I just want to give some recognition. When I learned that Damian was allergic to dairy, it was hard. There were many mistakes that I myself made, that caused my child much discomfort. Over time, through many mistakes and hours and hours of phone calls to companies, I have learned to cope with food allergies and it is no longer such a huge hassle. Pharrell - ‘Cheers ft. The Clipse’
All I gotta say is that new DJ Drama album is starting to look like the next must cop. Thats right, ‘Cheers’ isn’t off of any Star Trak projects, but is in fact off of DJ Drama’s upcoming LP “Gangsta Grillz” which also features that instant vintage joint “Da Art Of Storytelling pt. 4“. I like this joint though, its a bit reminiscent of the earlier N.E.R.D sound as in the acoustics in the production are more dominant, or more balanced. Skateboard also paints a nice picture with lyrics on his first verse, and the Clipse are apparently going real hard at all of their alleged swagger jackers. I’m not insinuating anything but if you can remember back to July everything they mention in ‘Cheers” is what they accused Lil Wayne of doing, so take it how you take it. “Gangsta Grillz” is in store December 4th… On tangent: Pusha T chops it up about their new deal with Columbia, what the future has in store and wo

It took our founding fathers a hell of a lot longer to write the Constitution than it took Bush, Ashcroft and Haliburton, I mean Cheney, to "un write" it. Bull-SCHIP!!!! Democrats Seek Forced Government Dependence With SCHIP Expansion While The "Stupid Party" Cheers Them On . . . .
The President was right to veto the SCHIP expansion recently passed by congress. To put it simply, all the grandstanding from lying Democrats and quisling Republicans that Bush is somehow denying health care to children is absurd. The facts about SCHIP simply do not support this notion.Under SCHIP, taxpayers pay for the health coverage of children in families of four earning as much as $72,000 per year. Democrats in Congress seek to open the program to families of four earning $83,000 per year or more. The President has made it clear that he is open to expanding the program, but not to cover well-off families before States enroll 95 percent of those lower-income children first. The foundation of SCHIP is utterly implausible in the first place. It assumes the efficient transfer of funds from taxpayers to the needy as their tax dollars go from their pockets to Washington and then back to state governments and ultimately back to the people who "need it." A member by the ID of "schuby87" over at Cheers and Gears posted up these cell-phone shots of a silver Challenger mule near the Chrysler tech center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Unlike the previous mules snapped which were dark-red and black, this mule was silver and wore the same colossal 5-spoke wheels. This little story of amateur espionage evoked some juice as the engineers driving the Challenger were on the positive note when the photographer approached the mule. While the two cars were waiting at a traffic light, the photographer made some revs on his car and their cynical expressions quickly morphed into smiles. A classic story of amateur espionage turned into street battle against a million-dollar Challenger prototype quickly vanished as the engineers let off.Something we were able to catch was the absence of the B-pillar which would put a s

Keep in mind that you can use any type of fruit that you like that's appropriate for your nutritional type. The cherries are slightly defrosted, nice and cold, making the smoothie creamy and refreshing. The color is gorgeous, the taste sublime. Best of all, it's easy ... once you know the secret: Kitchen supplies: Immersion blender Large glass measuring cup Tall glass for serving Ingredients: 4 ounces of raw milk 1 teaspoon raw, organic honey ½ cup dark, sweet, slightly-defrosted cherries (unsweetened) Preparation: Combine milk, cherries and honey in glass measuring cup. Cheers to my New Domain!
I’m so happy I could just scream! I finally have my new domain set up and ready (that’s right, you’re looking at it). I know I haven’t posted in some time but I’m back and ready to roll. I moved from a free Blogger blog to a self-hosted Wordpress blog, and there was a lot of work and I lot of things I had trouble with. My main trouble that kept me busy these past couple of days was importing my old posts, but I finally got it after I changed some of my blog’s permissions so Wordpress could access it. Luckily I had a lot of kind people help me along the way of my transition, and I want to thank them all. Cheers Mate with Eco-friendly breweries
My blog friend who runs his blog, Cymru66, wrote a blog post about his beer of the month club, you can read it here. This led to a discussion if there was any Eco-friendly beers out there. Then couple days later, I get an e-mail from Ideal Bite (I subscribe to it and it's awesome) with fabulous tips on Eco-brewing. It must be fate!According to Ideal Bite, you should drink locally produced beer to help sustainable economy. It cuts down transportation needs so there is less carbon footprint, and you support your local farmers economically. It's a win win situation. And I found that most microbrewery have very good and distinctive beers that far surpass the bottled domestic beers. Cheers to Ryan
My friend Ryan rocks! I’ve mentioned before that not only does he help make Fogarty wine great, but he also makes impressive wine on his own label. Quick side note: when I’ve previously reviewed his wines, it has been misconstrued as not liking them. But it has been with complete admiration and honesty, which I think(hope) he appreciates. However, he got all the validation he needs (for tonight anyway) because I just read in an e-mail from his wife that Ryan got BEST OF SHOW RED at the 2007 WineMaker International Amateur Wine Competiton. Not only that, but a Gold for his Cab and a Silver for his Barbera. Read more about it on Sara’s blog. I told you Bonfire Vineyards was one to watch… 2007 WineMaker International Amateur Wine Competiton, Bonfire Vineyards

