and now, a crafty update
This weekend I went to the art store where I bought tons of frames, those little brackets that people put dishes on (you know, for one picture) and teeny woven baskets to hold business cards. Either that, or tiny silk bags - one iridescent green, one blue, and one deep red - I may have the cards spilling out of them. What else did I get.... baskets with liners, all different sizes, to put Christmas cards and prints in, and a yard of leaf-green chenille/velvet with huge raised flowers on it, to put across the table for color. Should pick up the colors of the framed 16 x 20 fairy print I plan to have on an easel in front of the table nicely. Slowly but surely... this is starting to come together.

Yup, green chalk boards. You probably know what that means - this shot was taken at Lasalle! As you all know, school chalk board color is consistent with the actual school color. If you’ve been around campuses you’ve probably seen the fabled maroon chalk boards of UP and the blue boards of Ateneo.

I have a couple of friends called Misaki and Ryu who have two little girls who have become like nieces to Rieko and I. Recently we went to their kindergarten sports festival and I thought I would uplaod a few pics and write a bit about the kids.These two are like chalk and cheese. Hana, the oldest at 4, is very shy and quick to cry at the first thing. She is a nice lass but is just really lacking in confidence. Sachi, the little one at 2, is a real bruiser. She will fight, get knocked down, laugh, and then just get back up. She is always in the middle of the ruckus when I take my dog around to theirs and she plays with their dog. No NBA team in the playoffs has come back to win a series after going three games down. LeBron played well even though he missed all his shots in the fourth quarter. James ended the night with 30 points which does not reflect the amazing team communication that he held with the Cavs through out the game. This series so far has been all about teamwork and LeBron has been doing a great job of spreading the love around. The final game of the series could be tonight if the Wizards lose their fourth straight. I hope to see some amazing LeBron James signature dunks tonight.
