There's no denying that Celine Dion could take two foot length pieces of wood, strap them on her lovely narrow feet and make them fashionable! I've admired the way she looks in her outfits as well as her selection of footwear and today is no different. She was wearing textured black tights and black suede ankle boots. The dress was a form fitting black number with hot pink detailing which was cute, but whose allure was pale in comparison to the display closer to the floor! It makes me ask the question how Celine stays so thin, but manages to skirt the "skinny stick legs" syndrome that plagues models with similar body mass. I'm not certain of the designer of the black boots, but here are some similar styles with the pictures of the more expensive ones at the top and the inexpensive ones last. “Beauty and The Beast” by Celine Dion is one of the all-time favorite children songs. The traditional story was adapted and made into a timeless classic by Disney’s 1991 animated version of Beauty in the Beast.
It is the only animated film ever to be nominated for an Academy Award, let alone two nominations, and it won both. The film won Best Song and Best Original Score.
It is also one of only two animated films to have been included in AFI’s (American Film Institute) 100 years…100 Passions list. The list comprises the 100 greatest love stories of all times.
The film was adapted from several versions of the classic fairy tale. The original tale has the father as a rich merchant with three daughters (the youngest named Beauty) who loses all his money, forcing them to live in the country. The father eventually meets the Beast who forces the youngest to come live with him in his castle, and this is where the similarity to the original story ends.

Canadian songstress Celine Dion will appear on the TV soap drama All My Children on November 21st. The Grammy Award-winning artist will drop by Pine Valley, the fictional town that serves as the setting of ABC’s All My Children, playing herself and performing the title track from her new CD Taking Chances. “We are thrilled and honored to welcome Celine Dion to the All My Children stage. Her appearance with Erica Kane and her musical performance is a great treat for our audience. I can’t think of a better way to ring in the holiday season than with the angelic sounds of Celine Dion,” said executive producer Julie Hanan Carruthers. Dion is only the latest in a string of music stars to appear in daytime television, Victoria Beckahm recently appeared on Ugly Betty, Grammy winner Nelly Furtado appeared as herself and performed on ABC’s One Life to Live last February, while Enrique Iglesias performed on CBS The Young and the Restless .
Celine Dion certainly believes that the show must go on. In her emotional appearance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” she opened up about her toughest concert that she has ever had to do.
Celine chose to perform in Las Vegas the night after hearing her father had died in November, 2003, insisting he would have wanted her to go on with the show.
Celine’s manager who is also her husband Rene Angelil filmed her emotional concert, which began with her explaining, “I will tonight perform the very best I can.” Celine also dedicated the show to her late dad.
Celine Dion’s new album, “Taking Chances,” is due in stores Tuesday.
I don’t know what you think but that concert must have been so hard to do and I don’t think that I could have done it, so well done Celine for putting on a brave face and not letting your fans down at a very sad time.
