      Dave Chappelle’s Brief Stand-up In London… (video)
It look like Dave’s doing aight, and is still up to his hilarious antics. The brotha was recently spotted a “Corks Wine Bar” in London and amidst harassment (well… more so aggressive persuasion to put out his cigarette) from the bar’s manager and security guard it appears that everyone exercised their funny bones that evening. Go see what I’m talking about after the break folks. Flo Dirt Reviews: "The Best of Chappelle’s Show Uncensored – Top 25 Sketches"
Flo Dirt back atcha. Yo, I had the tremendous honor of being allowed to “review” The Best of Chappelle’s Show Uncensored Top 25 Sketches. I put quotes around the word review because asking me to review this DVD is like asking me if Dr. Dre makes dope beats. It’s like asking me if I still miss Pac. It’s like asking me if I love my daughter more than anything in this world. These are all no-brainers. I mean, come on… It’s Chappelle’s Show! You’re talking about by far the funniest and hardest-limit-pushing series of our generation and those to come. This was just me watching what I’d watch anyway. This wasn’t work by any stretch of the imagination. That’s real. But let’s get into it, shall we? I own the first season on DVD, like most of America. I’m the type of dude that wants to put money in the pockets of true artists. Dave Chappelle is so incredibly smart and forward-thinking, and all the other amazing things that have been said about him since his comedic de

DAVE CHAPPELLE SETS LAUGH FACTORY RECORD: And it has nothing to do with the N-word.
*Comedian Dave Chappelle surprised fans at the Laugh Factory Sunday night by showing up unannounced for a set at around 10:30 p.m., and then remaining on stage for the next six hours straight. According to Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada, Chappelle's set was the longest performance by any comedian in the venue's 28-year history. It began at 10:36 p.m. Sunday and ended at 4:43 a.m. on Monday. "It was just one of those nights," Masada said of Chappelle's appearance. "He had everyone laughing for six hours." The marathon session only lost about a dozen of the 150-plus audience members who were present at the beginning of Chappelle's set, which covered such topics as President Bush's buffoonery, Comedy Central's decision to hype Carlos Mencia after Chappelle abruptly left the network, and Michael Richards' use of the N-word on the very Laugh Factory stage last year. "I was his punching bag for a half hour," Masada said. Needless to say, Chappell

Chappelle Returning To TV; Producing HBO Pilot
Chappelle Returning To TV; Producing HBO PilotDave Chappelle will return to television as a producer for a pilot on HBO called "Judge Mooney" starring comedian Paul Mooney. The show will have Mooney reenacting actual court cases that have already been decided but in a Paul Mooney style."Whatever I say goes," Mooney told the L.A. Daily News. "I've also got a little dog that sits on my judge's desk, and I ask the little dog's opinion. If the dog barks, I say, 'Well, the dog says you have to go.' It's real crazy."Mooney is known for his many appearances on "Chappelle's Show" as Negrodamus and on the comedy club circuit.Recently, Paul Mooney announced that he would no longer use the "N-word" in his stand-up performances."Using the word, we were trying to defuse it, trying to desensitize people to it ... take the power out of it," Mooney said. "But the word is an equal-opportunity word now, with Latin kids and white kids saying it, and what it conjures up is all these demons. I watch

      Dave Chappelle: Two Funny Clips
I'm up late finishing up a midterm paper. I decided to take a break, so I wandered over to YouTube to find Dave Chappelle's "Black Bush" skit because my paper deals with Bush and the Iraq War. Anytime I watch it, I just fall out laughing because it's so funny. I then doubled back for more Chappelle laughs for break number two. This one is a game show called "I Know Black People." Enjoy!
