I have attending Hope Chapel for 14 years, and that's how long I had been on Maui. Hope started started 13 years before I arrived here - and on Sunday, we are celebrating it's 27th Anniversary. I saw Rosslyn Chapel. made even more famous after filming of the Da Vinci Code, for the first time last weekend. I missed the opening hours so only saw it from the exterior. I must admit I found the external apppearance very disappointing. As I approached through Roslin Glen, I could see this structure with a steel roof in the distance. Evidently the steel roof was erected around 10 years ago to protect the building and allow it to dry out, after renovation work done in the 1950s allowed dampness to permeate the whole structure.
