CHASSIS ENGINEERED FOR SAFETY AND PERFORMANCE
CHASSIS ENGINEERED FOR SAFETY AND PERFORMANCEThe Mazda CX-9 has received the U.S. government’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) highest possible ratings in frontal and side impact crashes – five stars. In addition, both the FWD and AWD versions of the CX-9 received four-star rollover resistance ratings. With five stars to back it up, it comes as no surprise that Mazda’s advanced engineering provides CX-9 with one of the safest unibodies on the market. Guiding development principles are:* Front frame rails that are large in section and as straight as possible.* A front subframe (supporting the powertrain, suspension, and steering equipment) attached to the unibody at six widely separated points. A forward extension integral to the subframe helps it to more effect

Last week we talked a little about IFS and the like and touched on Class A and DP. Most often Class A will be used by folks describing a gasoline engine mounted in the front of a chassis and a box sitting on the chassis. The drivers seat and the co-pilot seat can be turned [...]

      Proton Gen2 Chassis Strengthening Facts!
Here's some info to share for you guys..got it from ULTRA RACING websites...Strut Bars and Chassis Strengthening Technology If you're serious about your car's handling performance, you will first be looking at lowering the suspension. In most cases, unless you're a complete petrolhead, this will be more than adequate. However, if you are a keen driver, you will be able to get far better handling out of your car by fitting a couple of other accessories to it. The first thing you should look at is a strut brace. When you corner, the whole car's chassis is twisting slightly. In the front (and perhaps at the back, but not so often) the suspension pillars will be moving relative to each other because there's no direct physical link between them. They are connected via the car bo

COOLER MASTER Centurion 541 RC-541-SKN1 Black Aluminum bezel, SECC chassis MicroATX Mini Tower ...
Seems durable. Love the mesh front bezel. Tooless design is neat. Of course, you'll need to screw in the motherboard and fans, power supply... but almost everything else is completely tooless. Upside down design makes sense. Especially if you use a videocard. Semi-glossy.(Except the front bezel.) Great cooling opportunities. No blinding lights like some of the other cases out there.

      Chassis, Firearms and Wolverines
We're three weeks into the school year and we're back on schedules, well-ordered and in a good groove that I hope lasts until December. Life is good.Lillian had her first day of kindergarten. How did it go? Well as we drove up to the school she informed (not asked, informed) me that I need not accompany her into the school. "I can go by myself Mom," she said. When I explained that at least for the first day the teachers wanted parents to go with their children into the school she sighed and said, "Okay but can you wait at the end of the hall?"No, I had to go all the way with her into the classroom so she shrugged and allowed me to be present. I asked her that afternoon if she'd made any friends and she said that she "had indeed made some friends" (that's her new word: indeed--she sounds like she's a BBC announcer) but couldn't come up with any names to prove it.I later saw the class list and it's no wonder, there aren't more than two or three traditional names in the group,

Silverstone: Innovative once again with their ML02 Modt chassis
Silverstone is at again. They have released their new ML02 Media Center targeted chassis to market. The ML02 is a vast departure from the desktop focused ML01 but is a nice departure nonetheless. The ML02 features an Imon based front panel LCD with IR remote control. Being that it is based on the Imon LCD model, this means that your media center remote control will also be compatible with the IR receiver. The downside is that since it is a Modt platform your motherboard selections will be narrowed at best. The ML02 also only has a single expansion slot. So choose your hardware carefully.