      Cheers to the wingman!
I recently found myself in a situation where I was dying for a wingman. Not so much as a guy to take one for the team, but just someone t occupy the fat friend who was a mother fucking cockblocker from hell! The importance of wingmen is vital if the human race is to continue. All women worth going after have fat friends. These fat friends are so thankful for their hot friend, they cling to this friend. Wingmen serve to occupy this fat friend so yourbuddy can score (interpret 'score' as you like) For every hookup out there, theres a wingman. Taking one for the team is the same as getting a purple heart in war. Its a sacrifie for a good cause. The only personal gain for beng a wingman is you earn respect to have your own wingman when your time comes.Wingmen keep people like me from manslaughtering fat biches. This started out as a rant...but I changed my mind...Cockblocked by a bitch without a cock....damn...This PSA has been brought to yo by the T.E.D. campaign.(Terrorizing and Eliminat

Natalie Cheers on Knicks, We Cheer on Natalie
Awww, Natalie! Everyone loves Natalie! The universally accepted as precious (right? How could you not?) actress enjoyed a Knicks/Mavericks game at Madison Square Garden last night.Unfortunately, the home team lost, but Natalie looked to be having a good time anyway. Sure, this may be totally boring, but a little break from controversy isn't always a bad thing. Plus, Natalie's awesome.

      Charles Bukowski: cheers!

      Cheers big ears!
Sometimes I wonder which shift causes me to raise my eyebrowsand/or shake my head in wonder more....day or night. I generallybelieve night shift is more entertaining, but today proved to methat day shift has its moments. It started with my opening waitress, the one and only Tiffany. She got to the restaurant 20 minutes late, still shaken from a very rough night. Apparently Tiffany suffersfrom the occasional nightmare, and she had one last night. Much toher displeasure, her 'friend' (she is juggling various 'friends' sincedumping her ex; I guess she is trying to decide which one she really wants.) didn't get up when she jolted awake. Then when she didwake him up, he kind of blinked, looked at her, and fell asleepagain. Tiffany was steamed, declaring that she needed supportfrom her man when she has her nightmares. Well, guess this guylost brownie points! After that it was the customers who providedfodder for me. The second table of the day was a group of 5 roughlooking construction wo

      Cheers, beers and leers!
I recently came across a catalog my husband had set aside rather than toss in the recycle bin with the thousands of other catalogs that arrive this time of year. I was intrigued with this catalog on two counts. One reason was that my husband, who throws everything away, actually saved it—and the other reason was the tag line prominently printed in big block letters on the front cover. It said, “STUFF GUYS WANT.” What woman could resist such a direct challenge? Not me. I sat down and started perusing the pages of this catalog in hopes of finding out what kind of stuff guys really want. After all, this could be my chance to find the perfect gift for my husband this year. Boy was I surprised. If this catalog is true to its word, and its pages accurately reflect stuff guys really want, then my husband is sure to be disappointed come Christmas morning. After digesting this “stuff” for a while, I decided to make a Christmas list of my own—of all the stuff my husband apparentl

Three Cheers For South Dakota!! YAAAAYY!!!!!
I've already done two separate posts slamming South Dakota for 1. Their new abortion law which bans virtually ALL abortions; and 2. A ballot initiative which would disbar — even imprison — judges who make unpopular decisions. So in the spirit of fairness, here's the good news: the people of South Dakota defeated both of those laws on Election Day. You Go People! Twenty-first Century here we come. The abortion law was passed earlier this year by a huge majority of the state legislature. Opponents of the law put a measure on the ballot to overturn it, and 55% of the people voted to overturn the abortion ban. Methinks a few legislators are out of touch with their constituents. Abortion opponents were hoping this law would be appealed to the Supreme Court, and this would pave the way for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe vs. Wade. Whoa, not so fast! The ballot initiative for disciplining "activist judges" was known as "JAIL 4 Judges" This would have turned the clock b

      Cheers!
One party down... And three more to go.The past two days have been a blur. I've been busy helping out with the Youth Christmas party. On Tuesday, I was there at Uncle J's from 8am, and I only got back home at 12.30am. We put up the decorations that night. Many thanks to Aldous, Janice, Sharon & Roy who came to help out. Much appreciated! ^.^How the party turn out? I don't think we reached a hundred, but there were definitely more than 50 people. Despite being a costume party, only Chandra (a king), Beverley (a fairy, they later dubbed her Tinkerbell) & Jessica (Minnie Mouse) were decked out in costumes. The others were all dressed casually. Some made do with santa hats for their lack of costumes.Party highlights included the teary (or scary) reunion of Roy & Alex, the C3F's Christmas carolling, & who can forget the food! *Haha*
