Texas Instruments recently demonstrated at the 2007 CTIA Wireless convention a prototype of a DLP pico-projector small enough to fit on your finger tips which can be used by cellular phones, digital cameras and portable media players. Imagine that, your cell phone can be used as a projector. (View Video about DLP). The DLP pico-projectors will either be standalone projectors or integrated into mobile devices and will provide consumers and business professionals with the flexibility to share video and graphic content in a larger way.TI are calls the projector a "pico" projector to emphasize its tininess. The projector can show DVD-quality images onto any surface, turning the barest of walls into a videoscreen.
